• (WinForm/.net) Databind List Of Classes To A DataGridView. But Not Show Certain Public Properties

  I'm not even sure if i'm doing this correctly. But basically I have a list of objects that are built out of a class. From there, I am binding the list to a datagrid view that is on a Windows Form (C#) From there, it shows all the public properties of the object, in the datagrid view. However there is some properties that i still need accessible from other parts of my application, but aren't really required to be visible in the DataGridView. So is there an attribute or something similar that I can write above the property to exclude it from being shown. P.S. Im binding at runtime. So i cannot edit the columns via the designer. P.P.S. Please no answers of just making public variables (Although if that is the only way, let me know :)).

• how to update and merge branch in netbeans?

  im using netbeans with svn. i've checked out a project and then i used "copy to..." and chose to copy the trunk to a branch. i deleted the working copy of the trunk and checked out the newly created branch into a working copy and made some changes both in the trunk and the branch. now..how do i update the branch with the new data of the trunk and how do i merge the branch with the trunk using netbeans? is this possible? cause with "merge to..." i could only chose to merge from a remote repository to a local folder.

  Im doing a questionare (form) and i need to put a button submit that do two things : 1) Be a button type INPUT ( because I need to use this kind of button on my php code, I've if(@$_POST['Next']) for save the dates of the form in my DB). 2) That this button will have a link for go to the next screen of the questionare. I tried with a href="demo2.html" target="_blank"><input class="buttonNext" name="submit" type="submit" value="NEXT &#8592" ></a This code don't works but with IE browser on the page page appears a circle next to my button that are the link. So the button don't works, only save the data, but don't link to the next page. How can I solve it ?

• symfony validation problem

  im testing symfony form validation. the problem is very simple. no matter what i put in the body text area and post it, i keep getting "Required" back. i dont know why. i just have one validation rule. here is the code: code what is wrong/how can i debug? thanks UPDATE: it has something to do with the binding in the controller. cause even if i delete the validation the form will still not be valid and it will be passed to the template but this time without the "Required". so it wont be valid no matter if ive got the validation or not. it has something to do with the embedForm() maybe? someone that has validated an embeded form?

• Password remember does not work properly

  On the website I am working on it has been deployed but the problem I am facing is that when I enter a username and password and click on the check box to remember...It remembers the password for sometime.. wen I login in after 5 or 10 minutes it remembers the password but aftr a long period of time like about 2hours it forgets the username and password and i have to type it in all over again... this dint used to happen with the old server as even I could sign in and it remembered the password the next day until i log off... what can be the reason The session state im using is:

  Hello, I'm developing an application for windows mobile 6.5. Im writing the code in c#.net and want to send sms due to my app. I checked out the POOM and sms sending worked fine. Code: SmsMessage msg = new SmsMessage(); msg.To.Add(receiver); msg.Body = messageText; msg.Send(); But there's one problem. I want that the messages will be saved/copied to the "send messages" folder, after my program has sent them. How can I realize that.   Here is the site (made in Wordpress): http://miladalami.com I want to have the footer stick at the bottom of the page. Any solutions in how I do this? I have already tried cssstickyfooter.com and xs4all.nl/~peterned/examples/csslayout1.html but none worked as I wanted. What happened was that the main body of the page overlapsed the footer. I have been wrapping my head around this the past two days and Im lost. Is there anyone that can solve this puzzle?

• Visual Studio swapping code between projects?!?!?!?!??!

  Are there any known issues with visual studio and code being swapped between projects? I had a project running in VS2008 and when i went back to it, the code from another project had been swapped in the Program.cs class. I havent made any mistakes, im not talking about some code- i mean the whole project had been swapped out. Its as if the .proj files or .soln files had been swapped from their project folders??? EDIT Ive restarted laptop, opened the code again and its still showing the wrong code BUT when i execute it, its the right code?!?!?!

• How do you run a .bat file from PHP?

  Can anyone tell me how to execute a .bat file from a PHP script? I have tried - exec("C:[path to file]"); system("C:[path to file]"); nothing is working. Ive checked the PHP manuals and googled around but cant find a good answer. Anyone know where im going wrong?   at the moment i have a column "user_id" in the "threads" table cause one thread belongs to an user. i want to make it like Stackoverflow that one thread can be editable by many users and you can see when they edited, what they edited, roll back changes and so on. im using symfony, is there a plugin for this? if no, are there any 3rd part libraries/plugins to download for this to integrate to existing database? cause i have no idea how to implement this. it sounds like mediawiki, something that already exists? thanks

  I have 3 tables. Here is the relevant information needed for each. items prod_id order_id item_qty orders order_id order_date order_status acct_id accounts acct_id is_wholesale items is linked to order by the order_id and orders is linked to accounts via acct_id I need to sum item_qty for all items where prod_id=464 and the order stats is not 5 and where the is_wholesale is 0 and the order_date is between two dates. Im struggling with this and would appreciate any help. I have a datagrid view and a display button. when i click on this button, the system must prompt me to enter the server name and after typing the server name, it should display all the databases related to that server in some combo box. and again if i select a database it should show all the tables present in that database into a combobox. and if i select a table, it should prompt an option to select only required columns into the datagridview. How can i do this?

  Maybe you consider this question trivial but im just curious what is your opinion. I have three radiobuttons. "Show blue", "Show red" and "Show all". I did it with nullable boolean. There is collumn in database where blue is 0 and red is 1 so in metode i have to translate bool to int to compare those values (i do it in c#).Of course it works, but i wonder if it is the best solution. And question is wich type is best in this case? nullable bool, int, or maybe string?

  Im trying to compare a hashed password value in a mysql database with the hashed value of an inputted password from a login form. However, when I compare the two values it says they aren't equal.   I want to send an anonymous email to my own gmail/hotmail/yahoo/any other mail service address (Im not trying to spam or something like that). Why? I have a .NET application and I want to add a "Send log to the developer" feature (attaching the log) using SmtpClient. The fact is I've read like 30+ pages, and found out, i.e. gmail's smtp client doesn't allow anonymous connections, and many other things.   if i create a new web application tomorrow, should i use Drupal 6 or 7? i have never used drupal before so i have to start learning it first (very familiar with PHP) so i can understand the basics and how to extend it. my concerns for using 7: no modules contributed yet? so i dont have all the fancy stuff i can add like in Drupal 6? no good documentation and lack of web tutorials? how could i learn about it if there is not that much support? too early in the development process? it's not stable enough? i would like to use 7 cause i dont want to relearn everything and 7 is indeed just around the corner. but im afraid that it lacks all other stuff version 6 has. could someone guide me into right direction? thanks

  Im making a small private message application in the form of a phone. Ten messages are shown at the time. And the list of messages are scrolled up/down by hiding them. Just how bad is it to use the DOM to store information in this way. My main goal for doing this is to reduce calls to the database.   Is there any way to stop the page from loading the next page when someone clicks on a <a> tag instead i want it to give the href value so for example "www.google.com" and then do a jquery .load() which is like this $(".window").load(hrefvalue); i know i could just change all the href values to fire up a javascript function but that takes a bit of time so im just looking for the easiest way. so i want it to do stop the page loading the next part on a <a href click. get the href value e.g http://www.google.com. and then do a jquery (.load() or $.ajax()) call for the href page.
