  Hi, I have a WPF application and a worker thread. The worker thread invokes a callback on the UI thread, which opens a new dialog. Works fine on Win7, but on XP it will crash. In worker thread: someWpfDialogInstance.Dispatcher.BeginInvoke(openSomeDialogCallback, null); Does someone knows a solution or a workaround for this problem?

Someone mentioned the idea of invalidating the control to force the application to redraw it and thus iterate through the contents and populate the control with the new data.   I am new to programming PHP and am trying to validate a field in a form. The field if for a RAL color code and so would look something like : RAL 1001. so the letters RAL and then 4 numbers.   I want to encrypt the connection string in web.config, the problem is each time a developer changes the connection string in web.config and publishes, it needs to be encrypted every time in the web server. Is there any way that the connection string can encrypted automatically every time someone publishes it? Note :- All of us work on our local machines other than the server. So encryption using local machine key is not an option.

  Hi, I have created a standalone XUL application, and I copied "NPSWF32.dll"(flash plugin dll) to the "plugins" folder under the browser. When I launch the application, flash content is not getting displayed. If I set the MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH to the "plugins" directory before launching the application, everything is working as expected. Could someone tell me, what I needs to do in order to load the flash plugin automatically from the "plugins" folder. Thanks, Rajeesh

I have built net-snmp with python support, but it's not clear yet how to actually implement my own MIB module with python now. The python scripts i see in the python directory are related to implementing an snmp client, not an snmp agent. Probably i just miss the point somewhere.   Hi; I'm trying to create a multi-sheet excel document, and thus far I'd been doing it in PHP - but using PHPExcel was eating up 70MB of RAM for about 60,000 spreadsheet cells total. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with Spreadsheet::WriteExcel and if it has problems with creating very large documents. I'd just give it a shot but I'm very inexperienced with Perl and it could take me quite a bit of time to get this up and rolling even if for a test, and I thought someone here might have insight for me.
