    Hello friends, I have four TabBarItem (TTTabItem) in a TabBar (TTTabBar). In one case, i want to remove the TabBarItem selection from any of the four TabBarItems (TTTabItem) . i.e., the complete TabBar will not show any TabBarItems selected. Can i achieve it? I tried the following, [_tabBar1 setSelectedTabItem:nil]; But it is crashing. Could someone guide me to resolve this? I need help urgently. (OR) If we clicked on one TabBarItem(TTTabItem), then again clicking on same TabBarItem(TTTabItem) will not call/execute anything right. Can i make it always clicking on a TabBarItem, should call "(void)tabBar: (UITabBar *)tabBar didSelectItem:(UITabBarItem *)item" (or) any other relevant system functions? I need your helps urgently, could someone guide me for my issue? Thank you.

    I am trying to implement sync adaptor, I have followed This guide. But onPerformSync() is not triggered after ContentResolver.requestSync() call . I have also tried some other tutorials and tried to run their code, but still same issue. Please tell me does I need to do some extra configuration for this.   • Install server 2012 on HP ML110 G7 with B110i controller, no disks found

    I'm trying to install Server 2012 on a HP ML110 G7 with a B110i controller and four non hot-swappable SATA drives. I just can't get the Server 2012 boot disk PE environment to find any disks. I have downloaded the latest SPP (Service Pack for Proliant 2012.10) and flashed the BIOS. I have tried two different HP drivers for B110i and Windows X64, 6.18.0.64 and 6.18.2.64 to no avail. I have tried setting the controller to both AHCI and legacy mode in the BIOS, no difference. HP:s SmartStart disc for G7 servers only support installation of up to Windows Server 2008R2. HP:s installation instructions for Server 2012 Essentials says boot from the windows disk and use the storage drivers found on the SPP (I can't find any storage drivers on the SPP disk).

    Trying to install Win7 OS to a Lenovo E335 with no DVD/CD. I have to do it either over PXE/Network or USB. Although I am able to get passt the installation menu of Serva, it fails on Loading Network Resources ... FAILED No NIC/Driver, ABORTING! This is the only log on the Serva Client PC and nothing on the Serva-server. Would appreciate if someone can tell me how to go pass this error. THe network card works fine, it has already loaded the Windows installation structure on a X: drive on the new laptop. Another detail: I am using a normal Ethernet Cable to connect the PCs. Should this be enough or a crossover cable is a must in this case?

    We have a Dell PowerEgde 1950 server with Broadcom NetXtreme gigabit ethernet card, and we are facing a strange problem with static IP assignment. When we assign a static IP to this broadcom NIC, settings are not getting saved. Following are the steps to reproduce problem open TCP/IP properties window for broadcom NIC manually enter static IP address and other details like gateway, DNS, etc. apply and close properties dialog. re-open TCP/IP properties windows, you will see your static IP settings lost and changed to "obtain IP address manually" but when checked using ipconfig command, you will still see your same static IP settings but, when checked using ipconfig command after rebooting server, these static ip settings are completely gone and automatically obtained IP is assigned Supplementary information: Recently we had formatted this server and installed windows 2003 from OEM windows setup CD (not from OS installation CD received from Dell). After windows installation was over, broadcom NIC drivers were installed.

  • Exchange 2010 setup /prepareAD fails to run

    I've tried installing Exchange 2010 on Windows Server 2008 R2 (only domain controller and all-in-one system). I did setup.exe /prepareAD, setup /prepareSchema and it worked fine the first time I did it. Unfortunately due to problem with Hub Transport installation related to (at least from what I've read) IPv6 being disabled (some say disabling it helped them while some enabling helped them). I did it the proper way by using registry entry to disable IPv6 but it still errored out. So i managed to uninstall everything (renamed some old entries in registry of failed Hub Transport roles and tried to reinstal Exchange after rebooting server.     This question already has an answer here: Cant find my harddrives in ubuntu installation? 2 answers I've bought a N54L and fitted two 3GB drives. Keen to get set up with RAID1. BIOS: SATA controller mode set to "RAID" RAID Option ROM utility: both physical drives set up as one logical drive When I came to install Ubuntu (14.04.1), both drives appeared during the setup process. I was only expecting to see the logical drive, although I'm a complete novice with RAID. I've read that the HP Proliant Microservers don't have "proper" RAID support, and require some kind of driver to be installed. I've tried a few HP utilities from the following apt repo: deb http://downloads.linux.hp.com/SDR/repo/mcp wheezy/current non-free On installation, most say "server not supported" Would appreciate your advice.

    I am trying to set up a test installation of Openstack on a Ubuntu 12.04 VM running on a ESXi server. So far I have been able to launch the VMs on the ESXi, however am unable to assign IP addresses to them. As the VM with the Openstack installation has a single public IP, I wish to assign IPs to the VMs create through Openstack so that they can directly interact with the public network itself without having a separate private network. So I feel that bridging would not be the correct option here. But am unable to find the correct documents to go ahead with such an install.     So I learned that to host multiple HTTPS websites on the same IP address you need an OpenSSL version that supports SNI (0.9.8f and higher). My RHEL5 box currently has 0.9.8e and Apache version httpd-2.2.26-2.el5. According to a same question here it's not a good idea to replace the original version of OpenSSL and instead to have a parallel installation. It however doesn't explicitly mention how to achieve this. So my questions are: How do I have an alternate installation of OpenSSL without breaking the system? How do I make Apache to use this version of OpenSSL and not the original one? A detailed guide would be extremely helpful.

