    I am running Office Communicator 2007 R2 and Outlook 2010 on a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. I am storing my conversation history from Communicator in Exchange in the default folder, "Conversation History". I'm using the conversation view in Outlook. And I have a Gmail-like macro to archive my conversations to an "Archive" folder. I want to search all my mail and conversations at once. By default, Outlook is searching in the current folder only. I tried creating a rule to move the conversations to my Archive folder, but couldn't configure it correctly.

    I just set up an Exchange server to replace my DeskNow mail server. I want to start testing my internet mail exchange of my Exchange server. I can only set the MX records on my DNS up to my one external IP address so I was thinking that I could set up a firewall rule on my internet-facing firewall that port forwarded the smtp packets to two different servers. My question is: If I do that, will that mean that the smtp packets will be forwarded to just the first internal IP on the list? Or does it mean that the packet will be cloned and sent to both IPs?

    Ok, so assume that I have an ingress access list that looks like this: access-list outside_in extended ip permit any X.Y.Z.1 eq 25 access-group outside_in in interface outside And I want to do egress filtering. I want to allow inside machines to respond on port 80, and I want to allow ports over 1024. Given that the firewall is statefull, do I need to have the rule access-list inside_in extended ip permit X.Y.Z.1 any eq 25 in my inside_in ACL, or can I get away with just access-list inside_in extended ip permit any any gt 1024 access-group inside_in in interface inside In other words, if I apply an egress access list, do I have to explicitly allow machines to respond to requests allowed by the ingress access list, or does the statefullness of the firewall handle that for me?     I'm trying to write from a loop to a data frame in R, for example a loop like this for (i in 1:20) { print(c(i+i,i*i,i/1))} and to write each line of 3 values to a data frame with three columns, so that each iteration takes on a new row. I've tried using matrix, with ncol=3 and filled by rows, but only get the last item from the loop. Thanks.

  • Unable to diagnose Windows 7 lockup

    Basic info: Laptop Dell Studio XPS 13 (Intel P9600, 4GB RAM, NVidia 9400M card, 256G Samsung PM800 SSD) Windows 7 Ultimate, as well as Fedora 14 Here's the deal - Windows would just lock up out of nowhere, no log entries, no dumps, no BSOD, it just freezes. This happens mostly when idle (but it happened when I was using it too) and does not follow a concrete time frame. No input is accepted - only solution is to hold the power button. Although this sounds like a clean cut hardware issue, the reason I'm willing to rule this out is that my primary OS is Fedora 14. It's been working fine for the past 2 years and I've been stress testing the hardware (intentionally or not) every once in a while with no issues. I would like to ask if there's any way to get a diagnostic output from Windows in a situation such as this. The next step in my testing is to leave it in Safe Mode overnight and see if it locks up but even if I do that, I still need to figure out what component freezes it up during normal operation.

I have three different types of permissions like Admin, Leads, Programmers. These all three will have access to the gridview. Except admin if anyone tries to edit the gridview on clicking the edit option, I need to give an alert like This row has important validation and make sure you make proper changes. When I edit, the action with happen on table called Application. The table has a column called Comments. Also the alert should happen only when they try to edit rows where the Comments column have these values in them.   • Does string concatenation use StringBuilder internally?

    Three of my coworkers just told me that there's no reason to use a StringBuilder in place of concatenation using the + operator. In other words, this is fine to do with a bunch of strings: myString1 + myString2 + myString3 + myString4 + mySt... The rationale that they used was that since .NET 2, the C# compiler will build the same IL if you use the + operator as if you used a StringBuilder. This is news to me. Are they correct?

    I've installed libevent on my server in the directory root/data/ and have i'm about to install memcached with ./configure –with-lib-event=/data/; make; make install However, after running a bit I get this error saying i'm pointing to the wrong directory for libevent. checking for libevent directory... configure: error: libevent is required. You can get it from http://www.monkey.org/~provos/libevent/ If it's already installed, specify its path using --with-libevent=/dir/ make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.   • Corrupted attachments in Thunderbird forward filter

    I created a filter in Thunderbird 14 on client A that, when a certain rule on incoming mail is satisfied, the same mail is forwarded to client B and C. Matching mails received from A are always forwarded to B and C, and that's what I want. Though, when the mail on A has an attachment, it is also forwarded by B and C but the file they receive is corrupted. In my case the incoming file on A is a Word file of about 10kb in size; clients B and C receive a Word file of 27 bytes. I think this could happen because the forward starts from A when the attachment is not yet completely downloaded. I'm not sure this is the cause, though. And I wouldn't have any idea for a fix. Any idea about how to investigate or solve the issue?

    Hi guys, I have a flashplayer on my website. Behind it, there is an xml file which keeps the configuration of the products shown on that flashplayer. I do not understand why, if i modify something in the xml config file, the flash player is not updated at that moment, but after hours... Do you know why? I have not defined any rule for output caching in IIS7 so there is probably something default? Of course, i've tried Ctrl+f5 but does not work. Thanks.

    I have a W2008 R2 installed on a different network (I am on 192.168.0.x - new server on 192.168.3.x) I had trouble ping and RDP to it. I disabled the firewall to test the connection: and that opened the ping feature but I still can not RDP to that machine. the allow remote access is enabled As per sinni80 idea - Here is the error message The networks are divided by a Fortigate 60-B router - 2ndy interface for the gateway is 192.168.3.254 (and pingable from all) any to any rule on both networks is in place. As per Joe Schmoe idea - I am able to RDP to 192.168.3.1 from 192.168.3.3 (which is on the same network) Data to add: - The servers are on a VM host, each of the servers has 2 nics one is DHCP enabled into the 192.168.0.x network 2nd is static IP in the 192.168.3.x -- Further information: The network 192.168.0.x - are on a domain network (active Directory) The network 192.168.3.x - are grouped in a workgroup What should I check more please?
