  • Setting pixel color of BMP/JPG file in C#.

    Hi guys, I'm trying to set a color of given pixel of the image. Here is the code snippet Bitmap myBitmap = new Bitmap(@"c:\file.bmp"); for (int Xcount = 0; Xcount < myBitmap.Width; Xcount++) { for (int Ycount = 0; Ycount < myBitmap.Height; Ycount++) { myBitmap.SetPixel(Xcount, Ycount, Color.Black); } } Every time I get the following exception: Unhandled Exception: System.InvalidOperationException: SetPixel is not supported for images with indexed pixel formats. The exception is thrown both for bmp and jpg files. I have no idea what is wrong. Thank you in advance for the reply! Cheers.

  • How to color a mesh with values at the vertices in WPF 3D?

    We've got a sphere which we want to display in 3D and color given a fuction that depends on spherical coordinates. The sphere was triangulated using a regular grid in (theta, phi), but this produced a lot of small triangles near the poles. In an attempt to reduce the number triangles at the poles, we've changed out mesh generation to produce more evenly sized triangles over the surface. The first triangulation method had the advantage that we could easily create a texture and drape it over the surface. It seems that in WPF it isn't possible to assign colors to vertices the way one would go about in OpenGL or Direct3D. With the second triangulation method it isn't apparent how to go about generating the texture and setting the texture coordinates, since the vertices aren't aligned to a grid anymore. Maybe it would be possible to create a linear texture containing a color for each vertex, but then how will that effect the coloring? Will it still render smoothly over the triangle surfaces as one would expect by applying per vertex coloring?

  • How color attributes work in VBO?

    I am coding to OpenGL ES 2.0 (Webgl). I am using VBOs to draw primitives. I have vertex array, color array and array of indices. I have looked at sample codes, books and tutorial, but one thing I don't get - if color is defined per vertex how does it affect the polygonal surfaces adjacent to those vertices? (I am a newbie to OpenGL(ES)) I will explain with an example. I have a cube to draw. From what I read in OpenGLES book, the color is defined as an vertex attribute. In that case, if I want to draw 6 faces of the cube with 6 different colors how should I define the colors. The source of my confusion is: each vertex is common to 3 faces, then how will it help defining a color per vertex? (Or should the color be defined per index?). The fact that we need to subdivide these faces into triangles, makes it harder for me to understand how this relationship works. The same confusion goes for edges. Instead of drawing triangles, let's say I want to draw edges using LINES primitives. Each edge of different color. How am I supposed to define color attributes in that case? I have seen few working examples. Specifically this tutorial: http://learningwebgl.com/blog/?p=370 I see how color array is defined in the above example to draw a cube with 6 different colored faces, but I don't understand why is defined that way. (Why is each color copied 4 times into unpackedColors for instance?) Can someone explain how color attributes work in VBO?     I try to move with the VT100 keys here in GNU Screen: $ screen $ hello <left><left> ESC C ESC D but "ESC D" deletes until the end of line and ESC C does nothing. Perhaps, I am not using right VT100 emulation. How can I test it and how can I get the ASCII codes working from commandline with Screen?

Making some security testing I'd noticed than my server is returning a 200 HTTP status code of the default error page when I try to access to a non-existent element instead of return a 404 status code and redirect me to the default error page. I suspect that this is not the only fail with this issue. Anyone can suggest me a process to chech the most common HTTP status codes?

    Hi, I'm wondering if V1.0 generated redeem codes will be usable on a V1.1 version of my app? BTW, I know redeem codes are valid only 4 weeks and I also know that apps downloaded with a redeem code can be upgraded for free as with paid ones. My concern here is just: do unused redeem codes become invalid when a new version of my app will be available on the store? Apple's doc is not clear about this point.     I'm trying to detect white objects in a video. The first step is to filter the image so that it leaves only white-color pixels. My first approach was using HSV color space and then checking for high level of VAL channel.   • Panel Background color, Transparency and background image don't work with Ambiance theme

    As the title suggests. Selecting a background image, color or using the transparency sitting doesn't work with the Ambiance theme. Sections of the panel will take the new settings, but many of the applets including the clock, Indicator Applet Session, Indicator Applet, Rhythmbox icon, Tomboy Icon, Separators and various others retain the Ambiance theme background. This carries over through restart. Also you cannot resize the panel in Ambiance above 24 pixels as the background image doesn't scale. Am I doing something wrong, is it a bug or is it meant to be like that? I really like Ambiance, but am having a hard time using it because of these issues Edit: It seems these issues carry over to Radiance and New Wave as well

  • Why is Firefox changing the color calibration of this image?

    The symptom of my problem is that the same hex color in a PNG image does not match the CSS-defined color defined by the same hex code. This problem only happens in Firefox when gfx.color_management.mode is set to 2 (tagged images only) rather than 0 (off). (Firefox ICC color correction described here). The image is http://dzfk93w6juz0e.cloudfront.net/images/background-top-light.png which at the bottom has the color #c8e8bd. However, the shade of green is different to that color when Firefox color calibration is enabled. Is this image inadvertently "tagged" for color correction?

    I am using an array buffer for colors data. If I want to load different colors for the current mesh in real time what is the correct way to do it.     i allready asked this on Stackoverflow, but i think this question may belong here. In a Libgdx game i have some Animations for my Player. All the Frames for this Animation are inside a TextureAtlas. The Player Textures show a human, with a white T-Shirt. The T-Shirt is the only white part of the Player. Now i want to be able to replace the white color with red for Player1, with green for Player2 and so on. How can i do that, without loosing the advantage of the TextureAtlas (Texture switching)? Ofc 1 way would be to store 4 versions of every Frame, for 4 different Players (colors). But there are games out there, where you can fully customize the Player, give him a blue hat, red pants and pink shirts and so on. How can this be done? Thanks a lot!   • Getting a table cell to become a different color on mouseover

    Currently, when I create a table, and I mouseover a cell, that entire row is highlighted. I'm trying to make it so that it is only the immediate cell.
