  • select failing with C program but not shell

    - by Gary
    So I have a parent and child process, and the parent can read output from the child and send to the input of the child. So far, everything has been working fine with shell scripts, testing commands which input and output data. I just tested with a simple C program and couldn't get it to work. Here's the C program: #include <stdio.h> int main( void ) { char stuff[80]; printf("Enter some stuff:\n"); scanf("%s", stuff); return 0; } The problem with with the C program is that my select fails to read from the child fd and hence the program cannot finish. Here's the bit that does the select.. //wait till child is ready fd_set set; struct timeval timeout; FD_ZERO( &set ); // initialize fd set FD_SET( PARENT_READ, &set ); // add child in to set timeout.tv_sec = 3; timeout.tv_usec = 0; int r = select(FD_SETSIZE, &set, NULL, NULL, &timeout); if( r < 1 ) { // we didn't get any input exit(1); } Does anyone have any idea why this would happen with the C program and not a shell one? Thanks!

  • How can I share an entity framework model across website users

    - by richardmoss
    Hello, Currently my website is based around MVC and the Entity Framework running against a SQL Server 2005 database. So far, it has all been running very smoothly, and I really enjoy MVC and its slimmer more concise code (and no huge viewstates or soul destroying postbacks ;)) Recently I was working on upgrading the site to use a simple forum system, and this is where I started running into problems. When I was testing the site using two different browsers, if I created or replied to a post in one browser, the other browser couldn't see the post. At the moment, each visitor to the site gets their own copy of the entity model, which I store in their session data. Obviously this is the problem as updates to one model aren't getting carried to the other. As a test, I tried storing a single copy of the model which all visitors would access by assigning the model to a static variable. This worked, and both browsers could see each others modifications. However, it had its side effects. For example, if I fired up both browsers at the same time and the model was initialized, one browser would crash, and the other would work fine, despite me using a locking object so in theory one of them should have been delayed until the model was ready (of course I could have implemented this wrong ;)). Also, originally this site did use one model for all visitors and when it was live, it frequently shut down - killing the IIS application pool while it did. Now I'm not sure if this was related, but I don't really want to reintroduce whatever bug I had that caused this shut down. So, my question is a simple one really - what is the best way of either using the same model for all website users so they all see updates, or if they do have separate copies (which I imagine will have a performance impact in time) how can the models detect changes in the database and update themselves according. Thanks in advance for any advice! Regards; Richard Moss

  • ajax login problem

    - by rdanee
    $(document).ready(function() { $("form#login_form").submit(function() { var login_username = $('#login_username').attr('value'); var login_password = $('#login_password').attr('value'); type: "POST", $.ajax({ url: "login.php", data: "username="+ login_username +"& password="+ login_password, success: function(data){ alert(data); if (data == "ok"){ $('form#login_form').hide(function(){$('div.success').fadeIn();}); } } }); return false; }); Login.php: <?php include("settings.php"); $query = "select * from users where username = '{$_POST['login_username']}' and password = md5('{$_POST['login_password']}')"; $query = mysql_query($query, $connection); if ( mysql_num_rows($query) == 1 ) { print "ok"; $array = mysql_fetch_array($query); if ( $_POST['stay'] ) { $time = time()+2592000; } else { $time = 0; } } else { print "no"; } mysql_close($connection); ?> My problem: In the alert the message always "no" whether username/password is correct, however on the site "ok" appears when username/pw is correct. I have read the other questions in connection with this problem, but I couldn't solve the response problem from login.php with Json. Could you help me how should I response to the ajax calling? ( with a code if it is possible) Thank you very much, and sorry for questioning again.

  • why is css not being applied to this jquery anchor button?

    - by Tim
    I must be missing something very basic in the CSS. My jQuery anchor button is functional, but it's rendering as a simple underlined label, not asa rounded-corner UI button. I would be grateful if someone could point out the error in this simple example. • Jquery selectors question

