• Change namespace Prefix WCF Envelope

  I was wondering is there anyway to change the namespace prefix for the WCF SOAP request? As you can see in the example below, The Envelope has namespace "http://www.w3.org/2005/08/addressing" with prefix 'a'. I want to change this to 'foo'. How can I do that. • sermyadmin 2.01

  I am able to install sermyadmin 2.0.1 and got everything working. Only user registration is not working. When I register a user the entry goe sin DB etc find but the email is not send to the user. We are using our own smtp server with no authentication. And I am sure there is nothing wrong with the smtp server. I can see that it has received a request from sermyadmin but in the logs Is ee that the FROM adddress is missing. So it is throwing 553 5.1.8 Domain of sender address does not exist. The domain does exist. Here is my resources.xml with all the valid entries.   hi, i have developed my webservice in java-cxf which returns java.util.List. This webservice is password enabled. that means i have used org.apache.cxf.ws.security.wss4j.WSS4JInInterceptor for security purpose. Now i want to call this webservice from php. but i am not able to do so. • XML Schema Migration

  I am working on a project where we need to save data in an XML format. The problem is, over time we expect the format / schema for our data to change. What we want to be able to do is to produce scripts to migrate our data across different schema versions. We distribute our product to thousands of customers so we need to be able to run / apply these scripts at customer sites (so we can't just do the conversions by hand). I think that what we are looking for is some kind of XML data migration tool. In my mind the ideal tool could: Do an "XML diff" of two schema to identify added/deleted/changed nodes. Allow us to specify transformation functions. So, for example, we might add a new element to our schema that is a function of the old elements. (E.g. a new element C where C = A+B, A + B are old elements). So I think I am looking for a kind of XML diff and patch tool which can also apply transformation functions. One tool I am looking at for this is Altova's MapForce . I'm sure others here have had to deal with XML data format migration. How did you handle it? Edit: One point of clarification. The "diff" I plan to do is on the schema or .xsd files. The actual changes will be made to particular data sets that follow a given schema. These data sets will be .xml files. So its a "diff" of the schema to help figure out what changes need to be made to data sets to migrate them from one scheme to another.

• Is there any better IDOMImplementation other than MSXML?

  There are 3 IDOMImplementation available in Delphi: MSXML Xerces XML ADOM XML v4 MSXML is the default IDOMImplementation. My test is count the time need to load a 10MB xml file. I use a Delphi unit generated from a XSD using XML data binding to load the xml file. This unit has 3 common function: function Getmenubar(Doc: IXMLDocument): IXMLMenubarType; function Loadmenubar(const FileName: WideString): IXMLMenubarType; function Newmenubar: IXMLMenubarType; I learn from the web that some comment that MSXML's overhead is high that it doesn't perform if compare to other XML parser. However, my study shows that MSXML is the best among others. Xerces XML 2nd and ADOM XML v4 the worst: MSXML - 0.6410 seconds Xerces XML - 2.4220 seconds ADOM XML v4 - 67.50 seconds I also come across with OmniXML that claim to have much better performance compare to MSXML but I never success using it with the unit generated by XML data binding. Is there any other vendor that implement IDOMImplementation of Delphi that work much better than MSXML? I am using Delphi 2010 and Windows 7.

When compiling this, there is a runtime error which says "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." highlighting the foreach line. I can't understand, why the environment has become irritable to this humble,innocent and useless piece of code. I would also like to know, does HTMLAgilityPack accept HTML classes as nodes?

• How is Entity Framework 4's POCO support compared to NHibernate?

  Just wondering if anyone has had any experience using Entity Framework 4's POCO support and how it stands up compared to NHibernate. If they're the same, I'd be very interested in making Entity Framework 4 my ORM of choice if only because it would: Support both data first AND object first development Have a robust LINQ provider Be easier to pitch to clients (since it's developed by Microsoft) Come baked into the .NET framework rather than requiring 8 dlls to get up and running In other words, are there any major shortcomings to EF4? Does it support all of the basic functionality NHibernate supports (lazy-loading, eager-loading, 1st level caching, etc.) or is it still rough around the edges? Is the syntax for setting up the mappings as easy as NHibernate and/or Fluent NHibernate? Edit: Please don't bring up the vote of no confidence. That was ages ago and dealt with some serious shortcomings of EF1 that really don't seem to apply anymore to EF4.

