• ASP.NET MVC - Where do you put your .js files if you dont want to store them in /Scripts?

  I have a number of .js files that I would like to be stored in the same directories as their views (they're specific to a view - its simply to keep the javascript separate from the view's HTML) However, adding them to the /Views/ControllerName/ directory wont work because when a request is made to the webserver for the .js file: <script type="text/javascript" src="/Views/ControllerName/myscript.js"></script> It would essentially be directed at the 'Views' controller which obviously doesnt exist. I'm executing the batch file from a WiX installer, via a custom action. I tried adding an @ECHO OFF to the top of the file, but that didn't seem to do anything. Is there a way that I can run this batch file silently?

• Prevent ListBox scrolling to top when updated

  I'm trying to build a simple music player with a ListBox playlist. When adding audio files to the playlist, it first fills the ListBox with the filenames and then (on a separate thread) extracts the ID3 data and overwrites the filenames with the correct Artist - Title information (much like Winamp). But while the ListBox is being updated, it's unscrollable, as it always jumps to the top on every item overwrite. Any way to prevent this?

• How do I calculate the average direction of two vectors

  Hi, I am writing and opengl based iphone app and would like to allow a user to translate around a view based on the direction that they move two fingers on the screen. For one finger I know I could just calculate the vector from the start position to the current position of the users finger and then find the unit vector of this to get just the direction, but I don't know how I would do this for two fingers, I don't think adding the components of the vectors and calculating the average would work so I'm pretty much stuck... thanks in advance

• GCommit doesn't work with fugitive.vim under windows xp?

  I've just discovered fugitive.vim, which is pretty cool. However, I've run into a problem (this is using windows xp, msys git 1.7, fugitive.vim 1.1, and gvim 7.2). Adding files to the index and checking the status works just fine, but when I do a :GCommit, a command prompt flashes for a second and nothing happens. No way to type a commit message and nothing is committed. Is this a bug? Am I doing something wrong?
