  • Testlink stop working when configuring it to use LDAP

    - by YuriAlbuquerque
I have a TestLink webservice running on a server, and OpenLDAP running on other server. There are no firewall problems between them (I managed to configure Redmine, on the same server as TestLink, to use LDAP authentication). But whenever I place the configuration for LDAP in TestLink, TestLink stops working. I have no clue on what is happening. This is where I define LDAP's settings on custom_config.inc.php: $tlCfg->authentication['method'] = 'LDAP'; $tlCfg->authentication['ldap_server'] = 'serverip'; $tlCfg->authentication['ldap_port'] = '389'; $tlCfg->authentication['ldap_version'] = '2'; $tlCfg->authentication['ldap_root_dn'] = 'dc=mycompany,dc=com,dc=br'; $tlCfg->ldap_organization'] = ''; $tlCfg->authentication['ldap_uid_field'] = 'uid'; $tlCfg->authentication['ldap_bind_dn'] = 'myuser'; //Not actual login name and password, for obvious reasons $tlCfg->authentication['ldap_bind_passwd'] = 'mypassword'; $tlCfg->authentication['ldap_tls'] = false; $tlCfg->user_self_signup = true; I'm certain that OpenLDAP is 2.X. My TestLink version is 1.9.3 What could I be doing wrong?

  • Global Address List, Multiple All Address Lists in CN=Address Lists Container

    - by Jonathan
When my colleges (that was way before my time here) updated Exchange 2000 to 2003 a English All Address Lists appeared in addition to the German variant. The English All Address Lists have German titled GAL below it. This has just been a cosmetic problem for the last few years. Now as we are in the process of rolling out Exchange 2010 this causes some issues. Exchange 2010 picked the wrong i.e. English Address Lists Container to use. In ADSI Editor we see CN=All Address Lists,CN=Address Lists Container,CN=exchange org,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=domain and CN=Alle Adresslisten,CN=Address Lists Container,CN=exchange org,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=domain. In the addressBookRoots attribute of CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=domain both address lists were stored as values. We removed the English variant from addressBookRoots and restarted all (old and new) Exchange servers. User with mailboxes on the Exchange 2003 now only sees the German variant. Exchange 2010 is still stuck with the English/Mixed variant as are Users on Exchange 2010. Our goal would be to have Outlook display the German title of All Address Lists and get rid of the wrong Address Lists Container.

  • What breaks in a Windows domain if a member has a high time skew?

    - by Ryan Ries
It's taken for granted by most IT people that in a Windows domain, if a member server's clock is off by more than 5 minutes (or however many minutes you've configured it for) from that of its domain controller - logons and authentications will fail. But that is not necessarily true. At least not for all authentication processes on all versions of Windows. For instance, I can set my time on my Windows 7 client to be skewed all to heck - logoff/logon still works fine. What happens is that my client sends an AS_REQ (with his time stamp) to the domain controller, and the DC responds with KRB_AP_ERR_SKEW. But the magic is that when the DC responds with the aforementioned Kerberos error, the DC also includes his time stamp, which the client in turn uses to adjust his own time and resubmits the AS_REQ, which is then approved. This behavior is not considered a security threat because encryption and secrets are still being used in the communication. This is also not just a Microsoft thing. RFC 4430 describes this behavior. So my question is does anyone know when this changed? And why is it that other things fail? For instance, Office Communicator kicks me off if my clock starts drifting too far out. I really wish to have more detail on this. edit: Here's the bit from RFC 4430 that I'm talking about: If the server clock and the client clock are off by more than the policy-determined clock skew limit (usually 5 minutes), the server MUST return a KRB_AP_ERR_SKEW. The optional client's time in the KRB-ERROR SHOULD be filled out. If the server protects the error by adding the Cksum field and returning the correct client's time, the client SHOULD compute the difference (in seconds) between the two clocks based upon the client and server time contained in the KRB-ERROR message. The client SHOULD store this clock difference and use it to adjust its clock in subsequent messages. If the error is not protected, the client MUST NOT use the difference to adjust subsequent messages, because doing so would allow an attacker to construct authenticators that can be used to mount replay attacks.

