  I'm running a python program. When it get's to these lines: f = open("/dev/bus/usb/007/005", "r") x = fcntl.ioctl(f.fileno(), 0x84005001, '\x00' * 256) It fails saying: IOError: [Errno 1] Operation not permitted What could be causing this problem?

• Lua for Wireshark: Tvp.new_real() doesn't exist?

  The documentation for Lua for Wireshark claims that the Tvp class has a new_real() method. However, this method seems to not exist when I try to use it in my Lua script. I'm using Wireshark 1.3.5 (latest dev version) for Windows x64. Did the method get renamed? If so, to what? Is there a better support forum for this particular question?

FunctionName Though when we compile the same dll using GCC using wx-dev-cpp GCC appends the number of paramers the function has, so the name of the function using Dependency walker looks like. FunctionName@numberOfParameters or == FunctionName@8 How do you tell GCC compiler to remove @nn from exported symbols in the dll?

• App_GlobalResources not detected on production server

If i deploy to my dev machine, the resources are used correctly, however in the production server the text appears in the default language so the global resources are not being read. Any ideas?   Hi All, I am trying to implement ScoreNinja into one of my apps. It all seems to work, but when I submit a score it replaces the current #1 score with any that I supply, even it is lower. This means that only one score is ever displayed. Anyone got any idea what I'm doing wrong? I have e-mailed the dev but he/they haven't responded.   I am writing an application for iPhone and had some questions regarding eula :- If I do not include any disclaimer/ eula in my app, then would Apple's standard EULA http://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/appstore/dev/stdeula/ automatically apply to my app ? If I include a small disclaimer inside my application (as a popup on initial screen), then would Apple's EULA still cover my app ? I tried downloading few apps on my ipad and did not see Apple's standard EULA. So, where can I actually see the EULA before downloading something ?

  I have my iPhone setup on my computer at home, with my developer account and provisioning profile. I'm trying to get it setup on my work computer so I can run work apps on it as well. My work has their own dev account. I created an app ID and privisioning profile on my personal account and downloaded it on my work computer but its not letting me compile and run on my iPhone.   I'm working on a website layout you can find at dev.movingcost.com In most browsers, everything seems fine... but I'm getting a horizontal scroll bar on the window when viewing the page in IE. I'm using a fixed width of 960px with auto margins to center the content. I've even tried using "overflow-x:hidden" on the html and body tags to no avail... any clue where the problem is?

  In the 5/15 minute scrum meeting the 3 questions are asked. For the last question "what impediments are getting in your way" If a dev has problems - the xyz is going to have problems, this is likely going to draw the meeting out past 15 mins and could go into a hour long discussion. Is it the scrum masters job to help this user, is there something to stop this from going on more than 15 mins. Thoughts?
