• javax.naming.InvalidNameException using Oracle BPM and weblogic when accessing directory

  We are getting this exception when we start our cluster (2 managed servers, 1 admin), we have deployed only the ears corresponding to the OBPM 10.3.1 SP1 in a weblogic 10.3. When the server cluster starts, one of the managed servers (the first to start) get overloaded and ran out of connections to the directory DB because of this repeatedly error. It looks like the engine is trying to get the info from the LDAP server but I don't know why it is building a wrong query. fuego.directory.DirectoryRuntimeException: Exception • In SQL Server can I insert multiple nodes into XML from a table?

  I want to generate some XML in a stored procedure based on data in a table. The following insert allows me to add many nodes but they have to be hard-coded or use variables (sql:variable): SET @MyXml.modify(' insert <myNode> {sql:variable("@MyVariable")} </myNode> into (/root[1]) ') So I could loop through each record in my table, put the values I need into variables and execute the above statement. But is there a way I can do this by just combining with a select statement and avoiding the loop? Edit I have used SELECT FOR XML to do similar stuff before but I always find it hard to read when working with a hierarchy of data from multiple tables. I was hoping there would be something using the modify where the XML generated is more explicit and more controllable.

• jQuery animate() - multiple selectors and variables, a unique animate() call

  Hi guys, I am resizing several divs in a loop with animate() in jQuery. At the same time I am moving (left property, no resizing at all) the div where they are contained. Problem is, despite they have same duration the resize animate calls finish before the move call. They are out of sync. Is there any way of creating a list of selectors and its properties and then run a unique animate() call? Or, is there any alternative to make multiple animations happen at the same time? I've seen there's a property called step that happens every time animate loop happens but, again, each animate() call has it's own step call. Thanks in advance :)

  Hello. I have a list of urls (content type usage url's). Now, content types are deployed across web's. I need to loop those content types and do some actions in each list, but opening new SPWeb instance every loop is too resource intensive. Is there built-in method to tell me if this URL belongs to certain SPWeb object? Example: SPWeb's may be http://server/web1 http://server/web2 http://server/web2/subweb1 http://server/web2/subweb2 With content type usage links like: /web2/Pages /web2/Lists/Tasks /web2/Lists/Documents /web2/subweb1/Lists/Tasks ... As you can see, for first 3 usages i don't need to open up new SPWeb

• Get User SID From Logon ID (Windows XP and Up)

  I have a Windows service that needs to access registry hives under HKEY_USERS when users log on, either locally or via Terminal Server. I'm using a WMI query on win32_logonsession to receive events when users log on, and one of the properties I get from that query is a LogonId. To figure out which registry hive I need to access, now, I need the users's SID, which is used as a registry key name beneath HKEY_USERS. In most cases, I can get this by doing a RelatedObjectQuery like so (in C#): RelatedObjectQuery relatedQuery = new RelatedObjectQuery( "associators of {Win32_LogonSession.LogonId='" + logonID + "'} WHERE AssocClass=Win32_LoggedOnUser Role=Dependent" ); where "logonID" is the logon session ID from the session query. Running the RelatedObjectQuery will generally give me a SID property that contains exactly what I need. There are two issues I have with this. First and most importantly, the RelatedObjectQuery will not return any results for a domain user that logs in with cached credentials, disconnected from the domain. Second, I'm not pleased with the performance of this RelatedObjectQuery --- it can take up to several seconds to execute. Here's a quick and dirty command line program I threw together to experiment with the queries. • Qtestlib: QNetworkRequest not executed

  I would like to test an asynchronous request to a webserver. • List all possible combinations of k integers between 1...n (n choose k)

  Hi, Out of no particular reason I decided to look for an algorithm that produces all possible choices of k integers between 1...n, where the order amongst the k integer doesn't matter (the n choose k thingy). From the exact same reason, which is no reason at all, I also implemented it in C#. My question is: Do you see any mistake in my algorithm or code? And, more importantly, can you suggest a better algorithm? Please pay more attention to the algorithm than the code itself. It's not the prettiest code I've ever written, although do tell if you see an error. EDIT: Alogirthm explained - We hold k indices. This creates k nested for loops, where loop i's index is indices[i]. It simulates k for loops where indices[i+1] belongs to a loop nested within the loop of indices[i]. indices[i] runs from indices[i - 1] + 1 to n - k + i + 1. • IE positioning problems

• Boost::Asio : io_service.run() vs poll() or how do I integrate boost::asio in mainloop

  Hi, I am currently trying to use boost::asio for some simple tcp networking for the first time, and I allready came across something I am not really sure how to deal with. As far as I understand io_service.run() method is basically a loop which runs until there is nothing more left to do, which means it will run until I release my little server object. Since I allready got some sort of mainloop set up, I would rather like tp update the networking loop manually from there just for the sake of simplicity, and I think io_service.poll() would do what I want, sort of like this: void myApplication::update() { myIoService.poll(); //do other stuff } This seems to work, but I am still wondering if there is a drawback from this method since that does not seem to be the common way to deal with boost::asios io services. Is this a valid approach or should I rather use io_service.run() in a non blocking extra thread?

• Objective C: Create arrays from first array based on value

  I have an array of strings that are comma separated such as: Steve Jobs,12,CA Fake Name,21,CA Test Name,22,CA Bill Gates,44,WA Bill Nye,21,OR I have those values in an NSScanner object so that I can loop through the values and get each comma seperated value using objectAtIndex. So, what I would like to do, is group the array items into new arrays, based on a value, in this case, State. So, from those, I need to loop through, checking which state they are in, and push those into a new array, one array per state. CA Array: Steve Jobs,12,CA Fake Name,21,CA Test Name,22,CA WA Array: Bill Gates,44,WA OR Array: Bill Nye,21,OR So in the end, I would have 3 new arrays, one for each state. Also, if there were additional states used in the first array, those should have new arrays created also. Any help would be appreciated!

