  • as3 air for android download folder and contents

    Is it possible to download a folder and its contents using air for android? I would like to also use the same code on iPhone. I need it to be stored in the application storage so we can reference the content once downloaded. I know it's possible to download content as referenced in this question: Download Content using Air For Android but can a person download the entire folder and again store it in the application directory?   • Linking win32 dll in Qt

    Hi, I want to reference a win32 dll from my Qt application. I've added the dll location in the .pro file at "LIBS+=" . Once that is done, by right, i should be able to include the .h file inside the dll from my application. But i'm unable to do so.   • How to break out of a loop depending on a CheckBox Checked value while the loop is running?

    Lets say I want to call a function repeatedly if the user selects a CheckBox named "repeat" but the calls to the function should stop as soon as the user 'unchecks' the CheckBox. I tried using the 'Checked', 'Click' and 'Tap' event of the CheckBox but once the loop starts, it does not sense any changes in the checkbox's state. I even tried using a loop inside another button's _Click method, but then that creates a lock on the Button's 'pressed' state. Any ideas/alternate suggestions?

In other words, do I need boost library, if I have complete standard conforming C++11 compiler ? Is there any way of writing a method like createArray(typeof(int), firstDimension, secondDimension); and getting new int[firstDimension][secondDimension]? Once again, type of elements is known only at runtime.

I have an event listener on FlexEvent.CREATION_COMPLETE to create and add display-objects once things are running, but I don't know the right way to do this in Flash? edit: Maybe if my class subclasses Sprite rather than a Flex class, I can add children in the constructor, I don't need to wait for a "construction complete" event?

  • Any samples of MVC2 + Silverlight 4? Visual Studio 2010 does not organize the files correctly.

    I create a SL4 Application and then I say I want to create a MVC site in addition. But instead of create a VIEW and putting showing the SL4 object there and creating a empty MVC type Default page... it just creates a SilverlightApplicationTestPage.aspx in the root! Does anyone know any small sample code anywhere that shows how to set up various .xap files within a MVC app. It should be simple. (I want to put the MVC2 app into Azure once I get this working)

Now I would like to implement my projects in an efficient way, whether it is a web project in PHP or an Android application.     Hi Guys, In my iPhone app, I have many ASCII arts which I need to insert into the database. I am using the simulator and pasting the textpic in the textview to insert the ASCII art to database. Here the clipboard of simulator once pastes the art properly but when I copy another art then too it pastes the previous art into textview. How to solve this problem? I have a second class, class B, which I would like to use to call the method from class A. But, now how do I call that method from class A and store what is returned in a var in class B?     This is sort of a follow-up to this question. If there are multiple blobs with the same contents, they are only stored once in the git repository because their SHA-1's will be identical. How would one go about finding all duplicate files for a given tree? Would you have to walk the tree and look for duplicate hashes, or does git provide backlinks from each blob to all files in a tree that reference it?

  • Copying subversion commit messages

    I know this isn't the BEST practice, but every once in a while when I'm merging up a huge batch up changes with the trunk (and I know my branch is current), I will simply delete the contents of the trunk and then copy the contents of my branch up, so that I don't have to deal with resolving conflicts for an hour. The problem is that I seem to lose the entire history of commit messages for each file. My branch still has the correct history of commit messages... how can I merge them up?
