  Hi friends, I'm a drupal newbie... I researched but couldnot find :/ is there any predefined variable that gives my CCK field value count? for example; I have field_logo_sponsor and I need to display all logo items.   I want to automate the execution of Maven release:prepare with Perl so that the user doesn't have to answer the prompts for version names etc. Are there a -D arguments that can be supplied so that no prompting is done? I tried the obvious solution which is to feed the prompt answers to mvn via perl code like this: my $cmd = qq(mvn release:prepare -DautoVersionSubmodules=true-DpreparationGoals="clean install"); open MVN, "| $cmd"; print MVN "\n"; # default print MVN "$cur_version"; print MVN "\n"; print MVN "$next_version"; print MVN "\n"; close MVN; but mvn ignores such input and winds up using the defaults (and doesn't prompt either). • Resizing the Camera Preview

  I have implemented a camera application, which will show the preview in the entire screen of the device. But my requirement is to show the Camera preview in a small screen. My device resolution is 800x480(WxH) i.e, Nexus one. I can able to show the preview in the entire screen without scale down the preview. Its coming perfectly, but when i try show the preview in small screens(part of my total mobile screen), the preview is getting stretched and not looking good. Is there any way to show the preview correctly in a small screen. I think we need to scale down the image preview. But when i try to scale down the image preview, the android system itself doesn't allowing to set the scaled preview size. Could any one please help me how to scale the image preview in small screen.

  SQL Server 2008 R2 Here is a simplified example: EXECUTE sp_executesql N'PRINT ''1st '' + convert(varchar, getdate(), 126) WAITFOR DELAY ''000:00:10''' EXECUTE sp_executesql N'PRINT ''2nd '' + convert(varchar, getdate(), 126)' The first statement will print the date and delay 10 seconds before proceeding. The second statement should print immediately. The way T-SQL works, the 2nd statement won't be evaluated until the first completes. If I copy and paste it to a new query window, it will execute immediately. The issue is that I have other, more complex things going on, with variables that need to be passed to both procedures. What I am trying to do is: Get a record Lock it for a period of time while it is locked, execute some other statements against this record and the table itself Perhaps there is a way to dynamically create a couple of jobs? Anyway, I am looking for a simple way to do this without having to manually PRINT statements and copy/paste to another session. Is there a way to EXEC without wait / in parallel?

  I always assumed that changing the value of k from "x" to 20 would eliminate "x". So why then in this example are we able to go back and reference "x"? a = {} k = "x" a[k] = 10 print(a[k]) ---> Returns 10 print(a["x"]) ---> Returns 10 a[20] = "great" k = 20 print(a[k]) ---> "great" a["x"] = a["x"] + 1 print(a["x"]) --> 11 Why does that last print command work, and return 11? I thought we set k = 20. Why is "x" even in the picture?

• Can I have an android activity run only on the first time an application is opened?

  OK, so I'm playing around with an android app. The 90% use case is that users want to go straight to the primary list screen to find what they're looking for. That's what I want as my default screen. The first time a user loads the app however, some configuration is required before their list screen is of any value to them. So my question, is how I can go about displaying the configuration activity the first time the app is opened up, and then the list screen for future openings. I also want to put a demo button on the configuration screen, so I suppose more than just detecting that it's the first time, I specifically want to detect whether the user has performed certain configurations within the first screen.

• Installing XP through USB-flash disc

  I don't know whether this could be asked here... So, Pardon me for this. Probably, this is based on My laptop and a contradiction to this question asked already here... I tried to format my "government-provided" laptop (No CD-drive). I thought those IT guys are proving that they're too smart..! I have the Windows XP CD right now. I didn't like to stick with some home-made OS from our Government. So, I used another laptop to format the govt. thing and tried to install XP (As I didn't have enough bills to invest on Windows 7 or 8). Case 1: First, I allowed WinSetupFromUSB 1.0 beta 8 to deal with the flash disk. I wondered for the first time that XP text-screen appeared. Using the first part, I formatted my laptop. It started to copy files, entered into the next part, and completed the installation. I started my PC for the first time. XP splash screen appeared. Suddenly, a blue screen flashed and disappeared (I can't even read what it says). Rebooted and arrived at the screen, "Start Windows Normally". It happens and happens still - like an infinite loop :-) Case 2: Next, I used Rufus 1.2.0 to transfer files to my Flash and it screwed everything out. Even if I used Flash to boot, it arrives to the same screen "Start Windows normally". It doesn't show any response of Flash being inserted. Then I recognized that, It's simply copies everything to the flash disk. Case 3: Then, I started with Novicorp WinToFlash (giving utmost priority to this site). I booted with the disk. I entered into the first part - "Text mode". Some lines started running like that "Press F6 if you..." like that. The last thing I saw was, "Setup is starting Windows..." Suddenly a blue screen appeared like this captured one. I've a suspicion that the same screen appears again & again in first case. Man, I'm dead. Case 4: For the sake of my last hope, I used WinSetupFromUSB 0.1.1. I was shocked on arriving at a screen which says something "GRUB4DOS" like that and some commands like {command line, reboot, halt, \find menu.lst} and when I go inside those "find" options, I see "Error:15 - File not found". Googling provided some commands to mount SETUPLDR.BIN file in the "grub" thing which also proved unsuccessful... Some sites say that Factory reset uses only some function keys. A guy said that it's F11 for lenovo. Screw him. It's all a waste-of-time. But, I think SE would help me out. Is our government IT guys doin' this to me? Are they Soooo smart to spark some blue screen in front of me to freak me out? Any suggestions or new (useful) USB transferring things would be appreciated. It's very urgent. So, It'd be better if you guys pay some attention in debugging and help me out..? Thanks for your time guys :-)

While executing script I am getting an error message saying "Error sending mail: Connection error from mail.utiba.com on port 465 ()". However the connection to the mail server is working fine, I can connect to the mail server using other mail clients. Please suggest what I am doing wrong here.   I have just over 1500 html pages (1.html to 1500.html). I have written a code using Beautiful Soup that extracts most of the data I need but "misses" out some of the data within the table. For some reason my code does not pull out all the required data but "misses" some data, e.g the Address1 and Address 2 data at the start of the table do not come out. I modified the code to put in * and === separators, I then use perl to put into a clean csv file, unfortunately I'm not sure how to work my code to get all the data I'm looking for!

Why does crystal reports show a print dialog even when I pass false for promptUser? And how, then, can I suppress crystal reports' internal printer selection dialog and force it to use my values? Edit: Whoops, CR11, not CR9. Some further information: The reports that work properly (ie, do not show the print dialog) are generated internally using the RDC API; we create a new report object, import subreports into it, then print the result. No problem there. The reports that do not work properly (ie, force the print dialog to open) have been created with a previous version of crystal reports; however, opening and saving the report does not seem to help. Sample reports in the Crystal Reports installation directory show the same problem.