  • How can I set up Redmine => Active Directory authentication?

    - by Chris R
First, I'm not an AD admin on site, but my manager has asked me to try to get my personal Redmine installation to integrate with ActiveDirectory in order to test-drive it for a larger-scale rollout. Our AD server is at host:port ims.example.com:389 and I have a user IMS/me. Right now, I also have a user me in Redmine using local authentication. I have created an ActiveDirectory LDAP authentication method in RedMine with the following parameters: Host: ims.example.com Port: 389 Base DN: cn=Users,dc=ims,dc=example,dc=com On-The-Fly User Creation: YES Login: sAMAccountName Firstname: givenName Lastname: sN Email: mail Testing this connection works just fine. I have, however, not successfully authenticated with it. I've created a backup admin user so that I can get back in to the me account if I break things, and then I've tried changing me to use the ActiveDirectory credentials. However, once I do, nothing works to log in. I have tried all of these login name options: me IMS/me IMS\me I've used my known Domain password, but no joy. So, what setting do I have wrong, or what information do I need to acquire in order to make this work?

  • How do I connect a 2008 server to a 2003 server active directory?

    - by Matt
Our DC is running Windows Server 2003. I've just set up Windows Server 2008 and have terminal server running on it. When setting the terminal server permissions, it was able to allow a group name that was read from the domain. In the DC the new terminal server shows up as a computer in the domain. I can also log in as a user within the domain even though that user doesn't exist locally on the new server. However, when I go to set sharing permissions on the new machine it doesn't show my domain as a location. Instead it is only looking at location "machinename" and not allowing domain to be seen or added. Is there something I'm missing? Ok, lots of errors in the event log. We have this: The winlogon notification subscriber is taking long time to handle the notification event (Logon). Followed by this: The winlogon notification subscriber took 121 second(s) to handle the notification event (Logon). Followed by: The processing of Group Policy failed because of lack of network connectivity to a domain controller. This may be a transient condition. A success message would be generated once the machine gets connected to the domain controller and Group Policy has succesfully processed. If you do not see a success message for several hours, then contact your administrator. I think this might be the same problem I'm having http://serverfault.com/questions/24420/primary-domain-controller-slow Solved. The issue was that I had changed from DHCP to static and put the wrong DNS server IP in. i.e. firewall instead of DC/DNS server.

  • How to Setup Sharepoint Extranet to authenticate against a dmz AD

    - by Satish
I have a web app which is extended to extranet for our clients to access. We have setup a different AD server and domain for dmz and clients have to be authenticated against that domain. I'm little confused about the setup especially what all web.config files I have to update. Do I have to update the web.config file for Central admin site and the extended web app. According to this blog I need to do update both, but as soon as I make the changes in the web.config for central admin, central admin site stops working. Here is what I added to the central admin web.config file between /Sharepoint and system.web I have this <connectionStrings> <add name="DMZConnectionString" connectionString= "LDAP://dmz.xxx.com:389/OU=Clients,DC=dmz,DC=xxx,DC=com "/> Between system.web and securityPolicy <membership defaultProvider=”DMZADProvider“> <providers> <add name="DMZADProvider" connectionStringName="DMZConnectionString" connectionUsername="DMZ\ldapUser" connectionPassword="Password" enableSearchMethods="true" attributeMapUsername="userPrincipalName" type="System.Web.Security.ActiveDirectoryMembershipProvider, System.Web, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a" /> </providers> </membership> I know the connectionusername and password works becuase I use the same in SSP for importing profiles. Any idea what might be causing the error?

