• unittest import error with virtualenv + google-app-engine-django

  I'm working with google-app-engine-django + zipped django. Just running "python manage.py test" succeeded without error. But with virtualenv, test was failed with "import unittest error". same error with Django 1.1. - OSX 10.5.6 - google-app-engine-django (r101 via svn) : r100 was failed with launcher 1.3.0 - GoogleAppLauncher 1.3.0 - • Jboss logging issue

  Our application is deployed on JBoss As 4.0x and we face some issues with JBoss logging. Whenever the server is restarted, JBoss stops logging, and there is no update in server.log. After that it is not updating the log file. Then we do touch cmd on log4j.xml, so that it creates the log files again. Please help me in fixing the issue we cant do touch everytime. We face this issue in both the nodes. I could not figure where the problem is? If any other issues, we can check the log files. If log itself is not getting updated/logged, how can we move further in analyzing the issues without the recent/updated logs?   Hi, I have been trying to get an application written in django working - but it is not working at all. I have been working on for some time too - and it is working on dev-server perfectly. But I am unable to put in the production env (apahce). My project name is apstat and the app name is basic. • Getting RINGING response on SIP UAC without sending it from the other UAC

• RegLoadAppKey working fine on 32-bit OS, failing on 64-bit OS, even if both processes are 32-bit

  I'm using .NET 4 and the new RegistryKey.FromHandle call so I can take the hKey I get from opening a registry file with RegLoadAppKey and operate on it with the existing managed API. I thought at first it was just a matter of a busted DllImport and my call had an invalid type in the params or a missing MarshalAs or whatever, but looking at other registry functions and their DllImport declarations (for instance, on pinvoke.net), I don't see what else to try (I've had hKey returned as both int and IntPtr, both worked on 32-bit OS and fail on 64-bit OS) I've got it down to as simple a repro case as I can - it just tries to create a 'random' subkey then write a value to it. It works fine on my Win7 x86 box and fails on Win7 x64 and 2008 R2 x64, even when it's still a 32-bit process, even run from a 32-bit cmd prompt. • UI android question/problem with Listview

  Hi, I'm trying to recreate the UI screen called 'My Places' that is used in the Weather Channel app. I'd attach a screenshot of the screen, but I can't seem to do it here. It seems they're using two listviews one on top of the other, but I'm not sure for certain. Could anybody confirm this for me? If they are doing this, how is this done? I've tried to implement this, but without full success. My top listview 'Add a place' 'comes up correctly, but the bottom listview will not appear/populate for me? I shall attach my code so far...... • ListView items not responding to tap

  I'm just getting my feet wet with Android and have built a UI that contains a TabHost with three tabs. Each tab is powered by its own Activity. The first Tab contains a listview with a prepopulated set of rows and is built from a custom ArrayAdapter. The problem I'm running into is that none of the ListView rows are tappable. In other words, when I tap on them there is no orange selection. If I use the scroll ball on my Nexus One it will select, but any touch gestures don't seem to be responding.   In my application, after enough clicking around, I get this error: 06-08 19:47:59.967: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(2429): java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to pause activity {com.MYAPP.app/com.MYAPP.app.MainActivity}: android.database.StaleDataException: Access closed cursor What I have is a Tab Activity (my MainActivity), which has a ListActivity as the contents for each tab. Inside the onCreate for each ListActivity I get a cursor that represents the data to be displayed in that list. The onListItemClick for each list also creates another activity, so clicking on an item in the list will show more information about that item in a new screen. It's inconsistent, but after enough clicking into these new activities, or going back to the ListView from a new activity, the program crashes. In searching around for a solution to my problem, I did stumble upon registerDataSetObserver, but it doesn't seem to be the whole answer. I am also having trouble finding documentation on it, so I'm not sure I fully understand it. I have a custom ListAdapter that both my ListViews use and have called registerDataSetObservers on the cursors there. I have attached the relevant code from one of my ListActivities and from my custom ListAdapter class. The ListActivity. • Nightmare: Upgrading Tomcat 5.5 to 6.0

  I'm trying to upgrade a perfectly running embedded Tomcat 5.5 to Tomcat 6.0. I understand that all I need to do is replace Tomcat 5.5 jars with 6.0. That's what I did. In the log I could see that it is trying to check for Servlet.class in each and every jar it is loading until it finds servlet-api.jar and throws "jar not loaded" message as soon as it finds servlet-api.jar. • UIView, UIScrollView and UITextFields problem calling Method

  I have a view with several embedded UITextFields, this UIView is subordinated to a UIScrollView in IB. Each text field is supposed to invoke a method called updateText defined in the viewcontroller implementation file when the user is done editing the field. For some reason, the method updateText never gets invoked. Anyone have any ideas how to go about fixing this? The method fired off just fine when the UIScrollView was not present in the project but the keyboard would cover the text fields during input, which was annoying. Now my textfields move up above the keyboard when it appears, but won't fire off the method when done editing. • Issue getting camera emulation to work with Tom G's HttpCamera

  I am trying to use the android emulator to preview video from webcam. I have used the tom gibara sample code, minus the webbroadcaster (i am instead using VLC streaming via http). So, I have modified the SDK's "CameraPreview" app to use the HttpCamera, but the stream never appears. Debugging through doesn't give me any clues either. I wonder if anything obvious is clear to others? The preview app launches and remains black. In the article it states that you need to annotate a Spring bean with @Transactional and methods/fields with @PersistenceContext in order to provide transaction support and to inject an entity manager. Is there something the defines a bean as a "Spring Bean"? Then I annotated the methods as well, but em is still null (no injection?). I was wondering if this had something to do with my bean not being recognized as "Spring".