• SQL Server stored procedures - update column based on variable name..?

  Hi, I have a data driven site with many stored procedures. What I want to eventually be able to do is to say something like: For Each @variable in sproc inputs UPDATE @TableName SET @variable.toString = @variable Next I would like it to be able to accept any number of arguments. It will basically loop through all of the inputs and update the column with the name of the variable with the value of the variable - for example column "Name" would be updated with the value of @Name. I would like to basically have one stored procedure for updating and one for creating. However to do this I will need to be able to convert the actual name of a variable, not the value, to a string. Question 1: Is it possible to do this in T-SQL, and if so how? Question 2: Are there any major drawbacks to using something like this (like performance or CPU usage)? I know if a value is not valid then it will only prevent the update involving that variable and any subsequent ones, but all the data is validated in the vb.net code anyway so will always be valid on submitting to the database, and I will ensure that only variables where the column exists are able to be submitted. Basically the website uses an object oriented architecture. There are many classes - for example Product - which have many "Attributes" (I created my own class called Attribute, which has properties such as DataField, Name and Value where DataField is used to get or update data, Name is displayed on the administration frontend when creating or updating a Product and the Value, which may be displayed on the customer frontend, is set by the administrator. DataField is the field I will be using in the "UPDATE Blah SET @Field = @Value". I know this is probably confusing but its really complicated to explain - I have a really good understanding of the entire system in my head but I cant put it into words easily. Basically the structure is set up such that no user will be able to change the value of DataField or Name, but they can change Value. I think if I were to use dynamic parameterised SQL strings there will therefore be no risk of SQL injection attacks. I mean basically loop through all the attributes so that it ends up like: UPDATE Products SET [Name] = '@Name', Description = '@Description', Display = @Display Then loop through all the attributes again and add the parameter values - this will have the same effect as using stored procedures, right?? I dont mind adding to the page load time since this is mainly going to affect the administration frontend, and will marginly affect the customer frontend.

  A query (see below) that extracts climate data from weather stations within a given radius of a city using the dates for which those weather stations actually have data.   I need to get a XML File into a Database. Thats not the problem. Cant read it, parse it and create some Objects to map to the DB. Problem is, that sometimes the XML File can contain namespaces and sometimes not. Furtermore sometimes there is no namespace defined at all. • c#: exporting swf object as image to Word

  Hello in my Asp.net web page (C# on backend) I use a Repeater, whose items consist of a title and a Flex chart (embedded .swf file). I am trying to export the contents of the Repeater to a Word document. My problem is to convert the SWF files into images and pass it on to the Word document. The swf object has a public function which returns a byteArray representation of itself (public function grabScreen():ByteArray), but I do not know how to call it directly from c#. I have access to the mxml files, so I can make modifications to the swf files, if needed. I store the votes in a table with values as such; vote_id | vote_comment_id | vote_user_id | vote_date | vote_type Now I have few a question concerned the speed and efficiency for the following; PROB: Once a user opens the picture page with comments I need, if that user has already voted UP/DOWN a comment to show it like; "you voted up" or "you voted down" next to the comment (in SO it the vote image is highlighted) MY POSSIBLE SOL: Right now when I open a picture page for each comment I loop thru, I loop thru my table of votes as well and check if a user has voted and show the status (I compare the vote_user_id with the user's session). How efficient is this? Anyone have a better approach to tackle this kind of problem?

  I have an ASP.NET application that accesses private key in a certificate in the certificates store. On Windows Server 2003 I was able to use winhttpcertcfg.exe to give private key access to the NETWORK SERVICE account. How do I give permissions to access a Private Key in a certificate in the certificate store (Local Computer\Personal) on a Windows Server 2008 R2 in an IIS 7.5 website? I've tried giving Full Trust access to "Everyone", "IIS AppPool\DefaultAppPool", "IIS_IUSRS", and everyother security account I could find using the Certificates MMC (Server 2008 R2). However the below code demonstrates that the code does not have access to the Private Key of a certificate that was imported with the private key. The code instead throws and error everytime the private key property is accessed. When thrown nothing is painted. Another interesting thing is the timing of the throwing. I am unable to find any logical patern, as sometimes it is thrown as soon as I initiate the class and sometimes it needs more then five minutes. In addition to this, as far as I tested there is no single action that calls repaint() that triggers it or rather all do. I am new to Java and all the other exceptions had the class and row number of where they were thrown so I don't know what to do here. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. • How to "kill" background worker completely?

  Hi All, I am writing a windows application that runs a sequence of digital IO actions repeatedly. This sequence of actions starts when the user click a "START" button, and it is done by a background worker in backgroundWorker1_DoWork(). However, there are occasions when I get the "This backgroundworker is currently busy......." error message. I am thinking of implementing the following in the code, by using a while loop to "kill" the background worker before starting another sequence of action: if (backgroundWorker1.IsBusy == true) { backgroundWorker1.CancelAsync(); while (backgroundWorker1.IsBusy == true) { backgroundWorker1.CancelAsync(); } backgroundWorker1.Dispose(); } backgroundWorker1.RunWorkerAsync(); I think my main concern is, will the backgroundWorker1 be "killed" eventually? If it will, will it take a long time to complete it? Will this coding get me into an infinite loop?