  • Domain Controller DNS Best Practice/Practical Considerations for Domain Controllers in Child Domains

    - by joeqwerty
I'm setting up several child domains in an existing Active Directory forest and I'm looking for some conventional wisdom/best practice guidance for configuring both DNS client settings on the child domain controllers and for the DNS zone replication scope. Assuming a single domain controller in each domain and assuming that each DC is also the DNS server for the domain (for simplicity's sake) should the child domain controller point to itself for DNS only or should it point to some combination (primary VS. secondary) of itself and the DNS server in the parent or root domain? If a parentchildgrandchild domain hierarchy exists (with a contiguous DNS namespace) how should DNS be configured on the grandchild DC? Regarding the DNS zone replication scope, if storing each domain's DNS zone on all DNS servers in the domain then I'm assuming a DNS delegation from the parent to the child needs to exist and that a forwarder from the child to the parent needs to exist. With a parentchildgrandchild domain hierarchy then does each child forward to the direct parent for the direct parent's zone or to the root zone? Does the delegation occur at the direct parent zone or from the root zone? If storing all DNS zones on all DNS servers in the forest does it make the above questions regarding the replication scope moot? Does the replication scope have some bearing on the DNS client settings on each DC?

  • Restoring Windows 2008 Server X86 and X64

    - by rihatum
Restoring Windows 2008 Server (Domain Controller) We are using Backup Exec System Recovery 2010 to Image our DC. Now this software has a feature to convert the backup into a vmware or hyper-v VM I have also used disk2vhd to convert one of our dc's to a vhd and when I connected it into Hyper-V, it booted fine, I can login - BUT :-) As soon as I login, I get the activation error, that change product key, this product key isn't good for this machine etc. Question is : When in a real recovery situation, what would be the procedure to restore it either virtual or onto a physical box but be able to login and change product key etc ? In this scenario its just locked down and I cant' do anything, if this is the case, how would I replicate my production environment via these tools ? Any Ideas ? Will be grateful for some real world examples here. Same thing happens with our exchange backup / test restore either physical or virtual, can login but nothing else. Now we don't have the keys as they are OEM keys and just wondering what will happen in a real scenario, would we be purchasing another KEY or using the OEM key on our new server ? This is a test environment I am trying to create by restoring our backups either into hyper-v or physical test machines. Also, If I build up a machine (Server 2008) in a VM (Hyper-V), How can I restore just the system state backup of my DC into it ? will that give me the activation error too ? even though I would use the TRIAL ISOs provided by Microsoft ? Kind regards

  • Firefox not using Kerberos despite being configured to

    - by Nicolas Raoul
I am deploying Linux/Firefox on a corporate Kerberos network. I followed this Kerberos-on-Firefox procedure but still Firefox does not connect via the company's Kerberos. I am using Firefox 3.0.18 on RedHat EL Server 5.5 Here is what I did: Run kinit on the command line to create a Kerberos ticket Check with klist: the ticket is valid until tomorrow, service principal is krbtgt/[email protected]. In Firefox, set network.negotiate-auth.trusted-uris and network.negotiate-auth.delegation-uris to .dc.thecompany.com. Load the company's portal page via its full hostname: http://server37.thecompany.com/alfresco. (note: server37 is actually the machine I am running Firefox on, but that should not be a problem I guess) PROBLEM: the company's intranet portal still serves me the login/password page. The same portal correctly uses Kerberos on Internet Explorer/Windows 7 machines, same settings, and shows the user's personal page. The server does not see any Kerberos request coming. Did I do something wrong? I enabled NSPR_LOG_MODULES=negotiateauth:5 as explained here, but the log file stays empty.

