  Hello, I am using Classic asp and SQL Server 2005. This is code that works (Provided by another member of Stack Overflow): sqlStr = "USE "&databaseNameRecordSet.Fields.Item("name")&";SELECT permission_name FROM fn_my_permissions(null, 'database')" This code checks what permissions I have on a given database - the problem being - if I dont have permission it throws an error and doesn't continue to draw the rest of my page. Now, i figure out that i have to write buddy class for every model or i have to go to designer generated code and put my annotations there (not a good idea though). if someone can suggest me a solution that helps me avoid writing those buddy classes and get the same functionality.   Hello, is there a conceptual difference between the terms "Channel" and "Stream"? Do the terms require/determine, for example, the allowed number of concurrent Consumers or Producers? I'm currently developing a Channel/Stream of DataFlowVariables, which may be written by one producer and read by one consumer as the implementation is destructive/mutable.   hello, I have a problem with sizes of divs - in Firefox everything is fine, but IE messes things up, I use only jquery show hide function which open div with other divs nested in it, you can see what I mean on www.custos.pl/v1 - by choosing any option on the bottom, a div opens up, where you have a submenu opening up jScrollPanes, the whole div should stay within the photo background, but in IE it goes vertically way beyond it, Id appreciate your help

Instead I get "Hi: not found", as if it is expecting the input to be a file. If I pass just a string instead of a variable, however, there is no problem. What would be the best way to approach this?
