  • Not able to disable incognito mode in chrome with windows 8

    I have windows 8 and chrome version 28 but the steps which was said with the links below is not working. It still shows me incognito mode as enabled. http://dev.chromium.org/administrators/policy-list-3#IncognitoModeAvailability or http://dev.chromium.org/administrators/policy-list-3#IncognitoEnabled I did all the steps as mentioned and restarted the system too.   • KeyPass - KeyPassHttp refuses to be recognised as a plugin

    I'm trying to make KeyPass run on my Windows 7 machine, I've downloaded and installed KeePass, aim to use it alongside Passifox However, downloading and copying the KeePassHttp executable to the C:\Program Files (x86)\KeePass Password Safe folder, however it refuses to show up in the KeyPass plugins window. Please help, I've tried download KeePassHttp using multiple links from github and passifox itself using Firefox and even wget. Also I've tried pinging http://localhost:19455 but nothing was found. Any ideas I'm at a loss.

    I have a long list of data in Excel. Using the Hyperlink function =HYPERLINK(C2,A2) i've added individual links to them all. Now i want to get rid of the function and just leave the data with the link. So i do Paste Special -- Values Which does the job but then the link is removed. How can i paste the values and keep the hyperlink?

  • Immersed versus 'normal' version of chrome

    I installed chrome, and now I have 2 ways to open chrome: if I open chrome from the metro-tile menu, I get the full-screen, immersed, windows-8 style chrome. If I start the link I got on my desktop, I get the windowed version. Apart from the fact that I would like to know how I might do that on purpose, I also want to know what's going on so I can use the windowed version (I prefer that for a browser) from all links I have, especially the one in the menu.

    Hi, I'm looking for a way to minimize the net traffic use with my netbook mobile internet connection. Recently I managed to install Opera Mini on the XP and the opera approach of compressing the data helped a lot. But I would like to do the same with my favorite browser using http proxy that compress the data "on the fly". But searching for "compression proxy servers" I could not find any working host/port links. Is it a brand-new technology and therefore expensive or rarely available?

    I am not able to set up a cluster with session replication. I have successfully set up a cluster with sticky session.     Assuming the components like *.dll's, *.ocx's installed and registered on the clients there exists the possibility to place the *.exe and some related files on the fileserver. To start the application there are links on the client's desktops which runs the \fileserver\AppPath\exe. Would you agree with such a layout? What if 'the client' is a terminal-server and 'the clients' means a terminal-server-farm?

Have Google'd a little but I can't seam to find a topic which the links to potential products still are active.   • Make Excel 2007 open hyperlinks in Firefox

    In Excel 2007, when I click a hyperlink, it opens in IE. I'm running XP Professional SP3. Firefox is set as my default browser. Links in Word and Outlook open in Firefox. But Excel opens them in IE. Anyone know how to fix it? Edit: Process Explorer shows the command line for IE to be "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" -Embedding Thanks!

    How to use complex AJAX applications with a lot of menus and with X.509 authentications in non-GUI mode with simple browsers? For example, I can login to Webmoney from console using links/lynx/link2 (but not w3m), entering captcha (using aaxine) and do operations there, but can't login not using X.509 certificate (even if I try to separate SSL part using "socat tcp-l:... openssl:...:443,cert=extracted_from_firefox.pem") Is there some program that behaves like fully-fledged browser (build DOM/execute JS/Support all features except of actually displaying things), but without GUI and dependencies on GUI libraries?

  • Toshiba laptop won't connect to D-link router

    This is Team 4786 Nicolet Fear FIRST FRC robotics, our problem is we cant get our D-Link (DAP-1522) to connect to our Toshiba (TECRA R950) laptop wireless. It has connected before in the past and we don't know why it is not working anymore. The D-links still function correctly and we think our problem lies within the Toshiba. EDIT:The Toshiba connects to the school Wifi, and other things (small FRC drive station) connect to the D-link, but they won't connect to each other.

  • Fast Ways of Cd'ing on *nix?

    I find myself constantly typing (using tab, of course) absurd paths like cd path/to/the/thing\ that\ I\ need/python/proj/eraseme Aside from doing an ln -s (or some other type of ln?), is there any other way to get around faster? Also, if the solution is to use ln, is there some standard way/place to put the links so a not to clutter my ~ directory? I'm not asking for shortcuts only: any solution that helps with the problem of "how to get around" would help.

  • VirtualBox OSE: Install Guest OS On Headless Host Via VNC?

    I've remotely installed VirtualBox OSE on my Gentoo box at home. I have everything set up and ready for the OS. However all the documentation I've read seems to say that you can only use the PUEL version in order to get remote access during installs - does anyone know if it's possible to do similar with the OSE but using VNC? Links to documentation or tutorials would be welcome, apparently my Google-Fu is failing me, if it's out there. Thanks.