  • Trouble with backslash characters and rsyslog writing to postgres

    - by Flimzy
I have rsyslog 4.6.4 configured to write mail logs to a PostgreSQL database. It all works fine, until the log message contains a backslash, as in this example: Jun 12 11:37:46 dc5 postfix/smtp[26475]: Vk0nYDKdH3sI: to=<[email protected], relay=----.---[---.---.---.---]:25, delay=1.5, delays=0.77/0.07/0.3/0.35, dsn=4.3.0, status=deferred (host ----.---[199.85.216.241] said: 451 4.3.0 Error writing to file d:\pmta\spool\B\00000414, status = ERROR_DISK_FULL in "DATA" (in reply to end of DATA command)) The above is the log entry, as written to /var/log/mail.log. It is correct. The trouble is that the backslash characters in the file name are interpreted as escapes when sent to the following SQL recipe: $template dcdb, "SELECT rsyslog_insert(('%timereported:::date-rfc3339%'::TIMESTAMPTZ)::TIMESTAMP,'%msg:::escape-cc%'::TEXT,'%syslogtag%'::VARCHAR)",STDSQL :syslogtag, startswith, "postfix" :ompgsql:/var/run/postgresql,dc,root,;dcdb As a result, the rsyslog_insert() stored procedure gets the following value for as msg: Vk0nYDKdH3sI: to=<[email protected], relay=----.---[---.---.---.---]:25, delay=1.5, delays=0.77/0.07/0.3/0.35, dsn=4.3.0, status=deferred (host ----.---[199.85.216.241] said: 451 4.3.0 Error writing to file d:pmtaspoolB The \p, \s, \B and \0 in the file name are interpreted by PostgreSQL as literal p, s, and B followed by a NULL character, thus early-terminating the string. This behavior can be easiily confirmed with: dc=# SELECT 'd:\pmta\spool\B\00000414'; ?column? -------------- d:pmtaspoolB (1 row) dc=# Is there a way to correct this problem? Is there a way I'm not finding in the rsyslog docs to turn \ into \\?

  • How to determine the Kerberos realm from an LDAP directory?

    - by tstm
I have two Kerberos realms I can authenticate against. One of them I can control, and the other one is external from my point of view. I also have an internal user database in LDAP. Let's say the realms are INTERNAL.COM and EXTERNAL.COM. In ldap I have user entries like this: 1054 uid=testuser,ou=People,dc=tml,dc=hut,dc=fi shadowFlag: 0 shadowMin: -1 loginShell: /bin/bash shadowInactive: -1 displayName: User Test objectClass: top objectClass: account objectClass: posixAccount objectClass: shadowAccount objectClass: person objectClass: organizationalPerson objectClass: inetOrgPerson uidNumber: 1059 shadowWarning: 14 uid: testuser shadowMax: 99999 gidNumber: 1024 gecos: User Test sn: Test homeDirectory: /home/testuser mail: [email protected] givenName: User shadowLastChange: 15504 shadowExpire: 15522 cn: User.Test userPassword: {SASL}[email protected] What I would like to do, somehow, is to specify per-user basis to which authentication server / realm the user is authenticated against. Configuring kerberos to handle multiple realms is easy. But how to I configure other instances, like PAM, to handle the fact that some users are from INTERNAL.COM and some from EXTERNAL.COM? There needs to be an LDAP lookup of some kind where the realm and the authentication name is fetched from, and then the actual authentication itself. Is there a standardized way to add this information to LDAP, or look it up? Are there some other workarounds for a multi-realm user base? I might be ok with a single realm solution, too, as long as I can specify the user name - realm -combination for the user separately.

  • Error getting PAM / Linux integrated with Active Directory

    - by topper
I'm trying to add a Linux server to a network which is controlled by AD. The aim is that users of the server will be able to authenticate against the AD domain. I have Kerberos working, but NSS / PAM are more problematic. I'm trying to debug with a simple command such as the following, please see the error. Can anyone assist me to debug? root@antonyg04:~# ldapsearch -H ldap://raadc04.corp.MUNGED.com/ -x -D "cn=MUNGED,ou=Users,dc=corp,dc=MUNGED,dc=com" -W uid=MUNGED Enter LDAP Password: ldap_bind: Invalid credentials (49) additional info: 80090308: LdapErr: DSID-0C090334, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 525, vece I have had to munge some details, but I can tell you that cn=MUNGED is my username for logging into the AD domain, and the password that I typed was the password for said domain. I don't know why it says "Invalid credentials", and the rest of the error is so cryptic, I have no idea. Is my approach somehow flawed? Is my DN obviously wrong? How can I confirm the correct DN? There was a tool online but I can't find it. NB I have no access to the AD Server for administration or configuration.

