  I have added Jacson libs to my android project and now I am getting such warnings in console: warning: Ignoring InnerClasses attribute for an anonymous inner class that doesn't come with an associated EnclosingMethod attribute. (This class was probably produced by a broken compiler.) I've tried to recompile libs, but it didn't help. Warnings are gone when I remove these libs from project. Everything is working fine on the device, but this annoys me ;) Do you know any solution?

• Cross-browser method for hiding page elements until all content is loaded to prevent layout from appearing broken during load?

  I have an issue where due to some elements loading faster than others, the page looks broken for a few seconds at the start. An example is the CSS Pie behavior that allows me to do curved corners in IE, it appears before it becomes curved which looks bad. What would be ideal would be it somehow knowing when everything is loaded and then appear all at once, possibly including some kind of elegant visual way of not making the user feel impatient... any ideas or common tricks for doing this?

  I'm getting the following error: javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: Broken pipe Now I have seen questions/answers with respects to the socket exception, but this error is coming from a different package. Any help is greatly appreciated. BTW, I am seeing quite a lot of these errors in a struts web app Weblogic Node logs and I am thinking that it has to do with end users closing their web browser before the page reloads/executes the next step (database transaction which takes quite a bit of time to execute, anywhere from 30 seconds to 4 mins).

• rsync over ssh is not working anymore, while ssh itself is working fine (Write failed: broken pipe)

  This issue started happening after i changed router. This is the scenario: Windows7 Host Ubuntu 10.04 Guest (VirtualBox) Ubuntu 10.04 remote server What i used to do is run a very basic rsync command: rsync -avz --delete /local/path/ username@host:/path/to/remote/directory This worked perfect until i did change adsl provider, and i changed router aswell: now, this happens: rsync on Ubuntu Guest is not working anymore (to any random server), if using this new router rsync on Ubuntu Guest is WORKING, if i switch back to old router i tried a new virtual box ubuntu install, and the command is WORKING with both the routers So, the not-working-combo is oldUbuntu + newRouter. To get things worst, i can state that (on the not-working ubuntu) i ping the remote host plain ssh connection to the remote host is working fine (i can auth, connect, and do stuff on the remote host) • Installed SQL Server 2008 and now TFS is broken.

Upgrading was not possible due to the differences in editions of the SQL Servers. Now TFS is broken. To break the dependency, I made class B take class A as a property, rather than a constructor argument, but structuremap still complains. I've seen circular dependencies broken using this method in other DI frameworks - is this a problem with Structuremap or am I doing something wrong?   I have a broken package... So far nothing horrible. The problem is that it is Plymouth, and it seems that if I remove it, I will remove half of the packages of my system... • Is hardware accelerated CSS3 in Safari 4 & 5 broken, or my CSS and JS?

  Hi all, I've created a somewhat silly site that shows you the expected weather forecast for any city in the World. On webkit based browsers, when the weather is sunny a sun with CSS3 animated rotated sunbeams appears. This works fine on Chrome. An example (sunny, at the moment) page is: http://willitraintoday.co.uk/iceland/reykjavik/ However, when viewed in Safari 4 or 5 on Mac Snow Leopard, when the sun appears the sky background appears over it. Weirder still, as the cloud containing the advert moves across the sky, it squashes the main text. When the cloud reaches the left edge, the text appears wider than normal and starts squashing down again. I've tried: - Disabling the CSS3 animation; it works fine in Safari - Juggling the z-index of various elements; to no avail Is there something up with my Javascript or CSS, or is the hardware accelerated snow leopard Safari broken in this case? It seems not to happen in Safari 4 on Leopard, but I don't have Leopard any more to test myself. Grateful for any opinions!

  Firefox View History Before Firefox 3.6.3 when I clicked Ctrl+H it would display my browsing history and I would be able to search it, sort it by Most Visited, Last Visited, etc. Since 3.6.3 I have been having issues: Firefox does not display any entries when filtering by Most Visited or Last Visited. Searching does not work regardless of what keyword I use (i.e. if I type stackoverflow it won't even find it, although it's one of the most visited web sites in my history). Is anybody experiencing similar problems? Are there any known issues that might be causing the problems that I'm seeing?

• What to do with a broken OS X install disc?

