From what I've read, I'll have to create an XML of several images (positive and negative), but I can't find a program that'll do that for Mac OS X. • iphone - double tap fail safe way

  I am trying to detect double taps on a view, but when the double tap comes, the first tap triggers an action on TouchesBegan, so, before detecting a double tap a single tap is always detected first. How can I make this in a way that just detects the double tap? I cannot use OS 3.x gestures, because I have to make it compatible with old OS versions. thanks

• App starts in 1.5 emulator but doesn't in 1.6

  My app works on 1.5 emulator and 1.5 device. When i try to start it on 1.6 emulator, it produces strange exceptions (doesn't even start). I don't have any 1.6 device to try this app if it works on a real device. I get some warnings in Eclipse ( warning: Ignoring InnerClasses attribute for an anonymous inner class that doesn't come with an associated EnclosingMethod attribute. This class was probably produced by a broken compiler.) and get cant rid of them (i think they come from some apache jars that i need to make http multipart posts). Is it possible that this jars are cause for my exceptions in 1.6 or is it something else?   I am about to create a new developer PC image for developing WPF applications using VS2010, WCF, SQL2008 and SharePoint2010. What OS should I opt for? Windows 7? Windows Server 2008 R2? I'd have thought Windows 7 to make sure that I have a similar experience during development as an end user, however I can't install SharePoint on a client OS and so thought about Windows Server 2008 R2 to help with the SharePoint development process. Thoughts?

For many reasons, on Mac OS X, I need to use CoreFoundation functions (such as CFBundleCopyBundleURL) that creates core objects that need to be released with CFRelease. But doing so generate a lots of these warnings: *** __NSAutoreleaseNoPool(): Object 0x224f7e0 of class NSURL autoreleased with no pool in place - just leaking All the code I've seen concerning these autorelease pools are written in Objective-C. Does anybody know how to create/use autorelease pools in C or C++?

  None of the brushes in SystemColors seems to fit the bill, and IIRC, the OS theme beginning with Windows XP uses a gradient. Is there standard OS dialog box background brush or a way to tell WPF that the window is a dialog box and it should paint the background accordingly?
