  • CollapsiblePanelExtender does not work with CollapsedSize="0"

    This "CollapsiblePanelExtender" works ok only if I use CollapsedSize="1". When using CollapsedSize="0" it collapses but does not show when clicked...   • Update of application Icon in Windows-7 Taskbar

    I have a normal MFC Application with an embedded icon. If I start the application, the icon is shown inside the windows-7 taskbar. But when I change the icon inside the resources, rebuild the application and start it, the taskbar doesn't show the current icon, but the icon from the first run. There is no special code inside the application that does something specific with the windows-7 taskbar. Is there a way, (in C++) to tell the windows-7 taskbar to show the current icon?

  • HTML Form input textbox not accepting special characters

    Hello, There seems to be a problem, where i can't display the complete value in a html form text input box. When I echo $ title, I get output as "Stacey's Mom" This is the html code I used to show the value. -- This returns the value in textbox as "Stacey". Samething happens when "," or "'" or "/" occurs in the text. How can I show the entire text in the textbox. Help would be much appreciated.

  • Rails page caching and flash messages

    I'm pretty sure I can page cache the vast majority of my site but the one thing preventing me from doing so is that my flash messages will not show, or they'll show at the wrong time. One thing I'm considering is writing the flash message to a cookie, reading it and displaying it via javascript and clearing the cookie once the message has been displayed. Has anyone had any success doing this or are there better methods? Thanks.

    I am so frustrated right now after several hours trying to find where shared_ptr is located. None of the examples I see show complete code to include the headers for shared_ptr (and working). Simply stating "std" "tr1" and "" is not helping at all! I have downloaded boosts and all but still it doesn't show up! Can someone help me by telling exactly where to find it?     I am using the calender module with it's iCal support for Drupal 6. I have made my event type which appear on the iCal feed. I however want to make the event content type private, so only authenticated users can read it. By doing this they will not show on the iCal feed. Is there any way that I could get the iCal feed to still show these events?

  • Is there a way to get photo tags and new friendship type events by querying the FQL stream table?

    When you look at your stream on the Facebook website, events such as "FriendX was tagged in an album", "FriendY is attending EventZ", and "FriendK and FriendL are now friends". I've tried various "vague" queries on the stream table, and so far I have been unable to get these types of events. Is this possible, or do I need to query the all of the other tables and write a ton of logic to try to figure out which new events to show and how to show them?

    I am trying to create a very simple Swing UI that logs information onto the screen via a JTextArea as processing occurs in the background. When the user clicks a button, I want each call to: textArea.append(someString + "\n"); to immediately show up in the UI. At the moment, the JTextArea does not show all log information until the processing has completed after clicking the button. How can I get it to refresh dynamically?

    We use self signed certificates on our intranet. What do I need to do to get IE8 to accept them without showing an error message to the user? What we did for IE7 apparently isn't working. EDIT: IE7 wouldn't show any errors if I put the certificate into trusted root certification authorities. IE8 seems to show errors even with the certificate there.

    In Netbeans or in Eclipse, you can use "Find Usages" or "References" from the right click context menu. If a() calls b(), using the functionality from b() will show you a(). However, what I want is to be able to see some kind of tree or have an option to see all usages of a given/class or method, such that if z() calls a() that using the functionality will show both z() and a(). Any IDE plugins or external tools that can do this?

I am using Google maps to show the location to allow full use of the maps app. I am using the intent call and placing the co-ordinates in the q=xxxxxxxxx,xxxxxxxxx part. This works, however when Google maps shows the location it often finds a point on the road, sometimes a little distance from the actual co-ordinates. Is there a way to get maps to show the actual point?