  • CheckPoint Endpoint Security VPN client co-existing with Windows VPN

    Hey guys, I work as a consultant for a firm with a Checkpoint firewall. I have downloaded and installed the Checkpoint Endpoint Security VPN client. During the installation, I answered no to any questions pertaining firewall etc. - I just wanted the VPN client itself. However, after the installation, I am no longer able to use any of my pre-existing Windows VPN client connections. It does not matter whether the Checkpoint UI is running or not - shutting down the client does not fix the problem. Uninstalling Checkpoint VPN on the other hand fixes the problem. Does anyone know if it is possible to have both VPN clients work while being installed simultaneously? I don't need them to stay connected simultaneously, just avoiding to install/uninstall the Checkpoint client every time I have to use it is perfectly good. Thanks!

  • Reboot loop after sysprep of AD machine

    Major screw-up here and I need to find out how much trouble I am in. I have an AD machine that is running Server 2008 R2, hyperv, DHCP and DNS. On the hyperv machine, I have a backup AD instance running along with a handfull of other server 2008 instances. Sysprep was run on the hyperv machine instead of one of the instances. I am attempting to bring the machine back up so I can try a system restore. When I boot the hyperv machine, I get an error that says “Windows could not complete the installation. To install windows on this computer , restart the installation” This message occurs in safe mode, AD restore mode and in last known configuration mode. How can I get my OS to boot at this point? Do I need to reinstall 2008 R2 from scratch?

    I have two Server 2008 servers (both running as VMs in VMware). One is a Full Installation, and the other is a Server Core installation. I just installed Print Services on both of them. In Print Management on the Full server, I added the Server Core print server (so now two print servers are listed in Print Management). However, the icon for my Server Core print server has a red, down-pointing arrow (indicating that it is down, I suppose). And when I right-click it and click Add Printer, I get a message saying that access is denied. Can someone tell me how to bring up or check on the status of the Server Core print server. Obviously, I'm somewhat of a noob with this stuff. Thanks in advance...

    Hello, I am trying to install Windows Web Server 2008 x64 (have tried 32-bit, too) onto an IBM eServer 326m and am getting the following error message some time after the unpacking files section: Windows could not update the computer's boot configuration. Installation cannot proceed. I can repair the boot information using the Repair option in the WinPE bit of the setup, and it reboots into the Windows installation, so it has good boot data on the drive. Just to complicate things, the server does not have a DVD-ROM so I'm installing from HDD to HDD, both SATA, one an SSD. I've tried each drive in isolation, e.g. removing the SSD and installing from spindle onto itself, same error every time. Flashed IBM BIOS, too. Thanks for your help. Luke

Ease of use (easy installation, low maintenance and good support) is priority number one, it supersedes price by a wide margin. The installation we had in mind would support up to ten workstations. I was originally going to go with Netgear hardware for firewall, switch duties: Firewall: NETGEAR UTM25-100NAS Switch:NETGEAR GS724T but have been told Sonicwall firewalls are easier to configure. So, sysadmins, if ease of use was priority number one, what hardware would you purchase for firewall, switch duties?

I noticed the tutorial, such as Michael Noll's, http://www.michael-noll.com/tutorials/running-hadoop-on-ubuntu-linux-multi-node-cluster/, asks hadoop to be installed on different nodes with the same installation path. I tried to run hadoop on multi-node. Each node installed hadoop on different path. But not success. I noticed that the hadoop assume installation paths are the same in default.

  • UNIX - mount: only root can do that

    I need to allow a non-root user to mount/unmount a device. I am a total noob when it comes to UNIX, so please dumb it down for me. I've been looking all over teh interwebz to find an answer and it seems everyone is giving the same one, which is to modify /etc/fstab to include that device with the 'user' option (or 'users', tried both). Cool, well I did that and it still says "mount: only root can do that". Here are the contents of my fstab: # /etc/fstab: static file system information. # # Use 'vol_id --uuid' to print the universally unique identifier for a # device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name devices # that works even if disks are added and removed. I'm pretty sure my fstab is set up OK, but everyone on the other posts seems to fail to mention how they actually call the 'mount' command once this entry is in the fstab file. I think this is where my problem may be. The command I use to mount the drive is: $ mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt/sdcard. /bin/mount is owned by root and is in the root group and has 4755 permissions. /bin/umount is owned by root and is in the root group and has 4755 permissions. /mnt/sdcard is owned by me and is in one of my groups and has 0755 permissions. My mount command works fine if I use sudo, but I need to be able to do this without sudo (need to be able to do it from a PHP script using shell_exec). Any suggestions? Sorry for making you read so much...just trying to get as much info in the initial post as possible to preemptively answer questions about configuration stuff. If I missed anything tho, ask away.   • Biztalk Server 2006 64bit problem

    Hi, I am trying to install a 64-bit biztalk server 2006. However when I start my installation it asks if I want to get my .cab file from the internet or install it manually etc. Because of internet security issues here at our work we can't get it from the internet directly. So I downloaded it manually: BtsRedistW2k3EN64.cab, to be exact. However when I try to install this it complains about: This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact your product vendor. I opened the cab file and found out that the file: SQLServer2005_ADOMD.msi was apparently the problem. So I thought I'd install the 64bit version of this msi then: SQLServer2005_ADOMD_x64.msi, however I get the same error. So atm I'm pretty stuck. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks a lot
