    Using the asp.net file upload control is very easy, i'm trying to squeeze it into my site and the dam thing is very ugly!. Can I not change the browse button to an image of my choosing ? So far i'm failing to achieve this seemingly simple goal. Any ideas on this one ? Thanks

  • Extract new image dimensions from timthumb

    I'm using timthumb to resize my images because it scales them nicely if I only enter one of the dimensions. However I want to know if it's possible to extract the new resized image's dimensions so that I can add that dynamically to the img tag attributes. I tried this with no luck: $fullpath = '/lib/timthumb.php?src='.$image.'&w=100'; $my_image = array_values(getimagesize($fullpath)); list($width, $height, $type, $attr) = $my_image; Any ideas?

  • Silverlight 4 missing from VS 2010

    Hello, When I start a new Visual C# Silverlight project in the official release version (not the beta or the release candidate--the official release version) of Visual Studio 2010, I get only Silverlight 3 as an option in the Silverlight Version dropdown at the New Silverlight Application dialog box. I have installed SL 4, the SL4 tools for VS 2010, to no avail. I am running Windows XP SP3. Any ideas??? Thank you, Jon

    Hi, I was wondering if there is a less intrusive way to analyze a running, managed process in production environments. Less intrusive meaning: No delay of execution when attaching the debugger. No delay of execution when getting basic stats like running threads. In the Java world there is a such a tool part of the JDK. I was wondering if there're similar tools in the .NET world. Any ideas? The textarea is included to be checked by rsv validator using 'required', since the textarea is being converted to tinymce editor. When my application is coming up, the element host is taking few seconds and the winform is getting displayed as a blank screen. How to fix this? Any ideas are appreciated.     I can compile DLLs properly using mingw and do the exports/imports stuff. What I am looking for is defining the dll onload function properly as you would in MS VC products. Google didn't turn up anything. Anyone have any ideas or a link to a tutorial? It was suggested that this code snippet be added to the question: extern "C" DLL_EXPORT BOOL APIENTRY DllMain(HINSTANCE hinstDLL, DWORD Reason, LPVOID LPV) And yes, this is what I am trying to do, but with mingw.

    I need to implement a priority queue where the priority of an item in the queue can change and the queue adjusts itself so that items are always removed in the correct order. I have some ideas of how I could implement this but I'm sure this is quite a common data structure so I'm hoping I can use an implementation by someone smarter than me as a base.   • Error when pushing data to Heroku: time zone displacement out of range

    I run the following command to push the contents of my local database to Heroku: heroku db:push --app my-app and from my home computer it works flawlessly but from my work computer I get this error: Taps Server Error: PGError: ERROR: time zone displacement out of range: "2011-11-15 12:00:00.000000+5894114400" I'm not sure where that date is coming from, I can't find it in the data anywhere. Any ideas what's going on and/or how to fix it? Thanks.