    - by Ben
    Hi all, I am not an expert at jquery but trying to get a menu to work. Basically, I have a menu made of up to 3 levels of nested lists. The first level has a little arrow has a background image that opens or close when opening the first level list. Any other nested lists don't need to have the background image. My script opens the menu when you click on it and is also supposed to switch the first level list from a class "inactive" to a class "active". Here is the script: $(document).ready(function(){ $("#left-navigation-holder ul.level1 li.inactive").toggle(function(){ $(this).addClass("active"); }, function () { $(this).removeClass("active"); }); $("#left-navigation-holder li a").click(function(){ menu = $(this).parent('li').children('ul'); menu.toggle(); }); }); The problem is that the toggle function also happens when clicking on second and third level lists causing the arrows to toggle even if the first level list isn't clicked on. I thought using $("#left-navigation-holder ul.level1 li.inactive").toggle would limit the function to the first level list with a class "inactive". Any help would be really appreciated. Ben

  • XMLHttpRequst return null on Chrome

    - by BoltBait
    I have the following code that works fine in IE: <HTML> <BODY> <script language="JavaScript"> text=""; req = new XMLHttpRequest(); if (req) { req.onreadystatechange = processStateChange; req.open("GET", "http://www.boltbait.com", true); req.send(); } function processStateChange() { // is the data ready for use? if (req.readyState == 4) { // process my data alert(req.status); alert(req.responseText); } } </script> </BODY> </HTML> In IE, the first alert returns 200, the second returns the web page. However, in Chrome the first alert returns 0 and the second returns the empty string. My intent is to grab a web page into a string for processing. If I'm not doing this right, how should I be doing this? Thanks.

  • Google Maps InfoBubble pixelOffset

    - by Sam
    I am trying to implement a custom infoBubble that has the box opening to the side of a marker. This has turned out to be harder than expected. Using the normal infoWindow you can use pixelOffset. See here for the documentation Using infoBubble this does not seem to be the case. Is there anyway of using pixelOffset in an infoBubble, or something that will do the same thing? I have found this very difficult to search for, as using a google search such as this returns no relevant results Google Search Below is all my resources I have been using. Example of infoBubble here. My JavaScript to setup the map and infoBubble here. And now my javascript here just in-case the jsfiddle link is broken. <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function () { init(); }); function init() { //Setup the map var googleMapOptions = { center: new google.maps.LatLng(53.5167, -1.1333), zoom: 13, mapTypeId: google.maps.MapTypeId.ROADMAP }; //Start the map var map = new google.maps.Map(document.getElementById("map_canvas"), googleMapOptions); var marker = new google.maps.Marker({ position: new google.maps.LatLng(53.5267, -1.1333), title: "Just a test" }); marker.setMap(map); infoBubble = new InfoBubble({ map: map, content: '<div class="phoneytext">Some label</div>', //position: new google.maps.LatLng(-35, 151), shadowStyle: 1, padding: '10px', //backgroundColor: 'rgb(57,57,57)', borderRadius: 5, minWidth: 200, arrowSize: 10, borderWidth: 1, borderColor: '#2c2c2c', disableAutoPan: true, hideCloseButton: false, arrowPosition: 7, backgroundClassName: 'phoney', pixelOffset: new google.maps.Size(130, 120), arrowStyle: 2 }); infoBubble.open(map, marker); } </script>

  • jquery animate from object center

    - by mtwallet
    Hi. I am trying to create a product viewer similar to the one at the bottom of this page http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/. As you can see the product animates from the center rather than top left which I think is Jquery's default. So what I am doing is trying animate the width and height and then also the offset to make it look like it animates from the center. My code looks like this: <style> body { background: black; } .box { background: #fff url('pic.jpg') no-repeat 0 0; width: 200px; height: 200px; margin: 10px 4%; float: left; } </style> <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $(".box").hover(function() { $(".box").not(this).fadeTo(500, 0.5); $(this).animate({ width: 300, height: 300, left: -100, top: -100 }, 500); }, function() { $(this).animate({ width: 200, height: 200, left: 100, top: 100 }, 500); $(".box").fadeTo(500, 1); }); }); </script> I cannot seem to get this working as I want. Can anyone help with this or suggest a better technique? Many thanks

  • VS2010 Web Deploy: how to remove absolute paths and automate setAcl?