  • ffmpeg - How to determine if -movflags faststart is enabled? PHP

    - by IIIOXIII
While I am able to encode an mp4 file which I can plan on my local windows machine, I am having trouble encoding files to mp4 which are readable when streaming by safari, etc. After a bit of reading, I believe my issue is that I must move the metadata from the end of the file to the beginning in order for the converted mp4 files to be streamable. To that end, I am trying to find out if the build of ffmpeg that I am currently using is able to use the -movflags faststart option through php - as my current outputted mp4 files are not working when streamed online. This is the way I am now echoing the -help, -formats, -codecs, but I am not seeing anything about -movflags faststart in any of the lists: exec($ffmpegPath." -help", $codecArr); for($ii=0;$ii<count($codecArr);$ii++){ echo $codecArr[$ii].'</br>'; } Is there a similar method of determining if -movflags fastart is available to my ffmpeg build? Any other way? Should it be listed with any of the previously suggested commands? -help/-formats? Can someone that knows it is enabled in their version of ffmpeg check to see if it is listed under -help or -formats, etc.? TIA. • Spring security ldap authentication with different ldap for authorities

    - by wuntee
I am trying to set up an ldap authentication context where the authorities is a separate ldap instance (with the same principal name). I am having trouble setting up the authentication part, the logs dont show any search results for the following context. Can anyone see what I am doing wrong? <beans:bean id="ldapAuthProvider" class="org.springframework.security.ldap.authentication.LdapAuthenticationProvider"> <beans:constructor-arg> <beans:bean class="org.springframework.security.ldap.authentication.BindAuthenticator"> <beans:constructor-arg ref="adContextSource" /> <beans:property name="userSearch"> <beans:bean class="org.springframework.security.ldap.search.FilterBasedLdapUserSearch"> <beans:constructor-arg index="0" value=""/> <beans:constructor-arg index="1" value="(samaccountname={0})"/> <beans:constructor-arg index="2" ref="adContextSource" /> <beans:property name="searchSubtree" value="true" /> <beans:property name="returningAttributes"> <beans:list> <beans:value>DN</beans:value> </beans:list> </beans:property> </beans:bean> </beans:property> </beans:bean> </beans:constructor-arg> <beans:constructor-arg> <beans:bean class="org.springframework.security.ldap.userdetails.DefaultLdapAuthoritiesPopulator"> <beans:constructor-arg ref="cadaContextSource" /> <beans:constructor-arg value="ou=groups" /> <beans:property name="groupRoleAttribute" value="cn" /> </beans:bean> </beans:constructor-arg> </beans:bean> The logs simply show this when trying to authenticate: [DEBUG,UsernamePasswordAuthenticationFilter] Request is to process authentication [DEBUG,ProviderManager] Authentication attempt using org.springframework.security.ldap.authentication.LdapAuthenticationProvider [DEBUG,LdapAuthenticationProvider] Processing authentication request for user: wuntee [DEBUG,FilterBasedLdapUserSearch] Searching for user 'wuntee', with user search [ searchFilter: '(samaccountname={0})', searchBase: '', scope: subtree, searchTimeLimit: 0, derefLinkFlag: false ] [DEBUG,AbstractContextSource] Got Ldap context on server 'ldap://adapps.cable.comcast.com:3268/dc=comcast,dc=com/dc=comcast,dc=com' [DEBUG,XmlWebApplicationContext] Publishing event in Root WebApplicationContext: org.springframework.security.authentication.event.AuthenticationFailureServiceExceptionEvent[source=org.springframework.security.authentication.UsernamePasswordAuthenticationToken@b777617d: Principal: wuntee; Password: [PROTECTED]; Authenticated: false; Details: org.springframework.security.web.authentication.WebAuthenticationDetails@12afc: RemoteIpAddress: 127.0.0.1; SessionId: 191F70ED4E8351F8638868C34C6A076A; Not granted any authorities] [DEBUG,DefaultListableBeanFactory] Returning cached instance of singleton bean 'org.springframework.security.core.session.SessionRegistryImpl#0' [DEBUG,UsernamePasswordAuthenticationFilter] Authentication request failed: org.springframework.security.authentication.AuthenticationServiceException: Failed to parse DN; nested exception is org.springframework.ldap.core.TokenMgrError: Lexical error at line 1, column 21. • Searching global catalog

