What to use to check html links in large project, on Linux?

I have directory with 1000 .html files, and would like to check all of them for bad links - preferably using console. Any tool you can recommend for such task?

I noticed the code looks like absolute bollocks (is the the correct usage? Im not a brit) and would like some feedback on optimizing it, mostly for reuse and readability. In SublimeText(2), when you press [ctrl + shift + p] (mac osx) you are shown a scope of where your caret/cursor is in the source code at the given moment e.g.: entity.name.tag.inline.any.html meta.tag.inline.any.html text.html.basic I am curious about what library or script is used to parse the document/file and create that scope string. Hi, am 100% sure I downloaded and extracted version 1.8 of ZF, but then when I go to console and typed "zf show version" it says am using 1.9.6, yes I do have 1.9.6 but it is "Compressed" and untouched, how could this be possible ?, I double checked my system variables, there's no evidence of ZF there.