    - by Julien Lebosquain
    The integrated Web Deployment in Visual Studio 2010 is pretty nice. It can create a package ready to be deployed using MSDeploy on a target IIS machine. Problem is, this package will be redistributed to a client that will install it himself using the "Import Application" from IIS when MSDeploy is installed. The default package created always include the full path from the development machine, "D:\Dev\XXX\obj\Debug\Package\PackageTmp" in the source manifest file. It doesn't prevent installation of course since it was designed this way, but it looks ugly in the import dialog and has no meaning to the client. Worse he will wonder what are those paths and it looks quite confusing. By customizing the .csproj file (by adding MSBuild properties used by the package creation task), I managed to add additional parameters to the package. However, I spent most of the afternoon in the 2600 lines long Web.Publishing.targets trying to understand what parameter influenced the "development path" behavior, in vain. I also tried to use the setAcl to customize security on a given folder after deployment, but I only managed to do this with MSBuild by using a relative path... it shouldn't matter if I resolve the first problem though. I could modify the generated archive after its creation but I would prefer if everything was automatized using MSBuild. Does anyone know how to do that?

  • How can i change a jquery plugin's option value with my value?

    - by Pandiya Chendur
    I have just jquery pagination plugin to work... But what happens is when i click page number 2 i get the first page and when i click 3 i get second page and so on.... My initial page my current page value changes to 0 instead 1 this causes the problem... My plugin has this, jQuery.fn.pagination = function(maxentries, opts){ opts = jQuery.extend({ items_per_page:10, num_display_entries:10, current_page:0, num_edge_entries:0, link_to:"#", prev_text:"Prev", next_text:"Next", ellipse_text:"...", prev_show_always:true, next_show_always:true, callback:function(){return false;} },opts||{}); current_page is set to 0 ... I have modified the current page value in my jquery function but it doesn't seem to work.... <script type="text/javascript"> var itemsPerPage = 5; var maxNumberOfElementsHere = 17; $(document).ready(function() { getRecordspage(1, itemsPerPage); $(".pager").pagination(maxNumberOfElementsHere, { callback: getRecordspage, current_page: 1, // Look here i have changed this but it doesn't work... items_per_page: itemsPerPage, num_display_entries: 5, next_text: 'Next', prev_text: 'Prev', num_edge_entries: 1 }); }); </script>

  • Changing html content of a div before and after ajax request

    - by R27
    I am trying to change the button "ADD" (in a div) to some text/img as soon as it is clicked. And after the ajax request is processed, in the success block , I want the div to get the button back. I see the ajax request is itself not getting processed. Can someone explain whats my mistake. I just removed the jsfiddle link and pasting the script here to avoid confusion about the dependencies. JS script var ajax_load = "Please wait..."; jQuery(document).ready(function($) { $("#add_button").click(function(event){ var st = $("#add_div").html(); $("#add_div").html(ajax_load); $("#sform").validate({ errorClass: "error", submitHandler: function (form) { alert('inside submit'); $.ajax({ type: "GET", url: 'form.cgi', data: $("#sform").serialize(), success: function (msg) { alert('msg'); $("#add_div").html(st); $("#sform")[0].reset(); } }); } }); }); }); And the html piece is <form id=sform>LABEL <input id=field1 type=text> <div id="add_div"> <input type="button" value="ADD" id="add_button"> </div> </form> I have jquery.validate.min.js script included.

  • Tagging in Subversion - how do I make the decision about continuing to work on my trunk vs. the new

    - by Howiecamp
    I'm running Tortoise SVN to manage a project. Obviously the principles around tagging apply to any implementation of SVN but in this question I'll be referring to some TortoiseSVN-specific dialog boxes and messages. My working directory and the subversion repository structure both have a Source root directory and the Trunk, Tags and Branches directories underneath. (I couldn't figure out how to do a multilevel indented hierarchy in markdown without using bullets, so if someone could edit and fix this I'd appreciate it.) I'm working out of the Trunk directory in my working copy and it's pointing at the Trunk directory in the repo. I want to apply a Tag "Release1" so I click the "Branch/tag..." menu option and set the repo path as my [repo_path/bla/Source/Tags/Release1" tag. This dialog box gives me the option to "Switch my working copy to new branch/tag". I understand that if this option is left unchecked, the new "Release1" branch under /Tags" will be created but my working copy will remain on the previous "Trunk" path. If I do check this option (or use the Switch command) I understand that my working copy will switch to the new "Release1" branch under "/Tags". Where I'm missing a concept is how to make this decision. It doesn't seem like I want to switch my working directory to the recently created tag since by definition (?) I want that tag to be a snapshot of my code as of a point in time. If I don't switch the working directory, I'll continue working off Trunk and when I'm ready to take another snapshot I'll make another tag. And so on... Am I understanding this right or am I stating something incorrectly in the previous paragraph (e.g. the statement about not wanting to switch to the tag since the tag should represent a point in time snapshot) or otherwise missing something regarding how to make this decision?