    - by Will I Am
If I do a query (I plan to use SDS.P) against the global catalog, what should the starting path be so I can search the entire GC? I want to enumerate all users in GC, for example. Let's say my gc has users for 3 domains (one parent, two children): TEST.COM ONE.TEST.COM TWO.TEST.COM and i'm on a computer in ONE.TEST.COM. I do not want to hardcode DC=XXX,DC=yyy, I would like to determine that at runtime. TIA! -Will

  • SharePoint LDAP filtering of People Picker users

    - by 78lro
Hi On my WSS server I have run the following stsadm command to filter the people picker results: stsadm.exe -o setproperty -url http://myserver -pn "peoplepicker-searchadcu stomfilter" -pv "(memberOf=CN=SharePoint,OU=AccessGroups,DC=contosio,DC=local)" My WSS sites are all used by different groups of users. Whenever I create a new site collection in WSS I want to ensure that I can filter the people picker to only show he relevant users for that group - can I automate this or would I have to manually do something like the above stsadm command? All the best

  • Tomcat 403 error after LDAP authentication.

    - by user352636
I'm currently trying to use an LDAP server to authenticate users who are trying to access our Tomcat setup. I believe I have managed to get the LDAP authentication working in the form of a JNDI realm call from Tomcat, but immediately after the user enters their password Tomcat starts throwing 403 (permission denied) errors for everything except from the root page (ttp://localhost:1337/). I have no idea why this is happening. I am following the example at http://blog.mc-thias.org/?title=tomcat_ldap_authentication&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 . server.xml (the interesting/changed bits) <Realm className="org.apache.catalina.realm.JNDIRealm" debug="99" connectionURL="ldap://localhost:389" userPattern="uid={0},ou=People,o=test,dc=company,dc=uk" userSubTree="true" roleBase="ou=Roles,o=test,dc=company,dc=uk" roleName="cn" roleSearch="memberUid={1}" /> <Valve className="org.apache.catalina.authenticator.SingleSignOn" /> web.xml (the interesting/changed bits) <security-constraint> <display-name>Security Constraint</display-name> <web-resource-collection> <web-resource-name>Protected Area</web-resource-name> <!-- Define the context-relative URL(s) to be protected --> <url-pattern>/*</url-pattern> <!-- If you list http methods, only those methods are protected --> </web-resource-collection> <auth-constraint> <!-- Anyone with one of the listed roles may access this area --> <role-name>admin</role-name> <role-name>regular</role-name> </auth-constraint> </security-constraint> <!-- Default login configuration uses form-based authentication --> <login-config> <auth-method>BASIC</auth-method> </login-config> <!-- Security roles referenced by this web application --> <security-role> <role-name>admin</role-name> <role-name>regular</role-name> </security-role> I cannot access my LDAP setup at the moment, but I believe it is alright as the login is accepted by the BASIC auth method, it's just tomcat that is rejecting it. The roles should be as defined in web.xml - admin and regular. If there is any other information you require me to provide, please just ask! My thanks in advance to anyone who can help, and my apologies for any major mistakes I have made - yesterday was pretty much the first time I'd ever heard of LDAP =D. EDIT: Fixed the second xml segment. Apologies for the formating-fail.