  First things first: I don't appreciate software piracy and I really want to spend money on software that I use and that I work and make money with. I don't want this question closed just because I consider downloading software, I only want honest opinions and alternatives. Here we go: So I have my OS X Snow Leopard Upgrade DVD, but it's horribly scratched and won't boot anymore. It endlessly loads and at some point I have to force pull it out of the disc slot. How can I reset my Mac then? Can I take my original disk to an Apple Store and ask them for a replacement? Will they believe me, even if I don't have the receipt anymore? Would owning the original disk make it okay for me to look somewhere on the internet and download it? I don't even know if that will work without hassles. Could I try to read the disk to an image with some error correction methods? Maybe during boot it can't read some files, but some other program can? Is there any other way of resetting the Mac? Mine's now over 3 years old an I seem to have misplaced my original discs that had 10.4 on it. Or should I just buy a new 10.6 upgrade disk? (Which is not really what I want to do) Answers and opinions would be much appreciated.

• Laptop charger disconnects and reconnects, charger or battery broken?

  I've got an Acer Aspire One netbook (AOA-150) and there's obviously something wrong with it. The charging port gets VERY HOT and the charger seems to disconnect and reconnect quickly sometimes. This only happens when the netbook is running, and it doesn't seem to care what it's doing other than being on. The battery has an extremely short life (< 30minutes, sometimes) and I almost exclusively run it on the power cable (which needs the battery plugged in. Having it just plugged into the wall won't start up). Does this sound like a problem with the power cable or the battery? The plug for the cable and the port get so hot that if I held them for longer than a few seconds, I'm sure I'd get burnt. EDIT Just got "Popular Question" on this and it WAS the power jack. The ground on it came loose from the board. A bit of solder on it and everything is working great again.

• New SSD, is the MBR broken? DISK BOOT FAILURE

  I've been running Windows 7 on a WD 500gb SATA single drive, single partition setup for some time with no issues. I've just installed a new Kingston V Series 64gb SSD and performed a clean install of Win7 to it, deleting the partitions on the 500gb and using that as a data drive. All was well for a few reboots but then I started to get "DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER" messages. If I put the Win7 install DVD back in the drive it boots fine. Tried a clean install again, after replacing SATA cables and swapping SATA ports, with a complete partition wipe of both drives. Again, rebooted fine a few times then back with the "DISK BOOT FAILURE" error. Looked on the web and found some discussions about it so I then started from scratch again. This time I wiped the MBR on both drives using MBRWork, disconnected the 500gb and reinstalled to the SSD. Removed the install DVD and installed all the drivers which involved many reboots, all with no problem. To make sure I also did a few cold boots as well. Reconnected the 500gb, initialised, partitioned and formatted it. Copied data to it and did some more reboots and shutdowns. All was ok. Then out of the blue comes another "DISK BOOT FAILURE" and again, if the Win7 install DVD is in the drive it boots fine. So, is the SSD a bad'un? TIA UPDATE: It was a BIOS issue! I found a hidden away option for HDD boot order, which was separate from the usual HDD/CDRom/FDD boot order option. The WD was set to boot before the SSD... Swapped them round and all is well.   First some background: I have a Dell Inspiron 15R M050, it is still under the Dell limited warranty and the Best Buy Extended warranty. I am currently dual booting Debian Squeeze and Windows 7, the only reason I go into Windows is to play video games specifically steam games. Issue: When I play my games in Windows I am capable of playing for anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours before I suffer a hard-lock. I cannot alt-tab, ctrl-alt-delete, ctrl-shift-escape do anything for 2-3 minutes. After this hard-lock period everything runs fine, I can continue the game for probably another hour at least before I suffer another lock. Games: Borderlands, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, Starcraft 2, Garrys Mod What I have tried: Running the diagnostic suite in the dell bios, restoring the OEM Windows recovery partition on the HD, fresh installing Windows 7 Professional, updating BIOS, Calling tech support and having them run a software Hardware Diagnostics suite. The question: I think from the research that I have performed that it might be a lack of thermal paste on the CPU, would I be able to go to Best Buy and have them do a hardware diagnostic from the hardware level then have them be able to tell Dell that there is a hardware issue? Or would there be a different problem?
