    I get the following message when trying to execute etherpad/bin/run-local.sh: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/appjet/oui/main I created CLASSPATH variable, export CLASSPATH="/home/user/src/etherpad/trunk/infrastructure/build" but that didn't help either. Although I can clearly see net/appjet/oui package in the build directory.

    How can I set Java 1.6 to be the default for my MacBook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo with OS X 10.5.8? I have installed the latest software update, and dragged the Java SE 6 64-bit choice to the top in the "Java Preferences" application (and even rebooted), but still, on the command line, java -version responds with: java version "1.5.0_24" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_24-b02-357-9M3165) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_24-149, mixed mode, sharing) Any ideas?

    Hi Gurus, We are using 2.x spring security right now. I am asked to build an admin tool so that the ROLE_ADMIN can change to any user in the site and view the site as that person (each person on the site may see different stuff depending on the role which is dynamically granted base on the database) and of course the admin should be able to switch back to admin without logging in. The Javadoc of the DocumentBuilderFactory.setSchema(Schema) Method says: When errors are found by the validator, the parser is responsible to report them to the user-specified ErrorHandler (or if the error handler is not set, ignore them or throw them), just like any other errors found by the parser itself. In other words, if the user-specified ErrorHandler is set, it must receive those errors, and if not, they must be treated according to the implementation specific default error handling rules. The Javadoc of the DocumentBuilder.parse(InputSource) method says: BTW: I tried setting an error handler via setErrorHandler, but there still is no exception. Now my question: What has changed to 1.6 that prevents the schema validation to throw a SAXParseException? Is it related to the schema or to the xml that I tried to parse?

The web.config section replacement works fine when built manually, but when built as part of a TFS build the section is not replaced. I cannot find any errors or warnings in the build log. It is a common thing to ship dependencies' DLLs but CMake's FindXXX modules(./configure checks) don't provide the path to these DLLs but only to .a files. I quickly looked inside the .a libs and they all seem to contain the DLL's name. What would be a proper way of extracting them from the .a file on a Linux build machine?

  • Include a database file with Android application via Eclipse

    How can I instruct Eclipse to copy a file from my Android solution to an emulator, as part of Run/Debug? I have a small database, stored in Assets, that needs to accompany the application. Thus far I have simply copied the file myself using DDMS but would prefer to have it automatically included. The project properties allow me to specify some aspects of the build, e.g. the build order and which libraries should be included, but I don't see anything about simply copying a file.

I can fix this quite easily by having all of my header files be dependencies for all of my C files, but that would effectively cause a complete rebuild of the project any time I changed/added a header file, which would not be very graceful. What I want is for only the C files that include the header file I change to be rebuilt, and for the entire project to be linked again. I can do the linking by causing all header files to be dependencies of the target, but I cannot figure out how to make the C files be invalidated when their included header files are newer. I've heard that GCC has some commands to make this possible (so the makefile can somehow figure out which files need to be rebuilt) but I can't for the life of me find an actual implementation example to look at. Can someone post a solution that will enable this behavior in a makefile? EDIT: I should clarify, I'm familiar with the concept of putting the individual targets in and having each target.o require the header files. That requires me to be editing the makefile every time I include a header file somewhere, which is a bit of a pain. I'm looking for a solution that can derive the header file dependencies on its own, which I'm fairly certain I've seen in other projects.

I can't find anything that tells me what settings to use to get the build process to copy the headers into Headers directory in the framework, or alternately where I have to put those files.     I'm investigating the possibility of utilizing my web host as a cruise control.net build server. If I have access to MsBuild or can deploy msBuild and run it, it would be great. I can not however find any resources that would tell me if cruise control supports being run as a web service or web app. Is this type of deployment possible? If not could the UI (it's web-based I believe) control section sit on the web server and send requests to the actual build server?

    Correct me if I'm wrong - I understand a C#/.NET application's .csproj project file is effectively its makefile or build file. A Website project does not have a .csproj file (not to be mixed up with Web Application which does). In the case of a Website project, can I create a makefile equivalent, or does it use a build process/instructions stored elsewhere in the system or app?
