  • How do I Uninstall Screwturn?

    Hello, Since when I installed Screwturn I used Web Plateform Installer, I though I'd need to go through Control Panel to uninstall it. But, I saw nothing in the Install/Uninstall section of the control. Rather, I found all the ScrewTurn resources inside the C:\inetpub folder. Clearing everything inside that folder would help get rid of SrewTurn as I didn't copy/paste it there but the WPI did it for me? No side effect to be feared? Thanks for helping

    i wonder what the difference between a library and a plugin is? if a component creates a database (maybe comes with a .sql file or creates through a method) could it still be a library or is it called a plugin or module? cause i am creating a address book component and it provides methods to insert and read records in database. i don't know if i should put it in library folder or plugin folder. please shed a light on this. thanks

    I have a winform application to compress and move some files. When I try to access a path on my desktop, I get an unauthorisedaccess exception. I am running visual studio as administrator (says that in the program bar) and I am a full admin on my machine (can access other accounts, etc). How can I acess this path (folder)? One of the problems I have is the folder keeps setting itself to readonly. Thanks

Everything seems well however the files are getting uncompressed in the folder which has the main perl code module which is running the sub modules. I want the archive to be generated in the folder I specify. When using $tar-extract() it uncompresses in the folder which calls this metohd. when I use $tar-extract_file($arch_file,$dirpath."/$file_name" ) I get an error : No such file in archive: '/home/fsang/dante/workspace/output/s.tar' at /home/fsang/dante/lib/Extraction.pm line 80 Please help I have checked that path and input output there is no issue with it.     I recently moved the asp.net website solution folder (along with class projects) to different location. As the result, visual studio doesn't stop at break points, and I could not able to debug. I see none of my assemblies at Debug Windows Modules; only microsoft assemblies are loaded. I have also deleted all bin folder and re-referenced all projects. But still no luck. Thanks in advance!

    Hi I have been trying to localize my iPhone app in two languages - english and german I have created two folders en.lproj and de.lproj each containing Localizable.strings file for respective language. I have included these files in my resources folder, changed the encoding of these files to UTF-16. I have tried cleaning the project and building it again, deleting folder at path: Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/User But the problem is still there.     In many projects, I check out the complete repository and have then the standard directory structure: project/ branches/ tags/ trunk/ If I do an svn up project, it's all fine with the branches and trunk folders, but, of course, the tags folder is updated, too, and filled with (mostly) lots of tagged versions that are of no value for my work and only occupy disk space. How can I except the tags folder from an svn update? Especially, how can I do this locally only, that is, without committing that back to the repository, as a solution with the svn:ignore keyword would do?
