  • Dynamic proxies to auto-save models

    I'm trying to make some auto-magic happen in java using proxies to track objects and saving them when a set* method is called. I started of using java's built in Proxy, and everything works just fine, but from what I can understand I need a interface for every model, which is something that I'm trying to avoid. This is where CGLIB comes in, it allows me to create proxies of my models without the use of interfaces. BUT, how can I now retrieve the original object, the one I am trying to save? The optimal solution to be would be something like the EntityManager interface used by hibernate, where you keep your original object, but it is still tracked.

  • "Access is denied" when copying text file to printer UNC path

    We have a new server running Server 2008 R2. We also have a "DOS-based" program that prints directly to the UNC path of a print share. With the new server, we are unable to print from this program. According to support, the program's printing works in the same way as if we were to do a "copy mytextfile.txt \\myserver\myprinter". When we try to run this command in DOS, we get "Access is denied". Support is saying that this is why the DOS program is not able to print. I have tried granting all permissions on the printer to the appropriate users (under Security of the printer properties) but that did not work. Is there a policy setting that would cause this to be denied?

  • Search desktop files using a list of keywords stored in a text file

    I have a list of 1285 keywords (database object names) that I have compiled into a TXT file; one keyword per line. I would like to search a directory of files (most have a .aspx or .cs extension) using this list of keywords. My main goal is find out which of the 1285 database objects are being referenced in these files. Can anyone recommend a tool that could accomplish this? Otherwise, I will just create my own. Thanks.

  • Trying to send text message using sp_send_dbmail truncates url in body

    I'm using send_dbmail to send a text message to customers. This is the following sql: exec msdb.dbo.sp_send_dbmail @recipients='[email protected]', @body='check out this url https://www.someurl.com/directory/blah.aspx', @subject='I am the subject!' The body gets truncated to "check out this url https://www.someurl.com/directory/blah.as" (the "px" is removed from the end of the url). I've ruled out message length as I have tried sending just "www.google.com/test.aspx" and the "px" is removed as well. Another strange thing, when I try forwarding the text message to myself and add the "px" back on myself, it works. It also works if I send a email from outlook with the same body. Any ideas? Thanks.

    problem: Button size is enough, however when I change title, the title text cannot fit the button width. Any SDK function can solve this problem, or I need to manually code to solve it? I cannot accept the way. [_button setTitleEdgeInsets:UIEdgeInsetsMake(10.0, 10.0, 0.0,0.0)]; the way change label's position only, not label size. [_button.titleLabel sizeToFit]; result is same with picture(3). [_button sizeToFit]; title moved to upper left corner, and the title still the same result. Just confused, my button size is big enough, why title size is so small?

  • priority_queue with dynamic priorities

    Hey, I have a server application which accepts incomming queries and executes them. If there are too many queries they should be queued and if some of the other queries got executed the queued queries should be executed as well. Since I want to pass queries with different priorities I think using a priority_queue would be the best choice. e.g. The amout of the axcepting queries (a) hit the limt and new queries will be stored in the queue. All queries have a priority of 1 (lowest) if some of the queries from (a) get executed the programm will pick the query with the highest priority out of the queue and execute it. Still no problem. Now someone is sending a query with a priority of 5 which gets added to the queue. Since this is the query with the highest priority the application will execute this query as soon as the running queries no longer hit the limit. There might be the worst case that 500 queries with a priority of 1 are queued but wont be executed since someone is always sending queries with a priority of 5 hence these 500 queries will be queued for a looooong time. In order to prevent that I want to increase the prioritiy of all queries which have a lower priority than the query with the higher priority, in this example which have a priority lower than 5. So if the query with a priority of 5 gets pulled out of the queue all other queries with a priority < 5 should be increased by 0.2. This way queries with a low priority wont be queued for ever even if there might be 100 queries with a higher priority. EDIT: I think question was misunderstood. There is a drawable inside the Toggle Button (flame_icon) and it is set as background. I want it to be centered. There is no Text, just an image. I need a Toggle Button because I need to have an Active State when selected. There is only drawableLeft, drawableRight, drawableTop, etc. I want a draweableMiddle that doesn't seem to exisit.

