  • Emulating a "OR" condition in Datastore.

    - by Jelle
    Hello again, I'm using the Google App Engine with Python (Django). How to emulate "SELECT * FROM bla WHERE touser = common.userstats("key") OR fromuser = common.userstats("key") ORDER BY date ASC"? I was thinking of something like this, but I can't get it in the order I want. recievedlist = models.P1.all() recievedlist.filter("touser =", common.userstats("key")) plus1list = recievedlist.fetch(50) sendlist = models.P1.all() sendlist.filter("fromuser =", common.userstats("key")) plus1list += sendlist.fetch(50) # order plus1list

  • Detect if selected element is an anchor on right click

    - by Yawn
I'm writing a small firefox addon to grab urls and send them to a site. What I want to do is be able to right click on a link (but not have to actually highlight it) and be able to click send and the links href value is grabbed and sent. The bit I'm having trouble with is detecting if the selected element is an anchor and grabbing it's href. Many thanks for any help given :)

  • Redirect everything to index.php

    - by pixel
I'm trying to do clean urls by exploding $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] and then switching between the results. However, once a user goes outside index.php, I'm assuming I need to redirect them back to index.php in order to process the URL they want to reach. How can I accomplish this? So for instance, user goes to www.domain.com/home/johndoe/... i'd like the index.php (domain.com/index.php) to be hit so that it can process the /home/johndoe/ via request_uri.

  • Can this be improved? Scrubing of dangerous html tags.

    - by chobo2
    I been finding that for something that I consider pretty import there is very little information or libraries on how to deal with this problem. I found this while searching. I really don't know all the million ways that a hacker could try to insert the dangerous tags. I have a rich html editor so I need to keep non dangerous tags but strip out bad ones. So is this script missing anything? It uses html agility pack. public string ScrubHTML(string html) { HtmlDocument doc = new HtmlDocument(); doc.LoadHtml(html); //Remove potentially harmful elements HtmlNodeCollection nc = doc.DocumentNode.SelectNodes("//script|//link|//iframe|//frameset|//frame|//applet|//object|//embed"); if (nc != null) { foreach (HtmlNode node in nc) { node.ParentNode.RemoveChild(node, false); } } //remove hrefs to java/j/vbscript URLs nc = doc.DocumentNode.SelectNodes("//a[starts-with(translate(@href, 'ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ', 'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz'), 'javascript')]|//a[starts-with(translate(@href, 'ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ', 'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz'), 'jscript')]|//a[starts-with(translate(@href, 'ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ', 'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz'), 'vbscript')]"); if (nc != null) { foreach (HtmlNode node in nc) { node.SetAttributeValue("href", "#"); } } //remove img with refs to java/j/vbscript URLs nc = doc.DocumentNode.SelectNodes("//img[starts-with(translate(@src, 'ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ', 'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz'), 'javascript')]|//img[starts-with(translate(@src, 'ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ', 'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz'), 'jscript')]|//img[starts-with(translate(@src, 'ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ', 'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz'), 'vbscript')]"); if (nc != null) { foreach (HtmlNode node in nc) { node.SetAttributeValue("src", "#"); } } //remove on<Event> handlers from all tags nc = doc.DocumentNode.SelectNodes("//*[@onclick or @onmouseover or @onfocus or @onblur or @onmouseout or @ondoubleclick or @onload or @onunload]"); if (nc != null) { foreach (HtmlNode node in nc) { node.Attributes.Remove("onFocus"); node.Attributes.Remove("onBlur"); node.Attributes.Remove("onClick"); node.Attributes.Remove("onMouseOver"); node.Attributes.Remove("onMouseOut"); node.Attributes.Remove("onDoubleClick"); node.Attributes.Remove("onLoad"); node.Attributes.Remove("onUnload"); } } // remove any style attributes that contain the word expression (IE evaluates this as script) nc = doc.DocumentNode.SelectNodes("//*[contains(translate(@style, 'ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ', 'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz'), 'expression')]"); if (nc != null) { foreach (HtmlNode node in nc) { node.Attributes.Remove("stYle"); } } return doc.DocumentNode.WriteTo(); }

  • Website content crawling

    - by klork
We have a Business Listings directory hosted on IIS 6 Windows 2003. Our competitors crawl and steal our content and customers. We have tried IP blocking using honeypot URLs and log parsing without much success. Is anyone aware of a network device or a proxy server that I can run in front of my web server to minimize this issue? All suggestions are highly appreciated.

    - by digiguru
I have a format of pages that I want to perform an A/B comparison on using google website optimizer. the URLs look as follows - the first page I want to compare... <mywebsite.com>/request1/([a-zA-Z0-9\-]*)_([0-9]+).htm vs <mywebsite.com>/request2/([a-zA-Z0-9\-]*)_([0-9]+).htm the goal page is <mywebsite.com>/request-sent.htm How can I set this up in google website optimizer? If it's not possible, are there alternative solutions available for doing such comparison reports online?

