  • Problem with XElement and XslCompiledTransform

    - by Graham Clark
    I'm having some trouble using a combination of XElement and XslCompiledTransform. I've put the sample code I'm using below. If I get my input XML using the GetXmlDocumentXml() method, it works fine. If I use the GetXElementXml() method instead, I get an InvalidOperationException when calling the Transform method of XslComiledTransform: Token Text in state Start would result in an invalid XML document. Make sure that the ConformanceLevel setting is set to ConformanceLevel.Fragment or ConformanceLevel.Auto if you want to write an XML fragment. The CreateNavigator method on both XElement and XmlDocument returns an XPathNavigator. What extra stuff is XmlDocument doing so this all works, and how can I do the same with XElement? Am I just doing something insane? static void Main(string[] args) { XslCompiledTransform stylesheet = GetStylesheet(); // not shown for brevity IXPathNavigable input = this.GetXElementXml(); using (MemoryStream ms = this.TransformXml(input, stylesheet)) { XmlReader xr = XmlReader.Create(ms); xr.MoveToContent(); } } private MemoryStream TransformXml( IXPathNavigable xml, XslCompiledTransform stylesheet) { MemoryStream transformed = new MemoryStream(); XmlWriter writer = XmlWriter.Create(transformed); stylesheet.Transform(xml, null, writer); transformed.Position = 0; return transformed; } private IXPathNavigable GetXElementXml() { var xml = new XElement("x", new XElement("y", "sds")); return xml.CreateNavigator(); } private IXPathNavigable GetXmlDocumentXml() { var xml = new XmlDocument(); xml.LoadXml("<x><y>sds</y></x>"); return xml.CreateNavigator(); }

  • Problem with Java Applet <--> Javascript communication

    - by davr
    I'm having trouble getting a Java Applet to communicate with the Javascript code on the page the applet is hosted on. It works sometimes, but othertimes it throws an obscure exception, that googling for has not turned up any useful information, besides a few Java bug reports that were never resolved (thanks Sun). Here is the code I am using: JSObject win = JSObject.getWindow(this); Object[] args = new Object[1]; args[0] = "test argument"; String result = (String) win.call("testJSfunc", args); // XXX Here is the exception I get on the line marked // XXX. Note that it is intermittent. Often it works, but sometimes it does not, using the same exact code. Reloading the page repeatedly will produce the error pretty quickly. netscape.javascript.JSException: No registered plugin for applet ID 1 at sun.plugin2.main.client.MessagePassingJSObject.newJSException(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.main.client.MessagePassingJSObject.waitForReply(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.main.client.MessagePassingJSObject.call(Unknown Source) at TestApplet.testCallJS(TestApplet.java:159) at TestApplet.init(TestApplet.java:139) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2Manager$AppletExecutionRunnable.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) Is there another more stable way of communicating between Java and Javascript that I should be using?

  • problem with addressfilter in WCF

    - by Zé Carlos
    I've build my own WCF channel with all necessary stuff (like encoders, bindings, etc) to use it with ServiceHost. I just want to build the "channel stack" making no custumizations at "Service Model". To acomplish this, my encoder returns perfect ServiceModel.Messages with a XML infoset just like other channel does. Lets assume the following service implementation: [ServiceContract(Namespace = "http://MyNS")] public interface IService1 { [OperationContract(IsOneWay = true)] void dummy(); } public class Service1 : IService1 { public void dummy() { Console.WriteLine("In Service1:dummy()"); } } I used this service through other bindings and traced the following ServiceModel.Message contents (SOAP format): <s:Envelope xmlns:s="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope" xmlns:a="http://www.w3.org/2005/08/addressing"> <s:Header> <a:Action s:mustUnderstand="1">http://MyNS/IService1/dummy</a:Action> <a:To s:mustUnderstand="1">amqp://localhost</a:To> </s:Header> <s:Body> <dummy xmlns="http://MyNS"></dummy> </s:Body> </s:Envelope> Then (just to debug) i changed my encoder to allways return this message. When i use my custom channel the WCF's runtime replay with an faul message telling: "The message with To '' cannot be processed at the receiver, due to an AddressFilter mismatch at the EndpointDispatcher. Check that the sender and receiver's EndpointAddresses agree." I read that the default EndPointDispatcher.AddressFilter simply looks to the "TO" header and delivery the message to corresponding service. This is happening with other bindings, why not happens with my custom channel too? Is there any way to i check what default AddressFilter is doing? Thanks

  • Quartz.NET Instance Handling Problem

    - by Dhon
    Hi, I have 2 instances which implements 2 different instance IDs in 2 different windows services as: //windows service 1 instance 1 properties["quartz.scheduler.instanceName"] = "instanceName1"; properties["quartz.scheduler.instanceId"] = "instanceID1"; //windows service 2 instance 2 properties["quartz.scheduler.instanceName"] = "instanceName2"; properties["quartz.scheduler.instanceId"] = "instanceID2"; In the ADOJobstore, I can see that there are two instances. However, when I schedule a simple job in instance1, it is getting triggered in instance2 (and vise versa). By looking at the records created in jobstore, the scheduled job are properly tagged with the expected instanceIDs. Any idea of why this is happening?

