Some examples are: contains(reserved[j])){ close(); i++){ letters[20]=word I want to find any character that is NOT a letter, and replace it with a white space, so the above examples look like: contains reserved j close i letters word What is the best way to do this?

  • Which one has a faster runtime performance: WPF or Winforms?

    I know WPF is more complex an flexible so could be thought to do more calculations. But since the rendering is done on the GPU, wouldn't it be faster than Winforms for the same application (functionally and visually)? I mean when you are not running any games or heavy 3d rendering, the GPU isn't doing heavy work, right? Whereas the CPU is always busy. Is this a valid assumption or is the GPU utilization of WPF a very minor operation in its pipeline?

What's the proper way to inject it wholly to the custom manager?

    Do you need to have good spatial sense to be a good programmer? I have next to nothing of it (I think it has to do with the differing vision of my eyes). I've already coded quite little things but wonder if this interferes with the ability to 'imagine' the assembly of the code in case of a more complex program?     I am reading a file by line and need to extract latitude and longitude from it. This how lines can looks: DE 83543 Rott am Inn Bayern BY Oberbayern Landkreis Rosenheim 47.983 12.1278 DE 21147 Hamburg Hamburg HH Kreisfreie Stadt Hamburg 53.55 10 What's for sure is, there are no dots surrounded by digits except for the ones representing the doubles. Unfortunately there are Values without a dot, so it's probably best to check for numbers from the end of the String. thanks for your help!

    Here's what I know... this "GxvS117MfVw=" when decoded turns to "56699" now what does this "+sB6hF46GyU=" turn into "?????" Parentheses not included I tried base64 decoder and it doesn't seem to be right. It is supposed to be a number. I am not sure about the length, I don't think it should exceed 5 numbers. I would really appreciate it if you can decode it for me and show me how. Thank you!!

  • Borland problem: typing

    When I type in Borland C++,it types over the line,not on a new one.That means that every time I press enter,it doesn't give me a fresh,new,empty line in which to type but goes to the one underneath. And there when I try to type I expect the symbols,numbers and letters to move as I add text behind them in the line,but the new symbols keep overwriting the old ones.Sort of deleting them and replacing them with the new characters as I type. Could it be some kinda option I've activated unvoluntarily?

  • Jquery add percent sign to input box

    I'd like to have an input box that automatically adds a visible percent sign to the user when entering numbers (not just recognizes it as a percent when submitting). Thus, a user hits "2" and sees "2%" I'm assuming one could use Jquery to do this fairly easily, but I have no idea how! Any ideas? Thanks everyone.

  • Why can't c# calculate exact values of mathematical functions

    Hey everyone, Why can't c# do any exact operations. Math.Pow(Math.Sqrt(2.0),2) == 2.0000000000000004 I know how doubles work, I know where the rounding error is from, I know that it's almost the correct value, and I know that you can't store infinite numbers in a finite double. But why isn't there a way that c# can calculate it exactly, while my calculator can do it.   • sorting array after array_count_values

    hi to all! I have an array of products $products = array_count_values($products); now I have an array where $key is product number and $value is how many times I have such a product in the array. I want to sort this new array that product with the least "duplicates" are on the first place, but what ever I use (rsort, krsort,..) i loose product numbers (key). any suggestions? thanks.

But I'm not sure where to start with GUI application development.     I need to store multi-dimensional data consisting of numbers in a manner thats easy to work with. I'm capturing data in real time, and once processed I would destroy and GC older data.
