    I had a problem highlighting text in a pdf file embedded in webbrowser control and highlighting text using PDFLibNet.pdfwrapper so i'm shifting to another process where i'll just convert the pdf to html so i can manipulate the source code to highlight text. However, I have added a second html page and linked to it from the first. Attempting to link to a second page doesn't seem to work. Anyone know how to make this work? Thanks.

  • Render as html from a remote link on Rails

    On my registration form i want to show a modal (of twitter-bootstrap) when the user has a successfull signup to tell him to check his email so i put "remote: true" on my form and render a .js.erb wich shows the modal, on my controller. BUT, in case of inputs errors i need to render the page as html to refresh de form showing those errors. Can I call the controller from the remote form as JS but render as html? (or any other idea to do what i want) Thanks!

    I need to export a gridview to excel, I put the return html code from the gridview to a HtmlTextWriter and put this into the response. The result file work fine in excel, excel can parse the html and the result is readable, work perfect on excel 2003 and 2007, but in some machines with Excel 2008 (MACOS) excel shows only the raw html code and can't process this html code. Any idea to configure excel? It done well with normal website but with some 4rum that require authorization such as warez-bb.org, it always return the HTML of the login page.   • Regular expression from font to span (size and colour) and back (VB.NET)

    Hi, I am looking for a regular expression that can convert my font tags (only with size and colour attributes) into span tags with the relevant inline css. This will be done in VB.NET if that helps at all. I also need a regular expression to go the other way as well. To elaborate below is an example of the conversion I am looking for: <font size="10">some text</font> To then become: <span style="font-size:10px;">some text</span> So converting the tag and putting a "px" at the end of whatever the font size is (I don't need to change/convert the font size, just stick px at the end). The regular expression needs to cope with a font tag that only has a size attribute, only a color attribute, or both: <font size="10">some text</font> <font color="#000000">some text</font> <font size="10" color="#000000">some text</font> <font color="#000000" size="10">some text</font> I also need another regular expression to do the opposite conversion. So for example: <span style="font-size:10px;">some text</span> Will become: <font size="10">some text</font> As before converting the tag but this time removing the "px", I don't need to worry about changing the font size. Again this will also need to cope with the size styling, font styling, and a combination of both: <span style="font-size:10px;">some text</span> <span style="color:#000000;">some text</span> <span style="font-size:10px; color:#000000;">some text</span> <span style="color:#000000; font-size:10px;">some text</span> I apprecitate this is a lot to ask, I am hopeless with regular expressions and need to find a way of making these conversions in my code.
