  • In Jeditable, how do I make it so that when I click the div to edit, the text box content has initial value that is processed?

    When the user clicks on the div, jeditable will make a text box. However, I want the initial text to be done with function stripTags(), instead of what's on the page. The reason is that I'm using some URL techniques to turn plain text links into URLs.   • In MVC framworks (such as Ruby on Rails), do usually Model spell as singular and controller and view

    I usually see Ruby on Rails books using script/generate model Story name:string link:string which is a singular Story, while when it is controller script/generate controller Stories index then the Story now is Stories, which is plural. Is this a standard on Ruby on Rails? Is it true in other MVC frameworks too, like CakePHP, Symfony, Django, or TurboGears? I see that in the book Rails Space, the controller is also called User, which is the same as the model name, and it is the only exception I see.

  • How to post data in PHP using file_get_contents?

    I am using PHP's function file_get_contents() to fetch contents of a URL and then I process headers through the variable $http_response_header. Now the problem is that some of the URLs need some data to be posted to the URL (for example, login pages). How do I do that? I realize using stream_context I may be able to do that but I am not entirely clear. Thanks.

    Using ASP.NET MVC, I need to configure my URLs like this: www.foo.com/company : render View Company www.foo.com/company/about : render View Company www.foo.com/company/about/mission : render View Mission If "company" is my controller and "about" is my action, what should be "mission"?     I'm using entity framework model first development, and I need to do database migration often, The EF database generation power pack doesn't help a lot, because that data migration never worked here. The database migration here I mean, change the model, and then I can update the existing database from the model, but creating a new one. Is there any free of charge tool here invented here yet? Or would this going to be a new feature of next EF release? PS: I love django's ORM.

    Hi, I'm using htaccess rewrite engine to make urls look nice, from www.mysite.com/index.php?pag=home to www.mysite.com/pag/home it works fine with this rule RewriteRule ^pag/([^/]+)$ index.php?pag=$1 [L,QSA,NC] but when I go to www.mysite.com it redirects me to www.mysite.com/index.php is there a way to redirect to www.mysite.com/pag/home? I tried redirect 301 /index.php http://www.mysite.com/pag/home but when i try to go to www.mysite.com the browser gives my "page do not exsist error"

  • iOS - How to iterate through list of files on website directory

    On iOS, I am looking for the proper way to return the URLs for a list of files that are in a directory. /images 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg ... I know the URL for the directory and know all the files in the directory will be of type jpeg. It is not clear to me how to properly format the NSURLRequest to return the list of files in the images directory. Once the list is returned, I will iterate through it to return the individual images.

I've created a new column for the urls, so I'm looking for a way to extract them and update the linkurl column with them. Is there any clever way to construct a query that does this?