  • Active Directory validate service account and user accounts

    - by Padur
    Hello folks I have an issue here, I guess you all know what is AD service account and why it is used for, if not please see the below description ? SSL-Explorer requires a dedicated Active Directory account to use for authenticating AD users. This account serves as a link to your Active Directory database. If the Service Account is not found on your AD database then the SSL-Explorer service will not start. Well I have Active Directory service account details and user submitted login/password details.In the code below I validated service account by giving MEMBER_GRPUP and adminPassword and I check whether the user exists in Active Directory by submitting samaaccountname but my question here is how do I validate the password submitted for that user? I am not sure how to do this, I appreciate if anybody has any suggestions on this. Thanks for your time. public boolean validateUserFromActiveDirectory(String userId) { final String MEMBER_GROUP = "CN=asdadasd,OU=asdasdasd Accounts,OU=adasdas,OU=asdasdas,DC=asdasdas,DC=asdasdas,DC=adasdasd,DC=asdasdasd"; String employeeNumber = ""; final String LDAP_INIT_CTX = "com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapCtxFactory"; final String LDAP_URL = "ldap://xx-ssssssss.eee.eee.eeeee.eeeee:636"; final String MY_ATTRS[] = { "employeeNumber" }; String adminPassword = "somepassword"; String securityProtocol = "ssl"; boolean isValidUser = false; try { Hashtable env = new Hashtable(); env.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, LDAP_INIT_CTX); env.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, LDAP_URL); env.put(Context.SECURITY_AUTHENTICATION, "simple"); env.put(Context.REFERRAL, "follow"); env.put(Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, MEMBER_GROUP); env.put(Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, adminPassword); env.put(Context.SECURITY_PROTOCOL, securityProtocol); //C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Local Settings\Temp File tf = File.createTempFile("adentTruststore", ".jks"); tf.deleteOnExit(); byte buffer[] = new byte[0x1000]; ClassLoader cl = JNDI.class.getClassLoader(); InputStream in = cl.getResourceAsStream( "someTruststore.jks"); FileOutputStream out = new FileOutputStream(tf); int cnt; while ((cnt = in.read(buffer)) != -1) out.write(buffer, 0, cnt); in.close(); out.close(); System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore", tf .getAbsolutePath()); DirContext context = new InitialLdapContext(env, null); SearchControls searchControls = new SearchControls(); searchControls.setSearchScope(SearchControls.SUBTREE_SCOPE); NamingEnumeration results = context.search( "XX=ent,XX=abc,XX=aaaaa,XX=aaaa", "(sAMAccountName=" + userId + ")", searchControls); if (results != null && results.hasMore()) { //some logic } } } catch (Exception e) { e.printStackTrace(); } return isValidUser; }

  • How to resize an openGL window created with wglCreateContext?

    - by Nick
    Is it possible to resize an openGL window (or device context) created with wglCreateContext without disabling it? If so how? Right now I have a function which resizes the DC but the only way I could get it to work was to call DisableOpenGL and then re-enable. This causes any textures and other state changes to be lost. I would like to do this without the disable so that I do not have to go through the tedious task of recreating the openGL DC state. HWND hWnd; HDC hDC; void View_setSizeWin32(int width, int height) { // resize the window LPRECT rec = malloc(sizeof(RECT)); GetWindowRect(hWnd, rec); SetWindowPos( hWnd, HWND_TOP, rec->left, rec->top, rec->left+width, rec->left+height, SWP_NOMOVE ); free(rec); // sad panda DisableOpenGL( hWnd, hDC, hRC ); EnableOpenGL( hWnd, &hDC, &hRC ); glMatrixMode(GL_PROJECTION); glLoadIdentity(); glOrtho(-(width/2), width/2, -(height/2), height/2, -1.0, 1.0); // have fun recreating the openGL state.... } void EnableOpenGL(HWND hWnd, HDC * hDC, HGLRC * hRC) { PIXELFORMATDESCRIPTOR pfd; int format; // get the device context (DC) *hDC = GetDC( hWnd ); // set the pixel format for the DC ZeroMemory( &pfd, sizeof( pfd ) ); pfd.nSize = sizeof( pfd ); pfd.nVersion = 1; pfd.dwFlags = PFD_DRAW_TO_WINDOW | PFD_SUPPORT_OPENGL | PFD_DOUBLEBUFFER; pfd.iPixelType = PFD_TYPE_RGBA; pfd.cColorBits = 24; pfd.cDepthBits = 16; pfd.iLayerType = PFD_MAIN_PLANE; format = ChoosePixelFormat( *hDC, &pfd ); SetPixelFormat( *hDC, format, &pfd ); // create and enable the render context (RC) *hRC = wglCreateContext( *hDC ); wglMakeCurrent( *hDC, *hRC ); } void DisableOpenGL(HWND hWnd, HDC hDC, HGLRC hRC) { wglMakeCurrent( NULL, NULL ); wglDeleteContext( hRC ); ReleaseDC( hWnd, hDC ); }
