  CouchDB is great, I like its replication functionality, but it's a bit larger and slower when used in desktop application. As I tested in intel duo core cpu, 12 seconds to load 10000 docs 10 seconds to insert 10000 doc, but need 20 seconds to update view, so total is 30 seconds Is there any No SQL implementation which has the same replication functionality, but the size is very small, and the speed is quite good( 1 second to load 10000 docs). We have corporate accounts with both companies, and they both tell me that they have no intention of producing versions to support 64 bit applications. I can then use my app to download authenticated pages. However, is it possible to do the opposite, to get the control to ignore any IE cookies?

  I understand there has been a lot of discussion on this but I have yet to find a solution to fix my needs. Basically I need to autogrow a text area not when you type but on load. I am pulling in content from a database and dependant on the user's settings an overlay is produced over the text area, but upon doing this the text areas are not scrollable therefore I need to autosize these to show all the text. I have tried scrollHeight but this is not working great as there are multiple text boxes on the screen Thanks

• How to handle null return from custom HttpHandler in asp.net?

  I'm using a custom ashx HttpHandler to retrieve gif images from a database and show it on a website - when the image exists, it works great. However, there are cases when the image will not exist, and I'd like to have the html table holding the image to become invisible so the "image not found" icon is not shown. But since the HttpHandler is not synchronous, all my attempts checking for image size at Page_Load were frustrated. Any ideas on how this can be accomplished?

  I am using Groovy in a Java Swing application as part of my plan to force-feed myself dynamic languages until I like them (which is happening, partly). My stack traces are filled with Groovy stuff like org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.callsite.ConstructorSite$ConstructorSiteNoUnwrapNoCoerce.callConstructor is there a way to get Eclipse to remove all of that codehaus stuff (filter stack traces, basically)? Edit: I can do this from the command-line with grep (well, not yet) so it's not so bad, but inside of Eclipse would be great too.

  I have been given data which cannot be interpreted by my software unless it has a lowercase letter at the end. The data was delivered with an uppercase letter at the end. Somehow I need to first recursively loop through all folders and find whether the filename ends with a letter and then change it to lowercase. I think python could do this, but I don´t know how,. • Mobile Google Calendar for Specific Calendars Only

  The mobile view of Google Calendar is really great, but I would like to be able to have it for one calendar ONLY, rather than all of the calendars I use. This would be so that I could create a webapp where a user could visit a URL and see a mobile view of a certain calendar, without the user having to add it to his calendars. What is the best way to do this? Are there any tools which accomplish something similar?
