• Print/save full webpage as PDF

  I need a method to be able to print/save the current full webpage as a PDF. I know it can be done if I download a PDF printer and print to that; but I need it to be done without the user having to do anything other than click a button in a webpage. I can't do it via PHP as the page is all client side content, so I'm guessing an ActiveX component? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks

  Hello guys, I have an ajax form that saves a object in the database then return a Message like this: return Json(new {Message = "Message!"}, JsonRequestBehavior.AllowGet); We are ok here, but I don't know HOW I'll get this result in the view to display in a jQuery modal. • Using redirect_to to :create action

  I am trying to redirect to the create method of another controller. However, I can't find a way to set the method to POST. This results in the index method to be called. Using :method => :post just creates a new parameter, but doesn't change the http method. Any ideas how to redirect to the create method?

• how could I store data within a GUID

  I have an application that I want to represent a users session (just small pieces of data here and there) within a GUID. Its a 16 HEX characters (so 16^16 possible values) string and I want to 'encode' some data within that GUID. How can I achieve this? I am really after any ideas and implementations here, Ive not yet decided on the best mechanism for it yet. I would also like encryption to be involved if possible... Thanks a lot Mark

WAS HOPING FOR: /Customers?filter=Tag like 'Friendly' PROBLEM: ADO.NET does not have a LIKE operator. ADO.NET does not seem to like FTS (It is not finding a match - because it is not parsing through the CSV's) Any ideas how to make this work? THX

  Hi, Im getting a strange syntax error when I run this in VB SQLString = "UPDATE Login SET Password = '" + PasswordTextBox.Text + "'" SQLString += " WHERE UserName = '" + UserNameTextBox.Text + "'" The Username is checked before getting to this part and is definitly in the db. It gives an exception saying syntax error in update statement. Anyone have any ideas whats wrong?

• mouse wheel operates on scrollbar

  If a SWF file or even a component within it has scrollbars, wouldn't it make sense that if the user is hovered over that area (it's in focus) and uses the mouse wheel, that this movement would automatically translate to the scrollbar moving. Any ideas how this is done, the events or classes used for this? I'm open to outside components or classes too. I haven't started yet, but I'll do an item renderer because it's easy to give it scrollbar.

The Problem is that i want this Server to move itself to the background (deamonize itself). • Is it possible to programmatically edit a sound file based on frequency?

  Just wondering if it's possible to go through a flac, mp3, wav, etc file and edit portions, or the entire file by removing sections based on a specific frequency range? So for example, I have a recording of a friend reciting a poem with a few percussion instruments in the background. Could I write a C program that goes through the entire file and cuts out everything except the vocals (human voice frequency ranges from 85-255 Hz, from what I've been reading)? I'd like to effectively have: <Grid> <Line StrokeThickness="1" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" VerticalAlignment="Bottom" Stroke="Red"/> </Grid> I need to use StrokeDashArray and StrokeDashOffset, otherwise I would just use a Border control with the BorderThickness set to "0,0,0,1"...   I have the following compiled query that I want to return a list of "groups" that don't have a "GroupID" that's contained in a filtered list: CompiledQuery.Compile(ConfigEntities contexty, List list) = from c in context.Groups where (!csList.Contains(c.GroupID)) select c).ToList() However I'm getting the following run-time error: The specified parameter 'categories' of type 'System.Collections.Generic.List`1[[System.Int32, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c261364e126]]' is not valid. Only scalar parameters (such as Int32, Decimal, and Guid) are supported. Any ideas?

It actually doubles it right now. I realize that I can embed this on a function by function basis, but that is not desired as I would like a global solution for memoizing. Any ideas?

I have done similar requests simply using response = urllib2.urlopen('http://search.twitter.com...') but for this one I need authentication.
