    Hello everyone, I am trying to assign a regular expression result to an array inside of a bash script but I am unsure whether that's possible, or if I'm doing it entirely wrong. The below is what I want to happen, however I know my syntax is incorrect: indexes[4]=$(echo b5f1e7bfc2439c621353d1ce0629fb8b | grep -o '[a-f0-9]\{8\}') such that: index[1]=b5f1e7bf index[2]=c2439c62 index[3]=1353d1ce index[4]=0629fb8b Any links, or advice, would be wonderful :)

    Hello. I have a edit page that looks at record_id's in the url.. I don't want the user to see any record id, that way they can't replace it with another and edit another record.... Anyways, my url is like: http://www.mywebsite.com/folder/folder_detail_edit.php?recordID=3980 I would like it to just display: http://www.mywebsite.com/folder/folder_detail_edit.php Is this possible regardless of the recordID???

    I'm trying to make a Jabber bot and I am having trouble keeping it running while waiting for messages. How do I get my script to continuously run? I have tried calling a subroutine that has a while loop that I, in theory, have set up to check for any messages and react accordingly but my script isn't behaving that way.     Hello there :) I am writing an application, and in it, I would like to have some h1 elements with variable font size. I use the full width (1000px) of a div as a limiter, and a script that automatically sets the font of the h1-element so that it fits the width of the div without line break. So, basically, my images are in the size 196x196 or anything like that, but complete square or rectangle with the face in the middle and transperant background in the rest of the portion.
