  • Two different domain for specific languages pointing to one site

    I developing a client's blog and he needs it to be bilingual (english and spanish). Now what he wants is that users can get to the content based on the domain e.g. Jhon enters www.domain.com and he gets the english version and Juan enters www.elsenordominio.com to get the spanish version. All content will be validated by php so the users and search engines only reads the domain related language. What do i need to use header re-direct or 301? is it bad for seo? will google will google penalize me? I hope you guys can help me and forgive me if my english is not good.

  • configure postfix to send as different domains

    I have postfix configured to receive mail for multiple domains. The primary domain goes through a standard postfix setup, whereas a secondary domain is handed by a /etc/postfix/virtual.db file which maps addresses for the secondary domain to other unix users. Incoming mail works perfectly, but when I send mail as users on the secondary domain, the mail receiver still sees it as coming from [unix username]@[primarydomain].net. Can anyone help me figure out how to configure the virtual postfix domain to send mail through the same domain it receives it as?

  • Git dont sync files untill committed even if checkout different branch

    Ok i have git 1.7.11.1 on windows and i have local test reposotory with 2 branches one is master with index.php help.php then i create another branch called slave :) I run from git bash rm help.php and it dissapears from the folder, but i dont stage anything. I switch to checkout master branch and it supposed to restore file help.php because its not modified in master branch isnt it? And it does not do it. When i back to slave branch and commit and then switch to checkout master then help.php appears. is that the way it supposed to be why?

For this to work I need to rewrite the url to open the correct php file. That would look something like this: RewriteRule ^(.*).css$ /csszip.php?file=$1.css [L] But I only want the first to happen when the second doesn't and vice versa.   • Dual monitor with different resolutions problem

    I'm on an LG R405 with a PM965 chipset and a NVIDIA GeForce Go 8400M GS gaphics card. I'm trying to use an external monitor (Benq senseye3 G2222HDL) through a VGA out port. All was fine when installing except for the screen layouts were flip-flopped (computer defalut setup so external monitor was to the right instead of left). When I moved the secondary monitor to its real position in the setup, I started getting strange problems. I loose representation of large portions of the screen, on both screens, and have to reboot. If I plug the monitor in after rebooting I get more problems than when booting up with the monitor already plugged in, but in both cases I can barely see what I'm doing. Please advice! Regards /M

    I have written an insert statement which inserts a record into Table1. Table1 has a column "ID" which is an auto_increment(Identity) primary key. How can I fetch the newly generated "ID" and as I need to Insert this value as foreign key in Table2?     The SSL certificate on menswearireland.com and on www.menswearireland.com works fine on Safari, Chrome, SeaMonkey, K-Meleon, QtWeb, Firefox, and Opera. However, Internet Explorer claims that there is an error: The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority. The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address. Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server. Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/5.0) Another site hosted on the same managed server shows no errors: achill-fieldschool.com and www.achill-fieldschool.com work fine on IE, even though as far as I can tell the certificate is set up identically. What am I doing wrong? This is a LAMPP server running Plesk. It looks like the server is showing different certificates to different clients. To some clients it shows a RapidSSL certificate made out to www.menswearireland.com with menswearireland.com as a valid alternative name. To other clients, it shows a Parallels Panel certificate, made out to Parallels Panel. Here are results from a few different online SSL checkers: most say it's fine, while two show errors. Incidentally, on both menswearireland.com and achill-fieldschool.com the homepage will redirect from HTTPS to HTTP. To see SSL details, visit the page /account on both (that page will redirect from HTTP to HTTPS). I’ve found more information in a more detailed online SSL checker. https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=menswearireland.com This site works only in browsers with SNI support My understanding is that SNI (RFC 6066) is a method for putting many SSL sites on one shared IP address and port. This does not work on Internet Explorer on older versions of Windows (this has to do with the version of Windows, not the version of Internet Explorer). However, all our SSL sites are on a unique IP address, so we shouldn’t need SNI.