  • C++ virtual functions.Problem with vtable

    - by adivasile
    I'm doing a little project in C++ and I've come into some problems regarding virtual functions. I have a base class with some virtual functions: #ifndef COLLISIONSHAPE_H_ #define COLLISIONSHAPE_H_ namespace domino { class CollisionShape : public DominoItem { public: // CONSTRUCTOR //------------------------------------------------- // SETTERS //------------------------------------------------- // GETTERS //------------------------------------------------- virtual void GetRadius() = 0; virtual void GetPosition() = 0; virtual void GetGrowth(CollisionShape* other) = 0; virtual void GetSceneNode(); // OTHER //------------------------------------------------- virtual bool overlaps(CollisionShape* shape) = 0; }; } #endif /* COLLISIONSHAPE_H_ */ and a SphereShape class which extends CollisionShape and implements the methods above /* SphereShape.h */ #ifndef SPHERESHAPE_H_ #define SPHERESHAPE_H_ #include "CollisionShape.h" namespace domino { class SphereShape : public CollisionShape { public: // CONSTRUCTOR //------------------------------------------------- SphereShape(); SphereShape(CollisionShape* shape1, CollisionShape* shape2); // DESTRUCTOR //------------------------------------------------- ~SphereShape(); // SETTERS //------------------------------------------------- void SetPosition(); void SetRadius(); // GETTERS //------------------------------------------------- cl_float GetRadius(); cl_float3 GetPosition(); SceneNode* GetSceneNode(); cl_float GetGrowth(CollisionShape* other); // OTHER //------------------------------------------------- bool overlaps(CollisionShape* shape); }; } #endif /* SPHERESHAPE_H_ */ and the .cpp file: /*SphereShape.cpp*/ #include "SphereShape.h" #define max(a,b) (a>b?a:b) namespace domino { // CONSTRUCTOR //------------------------------------------------- SphereShape::SphereShape(CollisionShape* shape1, CollisionShape* shape2) { } // DESTRUCTOR //------------------------------------------------- SphereShape::~SphereShape() { } // SETTERS //------------------------------------------------- void SphereShape::SetPosition() { } void SphereShape::SetRadius() { } // GETTERS //------------------------------------------------- void SphereShape::GetRadius() { } void SphereShape::GetPosition() { } void SphereShape::GetSceneNode() { } void SphereShape::GetGrowth(CollisionShape* other) { } // OTHER //------------------------------------------------- bool SphereShape::overlaps(CollisionShape* shape) { return true; } } These classes, along some other get compiled into a shared library. I'm using gcc version 4.6.0 20110530 (Red Hat 4.6.0-9) (GCC) Later edit: I'm really sorry, but I wrote the code by hand directly here. I have defined the return types in the code. I apologize to the 2 people that answered below. I have to mention that I am a beginner at using more complex project layouts in C++.By this I mean more complex makefiles, shared libraries, stuff like that.