• svcutil, WSDL, and the generated interfaces not being sufficient for implementation

  I have a WSDL file defining a service that I have to implement in WCF. I had read that I could generate the proxy using svcutil from the WSDL file, and that I could then use the generated interfaces to implement the service. Unfortunately, I can't quite seem to find a way to have the interfaces contain the correct attributes to expose the contracts. All operations have the "OperationContractAttribute" attribute, but it appears as though for the service to be exposed, I require the "OperationContract" for each one. Same thing with "ServiceContractAttribute" and "ServiceContract", and I imagine DataContract, but I haven't gotten that far. I could manually make these changes, but I would much prefer a technique where the existing code could be easily used, or better code could be generated for my uses. Is there some way that this can be done? Thanks. • persistence.xml ignores Hibernate and chooses DataNucleus

  Hi, I'm toying around with GWT (dunno if this matters) and Hibernate. • Visual studio 2008/2010 dilemma

  We have a project which is being developed by a 3rd party. They are using LINQ and .NET 3.5 with Visual Studio 2008. We are currently at 2005 with .NET 2. Once they have delivered the code to us, we are unsure as to whether we will be able to compile/build their code using our current Visual Studio toolkit. I know we can download .NET 3.5, but unsure as to whether we will have problems with Visual Studio. So we are considering to upgrade. But since Visual Studio 2010 is soon to be released do we wait for that or upgrade to 2008?

• Proper use of HTTP status codes in a "validation" server

  Among the data my application sends to a third-party SOA server are complex XMLs. The server owner does provide the XML schemas (.xsd) and, since the server rejects invalid XMLs with a meaningless message, I need to validate them locally before sending. I could use a stand-alone XML schema validator but they are slow, mainly because of the time required to parse the schema files. So I wrote my own schema validator (in Java, if that matters) in the form of an HTTP Server which caches the already parsed schemas. The problem is: many things can go wrong in the course of the validation process. Other than unexpected exceptions and successful validation: the server may not find the schema file specified the file specified may not be a valid schema file the XML is invalid against the schema file Since it's an HTTP Server I'd like to provide the client with meaningful status codes. Should the server answer with a 400 error (Bad request) for all the above cases? Or they have nothing to do with HTTP and it should answer 200 with a message in the body? Any other suggestion? Update: the main application is written in Ruby, which doesn't have a good xml schema validation library, so a separate validation server is not over-engineering.

But the problem i have is, with this detailsview which is unbound, i have no column at design time to convert to a template, and yet i want to access its cell values. help is appreciated.

  in server.xml I've defined global resource (I'm using Tomcat 6): <GlobalNamingResources> <Resource name="jdbc/myds" auth="Container" type="javax.sql.DataSource" maxActive="10" maxIdle="3" maxWait="10000" username="sa" password="" driverClassName="org.h2.Driver" url="jdbc:h2:~/.myds/data/db" /> </GlobalNamingResources> I see in catalina.out that this is bound, so I suppose it's OK. • Issue parsing RSS xml

  Hello, I'm having an issue using Linq to XML parsing the following XML. What I am doing is getting the element checking if it's what I want, then moving to the next. I am pretty sure it has to do with the xmlns, but I need this code to work with both this style and normal style RSS feeds (no xmlns).   hi, I just started working with ASP.Net MVC 2. I created a new ASP.Net MVC application and created one vehicle controler with a database table connected with LINQ. Then created forms authentication mechanism for the application and tried to use the uri instead of cookies it was working smoothly but when i submit the form by creating a "Create" view from the controler using the utility it just dont work. The autherization got failed and asking to enter the user name and password again.I had created the authorization mechanism by adding Authorise attribute to the Controller so as to get authorized for all the actions. namespace MVCNEW.Controllers { [Authorize] public class VehicleController : Controller { But if i use the cookies instead of uri it works fine. • converting JSON to an object / dictionary / dynamic

  I'm currently using jqGrid to display data. Part of jqGrid's interface will give you search options, posting back the search details in a JSON string, for example: {"groupOp":"AND","rules":[{"field":"PersonID","op":"eq","data":"123"},{"field":"LastName","op":"eq","data":"Smith"}]} (meaning i'm searching for personID = 123, and LastName = 'Smith') so what i'm hoping to do is somehow convert that back into something i can use server-side. Does anyone have a solution for this that may convert it back into an object of some kind? My current solution would be to convert into xml, parse with linq and create instances of my own 'search' class with a 'rules' collection.
