  • log4j: Change format of loggers configured in another library.

    Using clojure, I've been able to successfully setup log4j very simply by using this log4j.properties file, and including log4j in my classpath. # BEGIN log4j.properties log4j.appender.STDOUT=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender log4j.appender.STDOUT.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout log4j.appender.STDOUT.layout.ConversionPattern=%d{MMdd HHmmss SSS} %5p %c [%t] %m\n log4j.rootLogger=DEBUG, STDOUT Then after :use'ing clojure.contrib.logging, I'm able to print a statement with the desired formatting as expected like so: (info "About to print this") (debug "This is debug-level") My question is how to achieve a consistent formatting for logging statements made from loggers configured in other libraries. I thought I could find existing loggers using org.apache.log4j.LogManager.getCurrentLoggers() and change the PatternLayouts there, but I'm not able to iterate over that enumeration in clojure, as I get the following error: Dont know how to create ISeq from: java.util.Vector$1 I assume this is possible somehow, and probably very simply.   • How can I get rid of the resize-handle in a QDialog?

    I've got the following class: class SelectDateDialog(QDialog): startDate = date.today() endDate = date.today() def __init__(self, text, isInterval = False): QDialog.__init__(self) uic.loadUi("resources/SelectDate.ui", self) Now, the dialog is resizable on Mac OS X 10.5, but it shouldn't be. It has the resize-handle in the lower right corner. I've already tried the setSizeGripEnabled function, it didn't change anything. How can I make it not resizable?

  • XmlDocument.WriteTo truncates resultant file

    Trying to serialize an XmlDocument to file. The XmlDocument is rather large; however, in the debugger I can see that the InnerXml property has all of the XML blob in it -- it's not truncated there. Here's the code that writes my XmlDocument object to file: // Write that string to a file. var fileStream = new FileStream("AdditionalData.xml", FileMode.OpenOrCreate, FileAccess.Write); xmlDocument.WriteTo(new XmlTextWriter(fileStream, Encoding.UTF8) {Formatting = Formatting.Indented}); fileStream.Close(); The file that's produced here only writes out to line like 5,760 -- it's actually truncated in the middle of a tag! Anyone have any ideas why this would truncate here?

  • SSRS default renderer strips html tags

    For TFS task work item, I copy a table from ms word 2003/2007 document and paste it into the description field (supports rich text). When the task item is saved, correct formatting is saved in TFS database table. But when the same data is displayed in a SSRs report (through report manager) the formatting is lost. Probably the ssrs rendering engine is stripping off the tags. I have the "HTML-Interpret HTML tags as styles" enabled for the report field. It will be of great help if someone can provide more information on this issue and how it can be handled. Thanks.

  • UIDatePicker inside UIScrollView with pages

    I have a UIScrollView with 2 pages, and I can scroll horizontally between them. However, on one of my pages, I have a UIDatePicker, and the scroll view is intercepting the vertical touch events so I can no longer manipulate the date picker (except by clicking or tapping). Is there some way to tell the ScrollView to send the vertical touch events to the date picker, but send the horizontal touch events to the scroll view to switch pages?

  • A reasonable way to add attributes to an xml root element in C#.

    The function "WriteStartElement" does not return anything. I find this a little bizzare. So up until now I have been doing it like this. XmlDocument xmlDoc = new XmlDocument(); XmlTextWriter xmlWriter = new XmlTextWriter(m_targetFilePath, System.Text.Encoding.UTF8); xmlWriter.Formatting = Formatting.Indented; xmlWriter.WriteProcessingInstruction("xml", "version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'"); xmlWriter.WriteStartElement("client"); xmlWriter.Close(); xmlDoc.Load(m_targetFilePath); XmlElement root = xmlDoc.DocumentElement; Saving the doc, then reloading it to get hold of the start element so i can write attributes to it. Does anybody know the correct way of doing this because I'm pretty sure what I'm doing isn't right. I tried to use xmlWriter.AppendChild() but it doesnt seem to write out anything. :(

    Hi, I do not uderstand why the result of: (DateTime.Now.Subtract(user.created_time.Value.Date)).Hours is 23. where: DateTime.Now is:{3/30/2010 12:00:00 AM} and user.created_time.Value.Date is : {3/24/2010 12:00:00 AM} Does it make sense for anybody? ps: I want to select all users created in last 72 hours so i suppose that is the way i should do...
