    Hello all , I am using a xib file as a back view in coverflow component . and it is seeing nicely . The code for loading a xib file is : NSArray *array = [[NSBundle mainBundle] loadNibNamed:@"TestMine" owner:nil options:nil]; backView = [array objectAtIndex:0]; Now I want to attach a view controller with this xib without changing the current code .   • Is there a way to load a different cacerts than the one specified in the java_home/jre/lib/security

    I have a single installation of java in a system that runs 2 or 3 applications. All the applications use the same runtime. Is there a way to specify a different keystores for the ca certs than the one in java_home/jre/lib/security. That is, is there an option to specify an "extra" keystore that is loaded and added to the certs loaded from java_home/jre/lib/security/cacerts? What I want to avoid is having to re-import our local ca every time I upgrade the jdk in the box.

    My Rootviewcontroller uses NSURLConnection to get data from a server, and then, based on this data, loads a bunch (like 7) of smaller UIViewControllers that each also use their own NSURLConnection to get some more specific data from the server. But, the problem is, only the RooTViewController is recieving callbacks from: - (void)connectionDidFinishLoading:(NSURLConnection *)theConnection the other UIViewControllers never get callbacks...

  • Can't seem to load a webview from xml, why?

    Well, I'm trying to follow the tutorial from http://rapidandroid.org/wiki/Graphing. But I found a problem just in the first part of it. I'll describe the problem here, I just cannot understand how this could be wrong, it's pretty simple stuff. What am I doing wrong here? First I created a xml file called statistics.xml, in it among other things I put this code: <WebView android:id="@+id/webview" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:layout_width="fill_parent"/> Now in the activity that is supposed to display this webview I'm doing this: public class DisplayStatistics extends Activity { public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.main); WebView wv = (WebView) findViewById(R.id.webview); The problem arises here, as I seem to be getting null for wv whenever I test for it. Which means of course that findViewById(R.id.webview) couldn't find the view. But again, what am I doing wrong?? Of course I know I could also instantiate the webview directly from code without the need to specify it from the xml, but I was just wondering what was wrong about this way of doing it. Just in case I also added the following line in my android manifest file: <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET" /> I'm not really sure if it's necessary for displaying the webview (I think not) but I just put it there to see if that was the problem, and it turned out it isn't.     OK, I don't think the title says it right... but here goes: I have a class with about 40 Enums in it. i.e: Class Hoohoo { public enum aaa : short { a = 0, b = 3 } public enum bbb : short { a = 0, b = 3 } public enum ccc : short { a = 0, b = 3 } } Now say I have a Dictionary of strings and values, and each string is the name of above mentioned enums: Dictionary<string,short>{"aaa":0,"bbb":3,"ccc":0} I need to change "aaa" into HooBoo.aaa to look up 0. Can't seem to find a way to do this since the enum is static. Otherwise I'll have to write a method for each enum to tie the string to it. I can do that but thats mucho code to write. Thanks, Cooter

  • C# app fails to load Matlab DLL when running from a shared drive?

    I have a C# .NET 2.0 program that calls a Matlab .dll file that I created using Matlab Builder for .NET. This Matlab .dll file is a wrapper for a m file function that I need to call from my C# program. Everything works fine when I run this app from my local drive. However once I copy the app to a shared drive the Matlab dll fails when it's first loaded. I setup caspol to allow .NET programs to run from shared drives. Does anyone know what could cause this problem or a tool that I could use to easily figure out what the problem is? Thanks.

    I downloaded Git and GitX for mac and installed it. Now, just for fun, I want to know how I could obtain an repository from GitHub like http://github.com/zoul/Finch.git ?? For me all this Git stuff looks like I have a client and connect to a server in order to get some data from some repository. Like FTP, well not really. But similar. Just one problem: Where to enter that URL? Is there some field for that? Some hidden command? I did manage to create a new project / repository on my mac, but now I have an empty window and no option to suck down that code from GitHub.

  • Load an html table from a mysql database when an onChange event is triggered from a select tag

    So, here's the deal. I have an html table that I want to populate. Specificaly the first row is the one that is filled with elements from a mysql database. To be exact, the table is a questionnaire about mobile phones. The first row is the header where the cellphone names are loaded from the database. There is also a select tag that has company names as options in it. I need to trigger an onChange event on the select tag to reload the page and refill the first row with the new names of mobiles from the company that is currently selected in the dropdown list.     Hey I am building a web page with angular. The problem is that there are somethings already build without angular and I have to include them as well The problem is this. I have something like this in my main.html: <ngInclude src="partial.html"> </ngInclude> And my partial.html has something like this <h2> heading 1 <h2> <script type="text/javascript" src="static/js/partial.js"> </script> And my partial.js has nothing to do with angularjs. nginclude works and I can see the html, but I can not see the javascript file being loaded at all. I know how to use firebug/ chrome-dev-tool, but I can not even see the network request being made. What am I doing wrong? I knwo angular has some special meaning to script tag. Can I override it?

  • How can a link within a WebView load another layout using javascript?

    So I have 2 layout files (main.xml, featured.xml) and both each have a single WebView. When the application starts "main.xml" loads a html file into it's WebView. In this html file I have a link that calls javascript that runs code in the Activity that loaded the html. Once back in this Activity code though I try running setContentView(R.layout.featured) but it just bombs out on me. If I debug it just dies without any real error and if I run it the application just Force closes.
