  • iphone - getting the button id in a segmented control

    I am trying to create something that uses the idea of the UIPopOverController, I mean, have that speech bubble anchor pointing to the button who triggered the method. The problem is that I am using a UISegmentedControl... How do I get the id of the button that was tapped on a UISegmentedControl, so I can determine its position and generate the anchor? thanks for any help.

    Hi, I am using JBOSS 4.2.2 server to deploy multiple web applications. Each application uses Hibernate and for each application there are saperate log files and saparate appendar. Now for Hibernate logging statements of one application should go in log file of that particular application. Does anybody has idea how to configure log4j.xml file to achieve this?   • Why does 7zip Ignore my InstallPath when making a SFX installer?

    Currently, I am making a SFX with 7zip using the following config: ;!@Install@!UTF-8! InstallPath="C:\\test" GUIMode="2" RunProgram="7z465.exe" ;!@InstallEnd@! Which is used in: copy /b "C:\Program Files\7-Zip\7zSD.sfx" + config.txt + ".\Release\Setup.7z" .\Release\Setup.exe When I run the resulting Setup.exe, It extracts fine and launches the 7z465.exe as well, but it is still extracting to some 7zip temp folder for the current user! Anyone have any idea why?

  • OpenAL tone generation on iPhone

    So I have been looking around for some time now on a way to produce a variable tone on the iPhone using OpenAL, the issue being the Apple has deprecated the ALUT part of OpenAL that has the alutCreateBufferWaveform that would be perfect for this. I was wondering if anyone had any idea how to make a tone generator using OpenAL on the iPhone SDK. All I need is the ability to produce a certain frequency tone consistantly over and over again. This is a last resort so sorry if it sounds kind of stupid.

  • What’s the strategy to recover data during DAO unit test?

    When I test DAO module in JUnit, an obvious problem is: how to recover testing data in database? For instance, a record should be deleted in both test methods testA() and testB(), that means precondition of both test methods need an existing record to be deleted. Then my strategy is inserting the record in setUp() method to recover data. What’s your better solution? Or your practical idea in such case? Thanks

    I am querying Google Base using the .NET library pretty much as described on this page. http://code.google.com/apis/base/docs/2.0/developers_guide_dotnet.html When I run the query a GBaseFeed is returned and it will usually have the TotalRecords property set to something like 35, but in the Entries collection it will often have no items or very few items. Other times the query returns all 35 items as expected in the Entries. Has anyone seen this behaviour or have any idea what could cause it?

    When I list virtual disks within diskpart: DISKPART> list vdisk VDisk ### Disk ### State Type File --------- -------- -------------------- --------- ---- VDisk 0 Disk 2 Attached not open Fixed C:\Disk.vhd Interesting part for me here is file name. I tried to find equivalent of function that would give me file name (under File column) if I know disk number. Any idea which function that might be?

A client of mine has related to me an idea for an iPhone app that requires OpenGL ES 2.0 for it's inherently complex 3D structure and animations.     I am drawing on a canvas with the following line: ctx.drawImage(compositeImage, 0, 0, image.width, image.height, i, j, scaledCompositeImageWidth, scaledCompositeImageHeight); This code has executed error free on Safari, Chrome, Firefox (and even IE using google's excanvas library). However, a recent update to Chrome now throws the following error: Uncaught Error: INDEX_SIZE_ERR: DOM Exception 1 This code often positions part or all of the drawn image OFF the canvas, anyone got any idea what's going on here?

Ruby 1.8.7, Rails Enterprise Edition 2.3.5, Ubuntu 9.10 32bit. Does anybody have an idea how to fix this?

    I need to set "lower_case_table_names", but I don't have any idea where to start. I'm using XAMPP and I don't know where to look for the file or that the exact name of the file is. One source said my.cnf another said my.conf, but neither of those files exist on my drive. Is it possible I need to create such a file? And if so, what folder must I put it in for the settings to take?
