    Hi there, Recently I installed in Visual Studio 2010 the Power Tools Extension It's working great, however I have problems with my text coloring theme (Nightfall), and the extension's Colorized Parameter feature. Since the theme text fore color is grey, when the Power Tools Extensions shows the Parameter Help tooltip using my text colors, it gets unreadable: Is there a way to change Parameter Help background color?

  • Is there a way to opt-out from WP8 when submiting an Windows Phone app?

    I have a Windows Phone app build using the 7.1 SDK that works great on WP7 but does not work at all on WP8 (I am using multicast using UDP and WP8 can join the group but send/receives no message for some reason, other people having the same problem: UDP multicast group on Windows Phone 8). Is there a way to opt-out from WP8 when I submit my app? I just want the app to be available t WP7 users. I am looking for something like the 256MB opt-out option.

    I'm sick of writing basic UIAlertView's, ie: UIAlertView *alert = [[UIAlertView alloc] initWith...]] //etc Instead of doing this, is it possible to put all this in a "helper" function, where I can return the buttonIndex, or whatever an alert usually returns? For a simple helper function I guess you could feed parameters for the title, message, I'm not sure whether you can pass delegates in a parameter though, or bundle info. In pseudo-code, it could be like this: someValueOrObject = Print_Alert(Title="", Message="", Delegate="", Bundle="") // etc Any help on this would be great. Thanks

  • Applying a partial gaussian like blur to a background image

    I have and image which gets stretched to its full background, regardless of the monitor size. What i need to do is apply cross-browser blur above this image on only a portion of the left hand side. So it gives the appearance of a blur on the image. If i apply it to the image then when the screen resolution changes size so does the size of the blur. Any help would be great. Cheers

    I'm writing for an atmel at91sam9260 arm 9 cored single board computer [glomation gesbc9260] Using request_mem_region(0xFFFFFC00,0x100,"name"); //port range runs from fc00 to fcff that works fine and shows up in /proc/iomem then i try to write to the last bit of the port at fc20 with writel(0x1, 0xFFFFFC20); and i segfault...specifically "unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address fffffc20. I'm of the mind that i'm not allocating the right memory space... any helpful insight would be great...

However, we're still forced to use StarTeam because we lack the per-file history of check-ins. Is it possible to inject that history into SubVersion after the first check-in has been done?   • Niceforms radio buttons are shown on wrong position

    When i am using Niceforms the normal text inputs and buttons work great and i even managed to get a custom theme for them based on the provided sample psd. But when i use radiobuttons/checkboxes, they get shown some where completely different than the labels. This happens consistently on FF,Chrome and Safari. As soon as i put any positioning css (a float:left or even a ) in the page the radiobuttons break.

So my question is, How can I do to specify a relative path in this configuration file.

    I need to derive the Big-O complexity of this expression: c^n + n*(log(n))^2 + (10*n)^c where c is a constant and n is a variable. I'm pretty sure I understand how to derive the Big-O complexity of each term individually, I just don't know how the Big-O complexity changes when the terms are combined like this. Ideas?     CouchDB is great, I like its replication functionality, but it's a bit larger and slower when used in desktop application. As I tested in intel duo core cpu, 12 seconds to load 10000 docs 10 seconds to insert 10000 doc, but need 20 seconds to update view, so total is 30 seconds Is there any No SQL implementation which has the same replication functionality, but the size is very small, and the speed is quite good( 1 second to load 10000 docs).
