  • UIView autoresize problem

    Hey, I have a UIView with several subviews: one UIImageView and a couple of UIViews. When I change the frame property of the view, the imageView's size changes accordingly, but the rest of the subviews remain in their original size! I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.   • MacVim and netrw - Press ENTER

    Hey guys. I've set up MacVim to work with netrw for remote editing (yaaay!), but whenever I save a file, I get the following error: :!scp -q '/var/folders/PN/PNhWJAr5GGC0WfeLdFgWV++++TU/-Tmp-/v771493/0' 'remot_host:path/remote_file.css' Press ENTER or type command to continue Hitting ENTER removes it and I can edit again. I don't know what it is and it's annoying, but perhaps not broken. Tips?

  • Youtube video processing on iPhone

    Hey In my iPhone app, I want to load a video from youtube, perform some basic image processing on it and display it to the user. I am using openCV to do my image processing, and I know I can use it for grabbing all of the frames from the video as well (cvRetrieveFrame). My only problem is that cvRetrieveFrame expects to get its source of type CvCapture* which can be created either by a camera source or by a file name. How can I set a youtube video file as the source for CvCapture*? Thanks,

  • gnuplot: x11 terminal in "interactive mode" while calling gnuplot from shell

    Hey there, I want to call gnuplot with a shell command, all the commands are stored in, let's say, "load.gp". If I start the gnuplot shell and type "load 'load.gp'" I can change the viewpoint by dragging the splot with the mouse around. The Problem is, I can't figure out how to reach that without being in the gnuplot shell. echo "load 'load.gp'" | gnuplot -persist or gnuplot -persist 'load.gp' won't work. Can somebody help me?     Hey guys Im having trouble with iAds in landscape mode This is part of my code: banner = [[ADBannerView alloc]init] ; banner.currentContentSizeIdentifier = ADBannerContentSizeIdentifier480x32; [self.view addSubview:banner]; [banner release]; But is not working for me, it gives me error, gives me a SIGABRT error in the second line of the code.   • Netbeans render unrecognized files as html

    Hey Everyone, I am using Netbeans and very happy with it. Unfortunately I am having a little problem with it that I cant seem to figure out. I am using Silverstripe CMS and it uses a templating system that syntactically is basically just a mix of php and html. These files however end in .ss and therefore netbeans doesnt format and highlight them at all. How do I make netbeans format and highlight all .ss files just as if they where normal html files?     Hey Guys I am trying to remove all the relative image path slashes from a chunk of HTML that contains several other elements. For example <img src="../../../../images/upload/1/test.jpg /> would need to become <img src="http://s3.amazonaws.com/website/images/upload/1/test.jpg" /> I was thinking of writing this as a rails helper, and just passing the entire block into the method, and make using Nokogiri or Hpricot to parse the HTML instead, but I don't really know.     Hey stackoverflow community, I am looking for a Document Viewer application that I can embed in a Flash/Flex application that supports Microsoft Office documents as well as PDF. I have looked into print2flash as a possibility, but their automated converter executable requires access to the files and directories. Does anyone know of other alternatives which would have .NET/Java/Other libraries to convert these files to a SWF that can do it based on the download stream, as opposed to the actual files? Thanks!

    hey guys i have a porject where i have to be able to view my webcam on my mobile phone, which happens to be a blackberry bold 9700 but can also get a hold of an i pod touch so either phone is ok to use. the problem that i have is that everytime i do a search for help on this i end up with a program which enevitably asks for money and this is not allowd in the project, ive been trying to stream using vlc player and viewing it on the opera mini for blackberry but no such luck so far, any help would be great thanks a lot

    Hey all, I use MySQLdb a lot when dealing with my webserver. I often find myself repeating the lines: row = cursor.fetchone() while row: do_processing(row) row = cursor.fetchone() Somehow this strikes me as somewhat un-pythonic. Is there a better, one-line way to accomplish the same thing, along the lines of inline assignment in C: while (row = do_fetch()) { do_processing(row); } I've tried figuring out the syntax using list comprehensions, but I can't seem to figure it out.
