  • How can fill a variable of my own created data type within Oracle PL/SQL?

    In Oracle I've created a data type: TABLE of VARCHAR2(200) I want to have a variable of this type within a Stored Procedure (defined locally, not as an actual table in the DB) and fill it with data. Some online samples show how I'd use my type if it was filled and passed as a parameter to the stored procedure: SELECT column_value currVal FROM table(pMyPassedParameter) However what I want is to fill it during the PL/SQL code itself, with INSERT statements. Anyone knows the syntax of this?

    Currently working through a Teach Yourself WPF tutorial. Usually I can mentally convert from C# to VB without any problem but this C# syntax is unfamiliar. How is it written in VB?     I have a string array in C named args[] - now how can I use this list of arguments to construct a proper call to execl()? So if the array contains: {"/bin/ls","ls","-a","-l"} ...how can I eventually construct an execl() call that is: execl("/bin/ls","ls","-a","-l",NULL); I must be thinking about this wrong, as I can't find anything online, just talk about defining functions that can take a variable number of arguments.

    This question already has an answer here: What and When to use Tuple? 5 answers I was looking at examples online of Tuple but I do not see any ideal use of it. Meaning, it seems like a place to store variables. Is there any practical use of Tuple. What I like to do is to pass in a value to the tuple and then have it return back 3 values which are all strings.

  • Determining Screen Positions in Objective-C (NSScreen)

    Using [NSScreen screens] I'm able to get all of the screens attached to the computer and their sizes, however I'm trying to find out their positions relative to each other (like in Arrangement in the Display preferences).