  • Focus on textbox based on URL.

    - by Cameron
I have two forms on one page and want to have the input boxes focused based on the URL. So for example: domain.com/Default.aspx#login and domain.com/Default.aspx#register and the javascript I have this: window.document.getElementById('<%=txtUserName.ClientID %>').focus(); window.document.getElementById('<%=txtEmail.ClientID %>').focus(); it might be better if the urls are Default.aspx?action=login actually (not sure if this effects the way in which it would work)

  • Grails web flow: Possible to include the state name in the url?

    - by Kimble
I'm playing around with Google Analytics goals / funnels. I would like to use this to track a checkout process, but the web flow urls are formated in a way that makes this very hard. Would it be possible to change: http://localhost:8080/checkout/checkout?execution=e1s2 .. into something more like this: http://localhost:8080/checkout/checkout/shipping?execution=e1s2 or any thing else that would make them more trackable with Google Analytics?

  • Hide the Emacs echo area when not in use

    - by Baldur
The echo area is the line at the bottom of Emacs below the mode line: ~ ~ | | +-----------------------+ |-U:--- mode-line | +-----------------------+ | M-x echo-area | +-----------------------+ Now the mode line is highly customizable while the echo area is more rigid (and unused a lot of the time). The question is pretty simple: is it possible to hide the echo area during inactivity and redisplay it once it needs your attention: ~ ~ ~ ~ | | | | | | +-----------------------+ | | |-U:--- mode-line | +-----------------------+ +-----------------------+ |-U:--- mode-line | | M-x echo-area | +-----------------------+ +-----------------------+ Inactive Active This is similar to the way Google Chrome displays URLs when you hover your mose over a link and the Firefox addon Pentadactyl where the command-line is hidden by default.

  • Using URI-fragments in Ruby on rails routing

    - by Alexei
RoR application can generate URL such as /post/10. But now I want to create a site, which works with URI-fragments like gmail. For example gmail uses the following URLs https://mail.google.com/mail/?shva=1#sent https://mail.google.com/mail/?shva=1#label/books I need to generate URL such as /#/post/10, where controller = "post", action = "show", id = "10". Of course it will be good to use standard url-helpers.

  • Customising Web-logics default 404 error page

    - by Sean McDaid
I am running weblogic 9. When I enter an incorrect URL below the application root I redirect 404 request to a customized error page. Eg. http://localhost:7001/myApp/non-existent redirects to my customised error page. Is there a way to do this for all incorrect URLs entered, not necessarily below the application root? Eg. http://localhost:7001/anything_non-existent should redirect to my customized error page, not the web-logic default one? Thanks

  • NamespaceContext and using namespaces with XPath

    - by Jherico
Resolving an xpath that includes namepsaces in Java appears to require the use of a NamespaceContext object, mapping prefixes to namespace urls and vice versa. But I can find no mechanism for getting a NamespaceContext other than implementing it myself. This seems counter-intuitive. Is there any easy way to acquire a NamespaceContext from a document, or to create one, or failing that, to forgo prefixes altogether and specify the xpath with fully qualified names?

  • Is there a way to keep a selenium session persistent accross multiple tests?

    - by Nick
I am testing a django application's frontend with selenium and that's first time I use it. I have multiple tests that test things after user logged in. I want them to be separate tests, but I want to have only log in once, is that possible? (As oppose to what I do right now: I log in first, then execute my testing actions of test1, then log in again and execute my testing actions for test2, etc.)

  • Rewriterule end slash

    - by Maxime
Hi, I'm working on a Rewriterule in order to have URLs like these: http://www.myhost.com/var1/var2/ RewriteRule ^(.*)\/(.*)\/$ index.php?var1=$1&var2=$2 [L] What I would like to add is that when someone types myhost.com/var1/var2 (without the end slash), it still goes to the same page. Is there a better way to do it than this? RewriteRule ^(.*)\/(.*)\/$ index.php?band=$1&song=$2 [L] RewriteRule ^(.*)\/(.*)$ index.php?band=$1&song=$2 [L]

  • How to turn dynamic URL into static URL

    - by Rafael Carvalho
I am developing a website using PHP and Apache. I wanna turn my URLs from www.example.com/book.php?book=title into something like this, if it is possible of course: www.example.com/book/title Notice that the title of the books are unique and cannot be repeated. I`ve read about this, but none of the posts were clear enough for a beginner like me. Do you guys know any tutorial that explains that? Thanks.
