    I have some DVD video discs that I am intending to sell. I would like to get information such as region, language, subtitles. Some of the discs are in another language which I cannot read, and some are from small publishers and do not have such information on the disc or the boxes. What methods can I use to access this information? Please list command line options, as well as common GUI based tools (eg VLC player).

    When I try to run something with wine, nothing happens! I have many had problems with Ubuntu so I have tried to get Windows 8 back on the computer, but because Ubuntu can't run exe files I can't open the installer. Furthermore my computer can't boot from a CD/DVD anymore after I installed Ubuntu, it turns up with a black screen with a blinking marker at the upper left corner of the screen and after 10 minutes it says something like Can't boot from the selected media device - select another How do I get Windows back?

  • Ubuntu Won't Install On Custom Build

    just built my first computer, trying to install Ubuntu, when I tell my BIOS to startup from disk drive it says "Please insert boot media into boot device" so I insert my burned disc and my computer thinks for a few seconds and then prompts me again. Any idea why? Tried multiple times, burned two discs, I have even confirmed that my build works by swapping hard drives with the computer I'm currently using to post this, so I'm kinda out of answers right now and hoping you guys can help me find something I've done wrong, thanks in advance for any help.

    Writing my game in libgdx, i arrived at the point when i need to save the player stats and the info of the levels, but in libgdx its not allowed to write the file inside folder of the application, only external (in the sd) is allowed, well, the point is that i want that my new file cat be seen by anyone, or if they see it how can i pass it to a binary file, so no one can see it. I just want to hide the file :P

    All works pretty good, I remember I didn't nothing unusual,just I installed a especific flash plugin to nuvola player, I can ear the sound with my headphones, but I can't I hear sound from the speakers. When I put in the terminal pulseaudio appears crash when trying to start the daemon I leave screenshot and in the System configuration in output play sound through is empty, in the past there appears 4 options I need reinstall pulseaudio??? Below is an example scenario. The ground (BSP Brush) is covered in a stone material The player hits a trigger. A new "moss" material is applied to the brush, removing the old stone material. All of these have the same content, and this image says what has happend to the site since we changed the linking system.

    Hi I've just started using Ubuntu 12.10 (today!) my first time with any non-windows OS. I wanted to retrieve some files after windows stopped working. I boot Ubuntu from a USB and it seems to work fine - I can access the internet etc. But I can't access any of my drives or even a USB drive.
