    What happen if SDHC card get write error (damaged cell / bad sector) ? Whole card is unusable (to trash, all data written to that sector now and in future will be lost) ? or rewrite sector (flash memory get corrupted when writing so maybe have any function to check if sector was written successfully) to another and mark as fault as unusable what will be seen as reduction of capacity but no data lost. I have to do some research about SD card-s on disk less machines. regards

    I have a computer, running ubuntu, that I want to be connected to the network at all times. It has a GSM modem connected to it via USB. Is there some program available that monitors that the networking is working (by pinging some site(s)), and if not tries to fix the error by reseting the modem, reloading the USB drivers and perhaps by dropping the USB port's current (if possible) to force the modem to reset ?

  • RHEL6 kick start fails with kernel panic - not syncing error

    On a brand new (just unboxed) Dell Precision 7500 computer, I began a kickstart using a red hat boot disk and a kickstart file hosted at an http address. There is a picture of the full error below with trace information I believe this is different than the other questions relating to kernel panic errors. What I would like to know is What causes the kernel panic How does one fix this such that the kickstart finishes Additional information can be provided as necessary.

  • Trying to install an old program on Windows XP and getting an error message

    Hello I'm trying to install an older application named headline.exe. I'm getting an error message saying the the program has to end and asking if I want to notify Microsoft. The event logs says "Faulting application _untitled.exe version 1.0.0.1591, faulting module flash6.ocx, version 6.0.88.0, fault address blah blah blah. I uninstalled flash and installed version 6 of Flash and nothing changed. Any thoughts? Thanks

    When i got MaxRequestLen errors in file upload page, i set MaxRequestLen=31457280 using: <IfModule mod_fcgid.c> MaxRequestLen 31457280 FcgidIOTimeout 90 </IfModule> Now file upload works when i use http url. I have recently configured ssl for my site and when i use https url for same upload page, i get the same error: HTTP request length 131073 (so far) exceeds MaxRequestLen (131072) Is there a different setting for https?     Recently when trying to access a Wordpress blog from a my network I get this error: Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain. If I request that URL from another connection (ie: remote desktop into another network and try from there), it works perfectly. Anyone got suggestions/ideas on why from my network the site errors, but from others it loads?

    I just made some changes to a DNS zone in Webmin and clicked the "Apply Changes" button. I received the error message: rndc: connection to remote host closed This may indicate that the remote server is using an older version of the command protocol, this host is not authorized to connect, or the key is invalid How can I troubleshoot / repair this? I copied parts of the BIND config from a failing server, so I suspect that's what causing it...

    SQL Server can be connected from local system but can not be connected from remote system in the network. The error code is 40 from Visual Studio and 1326 when I try to connect to SQL Server from Management Studio. Firewall isn't the problem TCP/IP connection is enabled from SQL Server There are 2 pc terminals that can connect to the SQL Server but the 3th one cannot and using the same connection strings so the connection string is right It is SQL server 2000 any help will be appreciated thanks

  • unlock-bde application not found error prevalent in Windows 8

    I have encrypted a drive with BitLocker in Windows 8 Pro, but the drive will not auto-unlock. I can manually unlock the drive from BitLocker in the Control Panel. However from Windows Explorer, I keep seeing the "unlock-bde" command that reports the error "application not found." Anyone know how to permanently fix this issue so it will auto-unlock the encrypted drive upon login to Windows 8 and it does not reoccur?

    I'm using RabbitVCS to work with Google Code, and I just recently started having problems with trying to commit. Whenever I try to commit, it says... Commit failed Server sent unexpected return value (500 Internal Server Error) in response to Checkout request for (some file that is involved in the commit. The file it fails on isn't consistent).     I am trying to move a site collection from one content database to another content database. First I used the following PowerShell command: New-SPContentDatabase -Name New_DB -WebApplication http://portal/ I confirmed that this did in fact create the DB in the SQL Server. I then used the following command: Move-SPSite http://portal/sites/hr -DestinationDatabase New_DB This generates an error stating that the "Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object" Can anyone help point me in the right direction with this?
