  I'm building a pretty basic app, and one thing I want to do is pass an object as a parameter up through the service - async - impl instead of passing up a million separate parameters. so in async, I do something like this: import shared.Profile; ... public interface ProfileServiceAsync { public void addProfile(Profile inProf, AsyncCallback<Void> async); Now, profile is a class in com. ... .shared and I have the following in my ... .gwt.xml <source path='shared'/> That being said when I try to compile I get this error. [ERROR] Errors in 'file:/D:/projects/eclipse/workspace/.../src/com/.../client/ProfileServiceAsync.java' [ERROR] Line 11: No source code is available for type shared.Profile; did you forget to inherit a required module? Any ideas on this?

• Get name and value from the input tag

  Before you say "oh no, not again" here I'm stating my case. I'm parsing part of HTML output and the only thing I'm interested in is name and value attributes of each <input/ tag. HTML is actually HTML fragment, may not be well-formed. I don't have DOM or HTML parser and I don't try to parse nested elements anyway. The problem is that I don't know the order or number of attributes so it could be <input name="foo" value="boo"/> or <input type="hidden" name=foo> or <input id=blah value='boo' src="image.png" name="foo" type="img"/>. Is there a single regular expression that would get me values of name and value attribute in predictable order? I wouldn't have asked the question if I could assume that name attribute always precedes value but unfortunately this is not the case

• expiring image assets referenced from stylesheets

  So rails appends timestamps to CSS, JS and image files: image_tag 'foo.png' => <img src="foo.png?123123123123' /> # or somethin like that ...which is really useful for doing far-future expiration, etc. with Apache's help. But what about images referenced from stylesheets? They don't get an appended timestamp. So it seems to me that it's entirely possible to update one of those images, redeploy, and then not see the file change because the browser doesn't think it's been updated. Unless I'm missing something. If I'm not, is there a decent solution to this problem?

  I have a div which wraps a number of images that are generated dynamically. I don't know how high the list of images is. My problem is the div that contains the dynamically generated images doesn't behave like it is housing any content - I want it to extend to the height of the list of images. Each image is itself wrapped in a div. This is the wrapper div: .block { padding:10px; margin-top:10px; height:auto; background-color:#f9f9f9; } This is the markup dynamically generated for (one of) the images: <div class="block"> <div style="float: left; padding: 2px 2px 2px 2px;"><IMG SRC="45.jpg" BORDER="0"/></div> ..... • Project hosting on Google Code. Files are cached?

  I do not really understand how Google Code handles file versioning. I am building a jQuery plugin that anyone can access. Like so: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://jquery-old-browser-warning.googlecode.com/files/jquery.browser-warning.js"></script> This script accesses other files on the same project (via ajax). The problem is, that when I upload a new file, it just seems like there aren't any changed to it. Google recommends that new files should have new names. But then I would have to change the filenames that the script loads. But then I would have to change the script file as well, and that would break everybodys implementation (with the script-tag above) Is there a way to force a file to change when uploading with the same filename? PS: If I go directly to the project page's file list. Then I do get the file with the updated content. But as I said, not when getting it through ajax.

  Hello, I am using a separate PHP file as a configuration file for everything else on a basic ecommerce site. $product1["short"] = "product one"; $product1["menuimgslideshowsrc"] = "image/product1.jpg"; When I hover over a button, I want to get $product1["menuimgslideshowsrc"] and swap it out with an IMG SRC. I can do the swapping no problem, I need to know how to get the information stored in $product1["menuimgslideshowsrc"]. I assume I would use Ajax, but I am open to other ideas. Thanks in advance.

• Function from other module not detecting

  I two modules in same src folder. mod1 declares function I wish to use in module mod2: -module(mod1). -export([myfunc/1]). myfunc(A) -> {ok}. In other module I not import mod1: -module(mod2). If I do "mod1:" in mod2 it recognizes "myfunc", problem is at run-time when I call mod1:myfunc(A) I get "undefined function mod1:myfunc/1" I not understand why I get error if intellisense detect my mod1 function in mod2?

  How do I get bundled images with the BlackBerry Eclipse Plugin 1.1 Beta? I copied an image into "res/background.jpg" and tried to load it using Bitmap.getBitmapResource on background.jpg. Unfortunately, the image wasn't found (Illegal argument exception). I tried moving my image file into the src folder as per the advice here, but that didn't work either. I have opened up the .jar file and the background image is present at the root of the .jar file. The option to convert image files to .png isn't selected either. The file on their server calls the iframe which serves the content. Why is this done and what are the benefits of this method. • ImageData of an externally loaded Image?

  I load an external image and draw it on the Canvas element like so: var canvas = document.getElementById('canvas1'); var context = canvas.getContext('2d'); var image = new Image(); image.onload = function(evt) { context.drawImage(evt.target, 0, 0); } image.src = "test.jpg"; But I want to get the ImageData. So after calling context.drawImage, I do this: var imagedata = canvas.getImageData(); manipulate(imagedata); // modifies imagedata.data context.putImageData(imagedata, 0, 0); Is that the only way to get the imageData of an externally loaded image? Drawing the image on canvas & then getting the imagedata seems awfully slow. Am I missing something? Thanks!

I have the code to check for any matching images, but if there are supposed to be four matching image paths (as that is how many are in the first collection), and there is less than this, how can I get the missing one without writing loops? • How to use SSRS to retrieve HTML snippets with embedded images the easy way

  I have a web-app that retrieves reports from our SSRS server dynamically - we hit a URL and out pops some HTML4.0 which I stuff into a div for the user to view. I recently tried adding a report that has an embedded image (in the RDL itself) and the image doesn't make it through. What does make it through is an IMG SRC reference back to the SSRS box but we do not allow end users to hit the SSRS box directly... users query the web-app and the web-app interacts with the SSRS service. There is an option to render in MHTML (note that we typically use rs:command=RenderHTML with rs:format=HTML4.0) - the blob returned appears to be valid MIME but does not seem friendly for stuffing into a DIV... am I missing something obvious? My next step is to parse the MIME, swizzle the references and stuff the whole thing back into the page but I feel like this is the hardway. What is the easy way to retrieve HTML snippet reports out of SSRS with embedded images?
