I guess i can change my code testdb but i would like to know. How do i have windows cmd use case sensitivity so i can execute queries properly instead of always in lower case? mysql.exe -u root -q "drop database TestDB; create database TestDB;"

  I have ubuntu 10.04 installed on my machine. I want to execute commands on remote windows xp machine ( I have username and password of admin account of remote machine ) so as to launch application like Internet Explorer, Notepad or some bat script. Is there any command line utility to do this via ubuntu? I tried rdesktop, winexe, ssh, telnet but they are not much of use. Can you please suggest some other way?

• Using a Cyc Image in Windows

  Hi, I am trying to use a Microtheory for a research project I am working on, and am having trouble getting my saved Image of constants I create to work correctly. I save the image after creating the constants using (write-image "world\MyImage") and then going to the \server\run\ directory and using run-cyc-32bit.bat -w "world\MyImage" It loads the server correctly, but not with my constants. I found the above command at the reference page here. Thank you for any help

  How do you distribute other files needed by your application that aren't in a jar file? For example, the application at http://www.javabeginner.com/java-swing/java-swing-shuffle-game . The download contains Shuffle.jar, Shuffle.bat, Score.dat, and an images folder with 3 images in it. I can see possibly putting the images directly in Shuffle.jar, but you wouldn't want to put Score.dat in the jar file because it changes.   When deploying an extension I follow various steps : copy to a temporary folder all the files, copy/paste back and forth the code to the on-line minifiers / obfuscators and create the zip to be uploaded. It's obvious that this could be simplified with scripting, but my experience on Windows scripting is very limited (most of my experience is server-side). Do I have to look back to the DOS .bat files like in the 90's or is there some cool tool or method I'm not aware?
