  • How do you make the scale animation begin at the middle of the object instead of the top left?

    What I am trying to accomplish: 10 percent increase scale transformation of a rectangle via Silverlight storyboard animation. What I currently doing: While in Expression Blend 3, I created a rectangle, created a storyboard, and created the scale transformation. The preview looked correct because the increase in scale begins in the middle of the object. When I run the project the scale transformation begins at the top left. Is there some piece of code missing?   • DBConcurrencyException happening on second delete

    My code keeps throwing a DBConcurrencyException ("Concurrency violation: the DeleteCommand affected 0 of the expected 1 records.) when I make a second update to the data table. The problem actually happens on a table that is linked to a parent table. The two tables, CashReceipts and CashReceiptsApplyTo are displayed on the same winform, and when I delete two cash receipts the update on cash receipt apply to's table fails with the dbconcurrencyexception (the table is updated everytime the binding source [linked to a binding navigator] changes position).   • PHP resized image functions and S3 upload functions - but how to merge the two?

    I am using S3 to store images and I am resizing and compressing images before it gets uploaded using PHP. I'm using this class for storing the images to an S3 bucket - http://undesigned.org.za/2007/10/22/amazon-s3-php-class This all works fine if I'm not doing any file processing before the file is uploaded because it reads the file upload from the $_FILES array. The problem is I am resizing and compressing the image before storing to the S3 bucket. So I'm no longer able to read from the $_FILES array.     I want to do the login page this way so that I won't be having trouble posting the username in the userpage. But everytime I try to access login.php. I get an error in firefox, that the page is not redirecting properly. What do I do? This works when I separate them into two. Into something like, login.php and verifylogin.php as the form action.   • What's causing this background-image to display "incorrectly" in Opera and Firefox?

    I know this is something I'm probably doing wrong, so please don't incinerate me for the thread title. I'm trying to put together a small personal website using HTML 5/CSS3. I've checked with the w3c validator and the site and CSS file fully conform according to the validator (However the validator has a warning attached that it might not be perfect). I'm not sure how to explain it without a picture, so here's a comparison of Chrome/Opera/Firefox: So, you can sorta see how in Chrome the background image is in one non-repeating piece, whereas in Opera/Firefox the image has, oddly, been broken up and placed slightly differently. I'm confident this is due to an error on my part, but I've had no luck at all figuring out why the image is being mangled in Opera and Firefox.   • Gallery with different image width and numeration

    I have been searching a lot and could not get anything closer (all sliders use same witdh images as nivo slider and etc) This is the gallery I want to do on a website: http://loscarpinteros.net/#exhibition?i=22 As you can see it load images with different width (on same height) and it has a numeration like 1/5 pics. Do you know any plugin that does this kind of gallery or any script that I can us to get a similar result?

  • Property trigger in XAML for IsMouseOver fails to set Border.Background

    I'm currently trying to create a ControlTemplate for the Button class in WPF, replacing the usual visual tree with something that makes the button look similar to the little (X) close icon on Google Chrome's tabs. I decided to use a Path object in XAML to achieve the effect. Using a property trigger, the control responds to a change in the IsMouseOver property by setting the icon's red background. The problem with this is that the trigger just isn't working. Nothing changes in the button's appearance. However, if I remove the Background="Transparent" value from the Border object in the ControlTemplate, the trigger does work (albeit only when over the 'X'). I really can't explain this. Setters for any other properties placed in the borderStyle resource work fine, but the Background setter fails as soon as the default background is specified in the ControlTemplate. Any ideas why it's happening and how I can fix it? I know I could easily replace this code with, for example, a .PNG-based image, but I want to understand why the current implementation isn't working. Thanks! :)