  • Problem with adding and removing classes with jQuery when hovering over a list item.

    - by Andrew
    I want to add a class to a list item when I hover over it, and then remove it and add it to a different list item if a different list item is hovered over. Here's what I tried: jQuery - $(document).ready(function() { $("#results").text("Tournaments"); $("#Tournaments").addClass("box-active"); $("#box ul li").hover(function() { var show = $(this).attr('id'); $("#results").text(show); $("#box ul li").each(function() { $(this).removeClass("box-active"); }); $("#box ul li#" + show).addClass("box-active"); }); }); HTML - <div id="box"> <ul> <li id="Tournaments">Tournaments</li> <li id="Join">Join</li> <li id="Forums">Forums</li> <li id="GameBattles">GameBattles</li> <li id="Practice">Practice</li> </ul> <p>Hovering over: <span id="results"></span></p> </div> When I hover over an item, it changes the class, but if I hover over I different one it removes the class over the item I first hovered over, but doesn't add the class to the new item I'm hovering over. Not sure why, and any help would be appreciated.

  • How to clean completly select2 control?

    - by Candil
    I'm working with the awesome select2 control. I'm trying to clean and disable the select2 with the content too so I do this: $("#select2id").empty(); $("#select2id").select2("disable"); Ok, it works, but if i had a value selected all the items are removed, the control is disabled, but the selected value is still displayed. I want to clear all content so the placeholder would be showed. Here is a example I did where you can see the issue: http://jsfiddle.net/BSEXM/ HTML: <select id="sel" data-placeholder="This is my placeholder"> <option></option> <option value="a">hello</option> <option value="b">all</option> <option value="c">stack</option> <option value="c">overflow</option> </select> <br> <button id="pres">Disable and clear</button> <button id="ena">Enable</button> Code: $(document).ready(function () { $("#sel").select2(); $("#pres").click(function () { $("#sel").empty(); $("#sel").select2("disable"); }); $("#ena").click(function () { $("#sel").select2("enable"); }); }); CSS: #sel { margin: 20px; } Do you have any idea or advice to this?

  • Which MySQL Fork/Version to Pick??

    - by Drew
    As most of you know, Sun acquired MySQL (and later Oracle acquired Sun), and during these acquisitions, there were a lot of FUD in MySQL community which resulted in creation of various forks. Today we have MySQL from MySQL, Percona (XtraDB) MySQL, OurDelta MySQL, MariaDB, Drizzle to name a few. Which brings us to the source of the problem. We are in the process of upgrading our databases (hardware/software) and I would like to know which one of the forks should I go with. Each has their own set of pros/cons. We are currently using MySQL 5.0.x from MySQL/Linux on an 8-core machine. Our new hardware is a monster with 32 cores and 32GB of memory connecting to a fast NetApp Storage via FC. I would like to stick with MySQL from MySQL but I have heard horror stories on how badly MySQL 5.1 performs on many cores. I have also heard that MySQL 5.4 performs better on multi-core machines but that's still not production ready. In addition, I have also heard a lot of good things about Percona builds. This is what I know so far: MySQL 5.1 from MySQL: Reliable choice, but doesn't scale well on a big machine Percona: Scales well, good backing company. I don't have much experience with it MariaDB: Don't know much about it besides that it was founded by Original MySQL developers (including Monty) OurDelta: Don't know much Drizzle: Mostly optimized for cloud computing I would like to know what's the general notion about this problem. Which build/version should I go with? How are you guys picking your builds/versions? Thanks!

  • How to have multiple instances of jQuery plugin on single page?

    - by James Skidmore
    I'm writing a simple jQuery plugin, but I'm having trouble being able to use multiple instances on a page. For instance, here is a sample plugin to illustrate my point: (function($) { $.fn.samplePlugin = function(options) { if (typeof foo != 'undefined') { alert('Already defined!'); } else { var foo = 'bar'; } }; })(jQuery); And then if I do this: $(document).ready(function(){ $('#myDiv').samplePlugin({}); // does nothing $('#myDiv2').samplePlugion({}); // alerts "Already defined!" }); This is obviously an over-simplified example to get across the point. So my question is, how do I have two separate instances of the plugin? I'd like to be able to use it across multiple instances on the same page. I'm guessing that part of the problem might be with defining the variables in a global scope. How can I define them unique to that instance of the plugin then? Thank you for your guidance!

