  From time to time I got the following exception message on GAE for my GAE/J app. I searched with Google, no relevant results were found. Does anyone know about this?   is there a function or regex or anything to group items by a { and } tag? so it should group items by the opening tag { and the closing tag }. but be careful, there are also groups inside parent groups like so: group { text1 group2 { text2 } } so basically think of it like php, you make an opening tag, you need to close it with a closing tag, curly braces in php's case. i just need it to like substr() each group into an associative array somehow, except I cant figure it out with the whole, "group inside a parent group".

  I am currently using PrincipalContext and UserPrincipal to return the users primary groupid. How can I take this id and find the actual group name? Also I have code that works correctly to assign the user's primary group, but once I assign them to the group I can not delete them from Domain Users which is the default primary group prior to my change. I have called Save() before trying to remove the domain users group. My requirements state I must add the user to AD then assign their primary group and then remove them as a member of Domain Users.

  I have an example database, it contains tables for Movies, People and Credits. The Movie table contains a Title and an Id. The People table contains a Name and an Id. The Credits table relates Movies to the People that worked on those Movies, in a particular role. The table looks like this: CREATE TABLE [dbo].[Credits] ( [Id] [int] IDENTITY (1, 1) NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY, [PersonId] [int] NOT NULL FOREIGN KEY REFERENCES People(Id), [MovieId] [int] NOT NULL FOREIGN KEY REFERENCES Movies(Id), [Role] [char] (1) NULL In this simple example, the [Role] column is a single character, by my convention either 'A' to indicate the person was an actor on that particular movie, or 'D' for director. I'd like to perform a query on a particular person that returns the person's name, plus a list of all the movies the person has worked on, and the roles in those movies. If I were to serialize it to json, it might look like this: { "name" : "Clint Eastwood", "movies" : [ { "title": "Unforgiven", "roles": ["actor", "director"] }, { "title": "Sands of Iwo Jima", "roles": ["director"] }, { "title": "Dirty Harry", "roles": ["actor"] }, ... ] } How can I write a LINQ-to-SQL query that shapes the output like that?   I apologise in advance if this has been answered before; it seems so fundamental to me yet I haven't turned up the answer in any of my searches. I have a list of string tuples, say (P1,P2) I'd like to know if there's a LINQ statement where I could group by P1 (in ascending order), and have that group contain all the P2 values for the group (in descending order). For input: ("A","B"), ("A","C"), ("D","B") I'd like to get two groups: "A" and "D" (in that order, every time) where group "A" contains "C" and "B" (in that order, every time) and group "D" contains, well, "B". Is this possible with the built-in LINQ classes or do I need to iterate the groups and sort them myself? Sounds like hard work~

I also have a subset of graph's nodes (true subset) and I need to find a node not belonging to the subset, with minimum sum of distances to all nodes in the subset. So far, I have implemented breath-first search starting from each node in the subset, and the intersection that occurs first is the node I am looking for. • MySQL break out group clause from subquery

  Here is my query SELECT COALESCE(js.name,'Lead saknas'), count(j.id) FROM jobs j LEFT JOIN job_sources js ON j.job_source=js.id LEFT JOIN (SELECT * FROM quotes GROUP BY job_id) q ON j.id=q.job_id GROUP BY j.job_source The problem is that it's allowed for each job to have more than one quote. Because of that i group the quotes by job_id. Now sure, this works. But i don't like the solution with a subquery. How can i break out the group clause from the subquery to the main query? I have tried to add q.job_id to the main group clause, both before and after the existing one but don't get the same results.
