  • Forms blank when rendering a partial when using a collection of objects. Help!

    Alright, I know my title is a little obscure but it best describes the problem I am having. Essentially, I have a list of users, and want to be able to edit their information in-line using AJAX. Since the users are showing up in rows, I am using a partial to render the data and the forms (which will be hidden initially by the ajax), however, when the rows are rendered currently only the last item has it's form's fields populated. I suspect this has something to do with the fact that all the form fields have the same id's and it is confusing the DOM. But I don't know how to make sure the id's are unique. Here is a small example: In my view: <%= render :partial => 'shared/user', :collection => @users %> My partial (broke down to just the form) note that I am using the local variable "user" <% form_for user, :html => {:multipart => true} do |f| -%> <%= f.label :name, "Name*" %> <%= f.text_field :title, :class => "input" %> <%= f.label :Address, "Address" %> <%= f.text_field :address, :class => "input" %> <%= f.label :description, "Description*" %> <%= f.text_area :description, :class => "input" %> <% end -%> When the html is rendered each form has a unique id (for the id of the user) but the elements themselves all have the same id, and only the last user form is actually getting populated with values.   • Having trouble with php and ajax search function

    I am still quite new to php/ajax/mysql. In anycase, I'm creating a search function which is returning properly the data I'm looking for. In brief, I have a mysql database set up. A php website that has a search function. I'm now trying to add a link to a mysql database search rather than just showing the results. In my search.php, the echo line is working fine but the $string .= is not returning anything. I'm just trying to get the same as the echo but with the link to the mysql php record.     In Wordpress, I'm looking for some way to add a "last" and a "first" class to list items inside Wordpress widgets.     I have a list of Filters that are passed into a webservice and I iterate over the collection and do Linq query and then add to the list of products but when I do a GroupBy and Distinct() it doesn't remove the duplicates. I am using a IEnumerable because when you use Disinct it converts it to IEnumerable. If you know how to construct this better and make my function return a type of List<Product> that would be appreciated thanks.     I'm new to PHP =) Right now I am using PHP includes for my site template. I have my header, containing all my <head></head> info. What I want to do is write a code that will take the contents of the <h1></h1> tag from the page, and echo it into the <title></title> tag in my header.php include. I got the PHP Simple HTML DOM Parser from here: http://simplehtmldom.sourceforge.net/, and I found a code (I forget where in all my googling) that goes like this: <?php $url = (!empty($_SERVER['HTTPS'])) ?   • Can I create a Google calendar for a user in a hosted domain using the admin credentials

    I use the admin credentials for all of my interactions with the google api and I can retrieve\create\update\delete events from and for all of my hosted domain users. However, when I go to create a calendar for a hosted domain user, the calendar is created in the admins space. In the example below the GoogleUserName does NOT match the GoogleAccount. The postUri would look similar to : http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/[email protected]/owncalendars/full and the GoogleUserName is [email protected]. The api creates a calendar but it is in the admins space. CalendarService service = new CalendarService("Test"); service.setUserCredentials(GoogleUserName, GooglePassword); CalendarEntry calendar = new CalendarEntry(); calendar.TimeZone = "America/Chicago"; calendar.Title.Text = Title; calendar.Summary.Text = Description; calendar.Color = Color; calendar.Selected = true; calendar.Hidden = false; Uri postUri = new Uri(String.Format("http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/{0}/owncalendars/full", GoogleAccount)); CalendarEntry createdCalendar = (CalendarEntry)service.Insert(postUri, calendar); The documentation does specify to use the users credentials however the documentation is not specific to hosted domains a great deal of the time and as such I am always attempting trial and error when trying interactions. That I can use all of the CRUD on the user's events themselves using the admin credentials leaves me to believe that it might be possible.

    HI, I upload my php testing script to online vps server just now. The script used to parse a big size XML file(about 4M, 7000Lines). But my IE explorer show the online error message below. Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 77 bytes) in /var/www/test/result/index.php on line 26 I am sure I already tested the php script on localhost successfully. Is there any configuration need be enable/modify on my VPS? Such as php.ini or some setting for apache server? I just verified there are about 200M memory usage are avaliable for my VPS.     I am trying to create a simple Icon+Text ListView but it does not work. I am using 2.1 Android SDK. My main class is very small slightly modified from the tutorial: public class Stuffs extends ListActivity { static final String[] COUNTRIES = new String[] {"A", "B","C"}; /** Called when the activity is first created. */ @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setListAdapter(new ArrayAdapter<String>(this, R.layout.list_item, R.id.title, COUNTRIES)); } } and my list_item.xml file is this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:orientation = "horizontal"> <ImageView android:id = "@+id/icon" android:src="@drawable/icon" /> <TextView android:id = "@+id/title" android:padding="10dp" android:textSize="16sp" > </TextView> </LinearLayout> I have also created a "drawable" directory in my res directory and copied a "icon.png" into it. But any time I try to run this the application hangs up unexpected in my android emulator. Am I missing something?