I now need to dynamically reference a name in the resouce file. assume I have a resource file called Login.resx, an a number of strings: foo="hello", bar="cruel" and baz="world" normally, I will refer as: String result =Login.foo; and result=="hello"; my problem is, that at code time, I do not know if I want to refer to foo, bar or baz - I have a string that contains either "foo", "bar" or "baz". I need something like: Login["foo"]; Does anyone know if there is any way to dynamically reference a string in a resource file?

    I have a text file containing data in rows and columns (~17000 rows in total). Each column is a uniform number of characters long, with the 'unused' characters filled in by spaces. For example, the first column is 11 characters long, but the last four characters in that column are always spaces (so that it appears to be a nice column when viewed with a text editor). Sometimes it's more than four if the entry is less than 7 characters. The columns are not otherwise separated by commas, tabs, or spaces. They are also not all the same number of characters (the first two are 11, the next two are 8 and the last one is 5 - but again, some are spaces). What I want to do is import the entires (which are numbers) in the last two columns if the second column contains the string 'OW' somewhere in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Currently I'm stuck with a problem in jquerymobile: I'm adding items to a list dynamically and use enhanceWithin() in the end (so styling is correct). After this I like to add click-events for each list item but the problem is, that enhanceWithin runs asynchronous and so I always get the error message "cannot call methods on checkboxradio prior to initialization; attempted to call method 'refresh'" When I delay the event-adding-code it works perfectly.     I have a text box that when it is disabled the text in it is gray and kind of dithered. (This is the standard functionality.) Is there a way to make this easier to see? I have tried this: txtBoxNumber.Enabled = false; txtBoxNumber.ForeColor = Color.Black; and that has no effect.   • Creating dynamic icons based on data entered into database from django forms

    So I'm using Django to create a projects page with multiple forms for each project. Let's call them form 1, 2, 3, and 4. Once you create a project you can fill out any of these forms. I want to create "buttons" or links for each one of the forms that would show up on the main page. Now this is the part I need help with: Step 1. I want it so that if you click on a button for a form (say form 1) and none exists for that project yet a pop up would come up saying "This form does not exist yet, are you sure you want to create one?". And if you'd answer yes you would be directed to the form page. Step 2. But if that form does exist, I don't want any pop up to open and I want the link to take the user directly to that page. Step 3. My next problem is this. These forms are in order, so if you didn't create form 1 but created form 2, I don't want to give the user access to form 1. So in this scenario, if you click on form 1 I want a pop up to open and say "This form can no longer be created", and the link wouldn't function anymore. Basically the button will have 3 function. First it should look at the database and if data for that specific form exists it should do "Step 2", if data for that form and the proceeding forms don't exist it should do "Step 1", and if data for that form doesn't exist but data for proceeding form's does exist is should do "Step 3". Is this possible? Please help as I need to find a solution to this soon. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you

    I need to create a page that will load divs from an external page using Jquery and AJAX. I have come across a few good tutorials, but they are all based on static content, my links and content are generated by PHP. The main tutorial I am basing my code on is from: http://yensdesign.com/2008/12/how-to-load-content-via-ajax-in-jquery/ The exact function i need is as follows: Main page contains a permanent div listing some links containing a parameter. Upon click, link passes parameter to external page. External page filters recordset against parameter and populates div with results. The new div contains a new set of links with new parameters. The external div is loaded underneath the main pages first div. Process can then be repeated creating a chain of divs under each other. The last div in the chain will then direct to a new page collating all the previously used querystrings. I can handle all of the PHP work with populating the divs on the main and external pages.   • JS: Storing dynamic variables across pages?

    I've been looking into local storage options and plugins like Persist.js, sessvars.js, and even sisyphus.js - but I am unsure if any are the best fit (though I'm fairly certain I need to use one). Page one is a form with input fields for data like names, phones, and email. I have a button that replicates a wrapper div (and it's inputs) as long as more inputs are needed. When the form is filled the user hits submit which takes them to a 'confirmation' type php page. I need to the give the user an 'edit' button on page 2 that takes them back to page 1 and leaves all the info alone. For the most part everything returns fine, but if the user had hit the 'replicate' button before submission, and then hits edit afterwards, all the inputs that were dynamically generated return empty and the div no longer exists. Someone suggested that my variables are not persistent (when the replicate button is hit, input with an id="name1" becomes "name2" and so on) so that's when I found out about the plugins mentioned before. Is there a way that I can implement one of those plugins (or any other method) so that when the user returns to page one the div and it's input values remain unchanged? And if I'm on the right track are there any examples?