  • Compile and optimize for different target architectures

    Summary: I want to take advantage of compiler optimizations and processor instruction sets, but still have a portable application (running on different processors). Normally I could indeed compile 5 times and let the user choose the right one to run. My question is: how can I can automate this, so that the processor is detected at runtime and the right executable is executed without the user having to chose it? I have an application with a lot of low level math calculations. These calculations will typically run for a long time. I would like to take advantage of as much optimization as possible, preferably also of (not always supported) instruction sets. On the other hand I would like my application to be portable and easy to use (so I would not like to compile 5 different versions and let the user choose). Is there a possibility to compile 5 different versions of my code and run dynamically the most optimized version that's possible at execution time? With 5 different versions I mean with different instruction sets and different optimizations for processors. I don't care about the size of the application. At this moment I'm using gcc on Linux (my code is in C++), but I'm also interested in this for the Intel compiler and for the MinGW compiler for compilation to Windows. The executable doesn't have to be able to run on different OS'es, but ideally there would be something possible with automatically selecting 32 bit and 64 bit as well. Edit: Please give clear pointers how to do it, preferably with small code examples or links to explanations. From my point of view I need a super generic solution, which is applicable on any random C++ project I have later. Edit I assigned the bounty to ShuggyCoUk, he had a great number of pointers to look out for. I would have liked to split it between multiple answers but that is not possible. I'm not having this implemented yet, so the question is still 'open'! Please, still add and/or improve answers, even though there is no bounty to be given anymore. Thanks everybody!

    On my shared hosting server (Hostmonster) I have django (actually pinax) setup so that a .htaccess mod_rewrite rule rewrites the request to a pinax.fcgi file: RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteRule ^(.*)$ pinax.fcgi/$1 [QSA,L] What I would like to do is have a different pinax.fcgi file get called depending on the domain used (or subdomain), something like this: RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^subdomain\.domain\.com$ [NC] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteRule ^(.*)$ pinax2.fcgi/$1 [QSA,L] RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^domain\.com$ [NC] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteRule ^(.*)$ pinax.fcgi/$1 [QSA,L] This is stored in a .htaccess file in my ROOT public_html folder (not in the public_html/subdomain/ folder), but unfortunately just results in internal redirect errors. How can I write these rules so that they use a different fcgi file for different domains?

  • TTL and traceroute showing different values for same domain

    y am i getting two different output for tracert and ping. Ping Result showing total hops of 20 and tracert showing 8. default ttl value on my linux machine 64,icmp echo reply ttl value 44. 64-44=20 but tracert is showing only 8 hops. What can be the reason? If tracert is implemented using ttl then why am i getting different values for same domain.no matter how many times i tried. Fo google and google services,ttl value and tracrt are same,but for other domains its different.

And doing this results in creating a new image file that is a different size, rather than wordpress using html to control the size of the image.     Hi, I use Mac OS X Leopard with 4 different Spaces and an external monitor at workplace, which is located above the laptop. On each Space I work on a different project, with different terminal windows and Xcode and Finder windows. The problem happens when I am at home, then I use an external monitor but now located at left position. When the MacBook wakes up, everything gets messed up and even some windows switch from one space to another. Could I somehow fix it so always the windows belonging to one Space remain there and also the association to main/external monitor even if I change to another external monitor? Thanks

    Hi, I am working on integrating affiliate sales into few existing sites. We are using a few merchants who work via different networks (cj, shareasale, linkshare, avantlink). Now my observation is that all these networks provide data feeds in different formats. But that's not a big problem. My main concern is actually merchants using different titles on same products. I don't want to run into these situations: a) two listings of the SAME product from N merchants (if titles are just a bit different) b) one listing of N different products from merchants (if we don't use strict comparison algorithm) We want to automate everything as much as possible, want to avoid operators scanning listings under question all the time. How is this problem typically handled?
