    hello, explain me please how exactly pipe works, for example I have this snippet of the code set line = ($<) while(${#line} != 0) if(${#line} == 5) then echo line | sort | ./calculate ${1} endif set line = ($<) end I need to choose all rows with 5 words and after sort it and after transfer, but I'm confused, how will it work, first of all 'while' will take all information and after that transfer it to sort, or every iteration 'while' will do sort? thanks in advance

    Hello, after reading through a couple similar Qs/As I haven't quite found the solution I'm looking for. The table data I have is GROUP BY DATE(timestamp) and returning a count, example result: [timestamp] = 2010-05-12 20:18:36 [count] = 10 [timestamp] = 2010-05-14 10:10:10 [count] = 8 Without using a temporary table, or calendar table is there a way to fill in those missing dates? so that with the same table data would return (adding the bold row): [timestamp] = 2010-05-12 20:18:36 [count] = 10 [timestamp] = 2010-05-13 00:00:00 [count] = 0 [timestamp] = 2010-05-14 10:10:10 [count] = 8 Thanks!

    Hello, i have the follow code: searchResults.SearchResultCollection.Add( new SearchResult() { Header = HttpUtility.HtmlDecode( htmlDocument.DocumentNode .SelectSingleNode(initialXPath + "h3") .InnerText), Link = HttpUtility.HtmlDecode( htmlDocument.DocumentNode .SelectSingleNode(initialXPath + "div/cite") .InnerText) } ); Sometimes htmlDocument.DocumentNode.SelectSingleNode(....) returns null and my application crashed with NullReferenceException. Ofcourse i can write code which check returned value on null reference but then code will be overly verbose. What is graceful way to do that?

I encountered the following C++ code: String source = String::New("'Hello' + ', World'"); As what I understand so far, this should be a call to static member function 'New' of class 'String'. But, I've searched through the whole header file defining 'String', there is not any static member named 'New' in the String class or its super classes. Is there any special meaning attached to String class or the New member function in C++?

    Trying a bit of AJAX, and I find that much of my data is littered with underscores! Documentation confirms that this is working as intended. Any way to pass my form information to PHP in tact? I'm using code igniter, so my pass looks like /controller/function/variable, receiving controller: controller{ function($v=0){#what once was hello world is now hello_world...} } I can't very well do an undo, data might contain an underscore. I need to program an application on a touchscreen (fullscreen), where people can fill in a survey. The only thing they should use is this program.     Hello all, I am having a look at this example which makes use of activeX - it does extacly what I need from the description but everytime I try to run the example, I get the error: Could not load Drivers. The ActiveX Control could not be started. I have tried this on IE8 on a windows Vista Machine. What is the problem, how can I get those drivers? This is my first time with ActiveX.