  • Lights off effect and jquery placement on wordpress

    - by Alexander Santiago
    I'm trying to implement a lights on/off on single posts of my wordpress theme. I know that I have to put this code on my css, which I did already: #the_lights{ background-color:#000; height:1px; width:1px; position:absolute; top:0; left:0; display:none; } #standout{ padding:5px; background-color:white; position:relative; z-index:1000; } Now this is the code that I'm having trouble with: function getHeight() { if ($.browser.msie) { var $temp = $("").css("position", "absolute") .css("left", "-10000px") .append($("body").html()); $("body").append($temp); var h = $temp.height(); $temp.remove(); return h; } return $("body").height(); } $(document).ready(function () { $("#the_lights").fadeTo(1, 0); $("#turnoff").click(function () { $("#the_lights").css("width", "100%"); $("#the_lights").css("height", getHeight() + "px"); $("#the_lights").css({‘display’: ‘block’ }); $("#the_lights").fadeTo("slow", 1); }); $("#soft").click(function () { $("#the_lights").css("width", "100%"); $("#the_lights").css("height", getHeight() + "px"); $("#the_lights").css("display", "block"); $("#the_lights").fadeTo("slow", 0.8); }); $("#turnon").click(function () { $("#the_lights").css("width", "1px"); $("#the_lights").css("height", "1px"); $("#the_lights").css("display", "block"); $("#the_lights").fadeTo("slow", 0); }); }); I think it's a jquery. Where do I place it and how do I call it's function? Been stuck on this thing for 6 hours now and any help would be greatly appreciated...

  • deep linking in Excel sheets exported to html

    - by pomarc
    hello everybody, I am working on a project where I must export to html a lot of Excel files. This is pretty straightforward using automation and saving as html. The problem is that many of these sheets have links to worksheets of some other files. I must find a way to write a link to a single inner worksheet. When you export a multisheet excel file to html, excel creates a main htm file, a folder named filename_file, and inside this folder it writes down several files: a css, an xml list of files, a file that creates the tab bar and several html files named sheetxxx.htm, each one representing a worksheet. When you open the main file, you can click the menu bar at the bottom which lets you select the appropriate sheet. This is in fact a link, which replaces a frame content with the sheetxxx.htm file. When this file is loaded a javascript function that selects the right tab gets called. The exported files will be published on a web site. I will have to post process each file and replace every link to the other xls files to the matching htm file, finding a way to open the right worksheet. I think that I could add a parameter to the processed htm file link url, such as myfile.htm?sh=sheet002.htm if I want to link to the second worksheet of myfile.htm (ex myfile.xls). After I've exported them, I could inject a simple javascript into each of the main files which, when they are loaded, could retrieve the sh parameter with jQuery (this is easy) and use this to somehow replace the frSheet frame contents (where the sheets get loaded), opening the right inner sheet and not the default sheet (this is what I call deep linking) mimicking what happens when a user clicks on a tab. This last step is missing... :) I am considering different options, such as replacing the source of the $("frSheet") frame after document.ready. I'd like to hear from you any advice on what could be the best way to realize that in your opinion. any help is greately appreciated, many thanks.

  • Created function not found

    I'm trying to create a simple function, but at runtime firebug says the function does not exist. Here's the function code: <script type="text/javascript"> function load_qtip(apply_qtip_to) { $(apply_qtip_to).each(function(){ $(this).qtip( { content: { // Set the text to an image HTML string with the correct src URL to the loading image you want to use text: '<img class="throbber" src="/projects/qtip/images/throbber.gif" alt="Loading..." />', url: $(this).attr('rel'), // Use the rel attribute of each element for the url to load title: { text: 'Nieuwsbladshop.be - ' + $(this).attr('tooltip'), // Give the tooltip a title using each elements text //button: 'Sluiten' // Show a close link in the title } }, position: { corner: { target: 'bottomMiddle', // Position the tooltip above the link tooltip: 'topMiddle' }, adjust: { screen: true // Keep the tooltip on-screen at all times } }, show: { when: 'mouseover', solo: true // Only show one tooltip at a time }, hide: 'mouseout', style: { tip: true, // Apply a speech bubble tip to the tooltip at the designated tooltip corner border: { width: 0, radius: 4 }, name: 'light', // Use the default light style width: 250 // Set the tooltip width } }) } } </script> And I'm trying to call it here: <script type="text/javascript"> // Create the tooltips only on document load $(document).ready(function() { load_qtip('#shopcarousel a[rel]'); // Use the each() method to gain access to each elements attributes }); </script> What am I doing wrong?

  • How to configure a subproject dependency in Maven without deploying jars?

    - by MikeHoss
    I googled this and it seems that no one has an answer, yet it seems like such an elementary thing that it should be possible. I have the following project structure: parent ---sub-project1 ---sub-project2 sub-project2 needs to have sub-project1 as a dependency. So I have this in sub-project2's pom: <dependencies> <dependency> <artifactId>sub-project1</artifactId> <groupId>mygroup</groupId> <version>1.0-SNAPSHOT</version> </dependency> .... When I do this, Maven tries to dowload the sub-project1.jar file, which does not exist because it's not ready for the repo yet. I tried to put a <scope>import</scope> in the dependency, but that didn't work either -- same result. So what do I have to do to get Maven to look at sub-project1 when building sub-project2?

  • Jquery cant get facebox working inside ajax call

    - by John
    From my main page I call an ajax file via jquery, in that ajax file is some additional jquery code. Original link looks like this: <a href="/page1.php" class="guest-action notify-function"><img src="/icon1.png"></a> Then the code: $(document).ready(function(){ $('a[rel*=facebox]').facebox(); $('.guest-action').click( function() { $.get( $(this).attr('href'), function(responseText) { $.jGrowl(responseText); }); return false; }); $('.notify-function').click( function() { $(this).find('img').attr('src','/icon2.png'); $(this).attr('href','/page2.php'); $(this).removeClass('guest-action').removeClass('notify-function').attr('rel','facebox'); }); }); So basically after notify-function is clicked I am changing the icon and the url of the link, I then am removing the classes so that the click wont be ran again and add rel="facebox" to the link so that the facebox window will pop up if they try to click the new icon2.png that shows up. The problem is after I click the initial icon everything works just fine except when I try to click the new icon2.png it still executes the jgrowl code from the guest-action. But when I view the source it shows this: <a href="/page2.php" rel="facebox" class=""><img src="/icon2.png"></a> So it seemed that should work right? What am I doing wrong? I tried adding the facebox code to the main page that is calling the ajax file as well and still same issue.

  • Learning libraries without books or tutorials

    - by Kawili-wili
    While many ask questions about where to find good books or tutorials, I'd like to take the opposite tack. I consider myself to be an entry-level programmer ready to move up to mid-level. I have written code in c, c++, c#, perl, python, clojure, vb, and java, so I'm not completely clueless. Where I see a problem in moving to the next level is learning to make better use of the literally hundreds upon hundreds of libraries available out there. I seem paralyzed unless there is a specific example in a book or tutorial to hand-hold me, yet I often read in various forums where another programmer attempts to assist with a question. He/she will look through the docs or scan the available classes/methods in their favorite IDE and seem to grok what's going on in a relatively short period of time, even if they had no previous experience with that specific library or function. I yearn to break the umbilical chord of constantly spending hour upon hour searching and reading, searching and reading, searching and reading. Many times there is no book or tutorial, or if there is, the discussion glosses over my specific needs or the examples shown are too far off the path for the usage I had in mind or the information is outdated and makes use of deprecated components or the library itself has fallen out of mainstream, yet is still perfectly usable (but no docs, books, or tutorials to hand-hold). My question is: In the absence of books or tutorials, what is the best way to grok new or unfamiliar libraries? I yearn to slicken the grok path so I can get down to the business of doing what I love most -- coding.

  • Select ID in table ...

    - by Kris-I
    Hello, I have this code <% foreach (var item in Model.List) { %> <tr> <td><%: item.LastName %></td> <td><%: item.FirstName %></td> <td><%: item.IsEnable %></td> <td><a href="#" class="CustomerEdit">Edit</a></td> <td><a href="#" class="CustomerDetail">Detail</a></td> <td><a href="#" class="CustomerDelete">Delete</a></td> </tr> <% } %> <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function () { $(".CustomerEdit").click(function () { alert("blabla"); //need id here }); }); </script> It's not in the code but I have an "Item.Id", it's not place anywhere because I don't know where place it ;-). I'd like when I click on the "Edit" hyperlink get the id (item.Id) of the current line. Any idea ? Thanks,