  • Problem calling linux C code from FIQ handler

    - by fastmonkeywheels
    I'm working on an armv6 core and have an FIQ hander that works great when I do all of my work in it. However I need to branch to some additional code that's too large for the FIQ memory area. The FIQ handler gets copied from fiq_start to fiq_end to 0xFFFF001C when registered static void test_fiq_handler(void) { asm volatile("\ .global fiq_start\n\ fiq_start:"); // clear gpio irq asm("ldr r10, GPIO_BASE_ISR"); asm("ldr r9, [r10]"); asm("orr r9, #0x04"); asm("str r9, [r10]"); // clear force register asm("ldr r10, AVIC_BASE_INTFRCH"); asm("ldr r9, [r10]"); asm("mov r9, #0"); asm("str r9, [r10]"); // prepare branch register asm(" ldr r11, fiq_handler"); // save all registers, build sp and branch to C asm(" adr r9, regpool"); asm(" stmia r9, {r0 - r8, r14}"); asm(" adr sp, fiq_sp"); asm(" ldr sp, [sp]"); asm(" add lr, pc,#4"); asm(" mov pc, r11"); #if 0 asm("ldr r10, IOMUX_ADDR12"); asm("ldr r9, [r10]"); asm("orr r9, #0x08 @ top/vertex LED"); asm("str r9,[r10] @turn on LED"); asm("bic r9, #0x08 @ top/vertex LED"); asm("str r9,[r10] @turn on LED"); #endif asm(" adr r9, regpool"); asm(" ldmia r9, {r0 - r8, r14}"); // return asm("subs pc, r14, #4"); asm("IOMUX_ADDR12: .word 0xFC2A4000"); asm("AVIC_BASE_INTCNTL: .word 0xFC400000"); asm("AVIC_BASE_INTENNUM: .word 0xFC400008"); asm("AVIC_BASE_INTDISNUM: .word 0xFC40000C"); asm("AVIC_BASE_FIVECSR: .word 0xFC400044"); asm("AVIC_BASE_INTFRCH: .word 0xFC400050"); asm("GPIO_BASE_ISR: .word 0xFC2CC018"); asm(".globl fiq_handler"); asm("fiq_sp: .long fiq_stack+120"); asm("fiq_handler: .long 0"); asm("regpool: .space 40"); asm(".pool"); asm(".align 5"); asm("fiq_stack: .space 124"); asm(".global fiq_end"); asm("fiq_end:"); } fiq_hander gets set to the following function: static void fiq_flip_pins(void) { asm("ldr r10, IOMUX_ADDR12_k"); asm("ldr r9, [r10]"); asm("orr r9, #0x08 @ top/vertex LED"); asm("str r9,[r10] @turn on LED"); asm("bic r9, #0x08 @ top/vertex LED"); asm("str r9,[r10] @turn on LED"); asm("IOMUX_ADDR12_k: .word 0xFC2A4000"); } EXPORT_SYMBOL(fiq_flip_pins); I know that since the FIQ handler operates outside of any normal kernel API's and that it is a rather high priority interrupt I must ensure that whatever I call is already swapped into memory. I do this by having the fiq_flip_pins function defined in the monolithic kernel and not as a module which gets vmalloc. If I don't branch to the fiq_flip_pins function, and instead do the work in the test_fiq_handler function everything works as expected. It's the branching that's causing me problems at the moment. Right after branching I get a kernel panic about a paging request. I don't understand why I'm getting the paging request. fiq_flip_pins is in the kernel at: c00307ec t fiq_flip_pins Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address 736e6f63 pgd = c3dd0000 [736e6f63] *pgd=00000000 Internal error: Oops: 5 [#1] PREEMPT Modules linked in: hello_1 CPU: 0 Not tainted (2.6.31-207-g7286c01-svn4 #122) PC is at strnlen+0x10/0x28 LR is at string+0x38/0xcc pc : [<c016b004>] lr : [<c016c754>] psr: a00001d3 sp : c3817ea0 ip : 736e6f63 fp : 00000400 r10: c03cab5c r9 : c0339ae0 r8 : 736e6f63 r7 : c03caf5c r6 : c03cab6b r5 : ffffffff r4 : 00000000 r3 : 00000004 r2 : 00000000 r1 : ffffffff r0 : 736e6f63 Flags: NzCv IRQs off FIQs off Mode SVC_32 ISA ARM Segment user Control: 00c5387d Table: 83dd0008 DAC: 00000015 Process sh (pid: 1663, stack limit = 0xc3816268) Stack: (0xc3817ea0 to 0xc3818000) Since there are no API calls in my code I have to assume that something is going wrong in the C call and back.   • Problem with delete operation in many to many relation

    - by Alexey Zakharov
    Hi, I've got to classes Product and Store which have many to many relation I want deleting of store not to cause deleting of related product And deleting of product not to cause deleting of related store. Currently deleting of entity cause exception due to Foreign Key constraint. Here is this classes and their mapping in fluent hibernate: public class Product { public Product() { this.StoresStockedIn = new List<Store>(); } public virtual string Name { get; set; } public virtual double Price { get; set; } public virtual long ProductID { get; set; } public virtual IList<Store> StoresStockedIn { get; set; } } public class Store { public Store() { this.Products = new List<Product>(); this.Staff = new List<Employee>(); } public virtual string Name { get; set; } public virtual IList<Product> Products { get; set; } public virtual IList<Employee> Staff { get; set; } public virtual long StoreID { get; set; } } public class ProductMap : ClassMap<Product> { public ProductMap() { this.Id(x => x.ProductID); this.Map(x => x.Name); this.Map(x => x.Price); this.HasManyToMany(x => x.StoresStockedIn) .Cascade.None() .Table("StoreProduct"); } public class StoreMap : ClassMap<Store> { public StoreMap() { this.Id(x => x.StoreID); this.Map(x => x.Name); this.HasManyToMany(x => x.Products) .Cascade.None() .Inverse() .Table("StoreProduct"); this.HasMany(x => x.Staff) .Cascade.All() .Inverse(); } } Thanks, Alexey Zakharov

  • WPF listbox : problem with selection

    - by KiTe
    Hello. In my XAML file, I have a ListBox declared like this : <ListBox x:Name="lstDeck" Height="280" ItemsSource="{Binding Path=Deck}" > <ListBox.ItemTemplate> <DataTemplate> <ListBoxItem Content="{Binding}" /> </DataTemplate> </ListBox.ItemTemplate> </ListBox> In my view model, Deck is an ObservableCollection, so that binding directly displays the content of my collection. But when I have several value that hold the same value (for example "10" six times), the selection in the ListBox has a weird behaviour : it select 2-3 elements instead of the only the one on which I clicked. Moreover, when I click to another listBoxItem, it doesn't unfocus the previous selected one. Then it is impossible to see which item is actually selected, and impossible to get the SelectedIndex value. Has someone an idea?

  • Autocomplete or Select box? (design problem)

    - by Craig Whitley
    I'm working on a comparison website, so needless to say the search function is the primary feature of the site. I have two input text boxes and a search button. At the moment, the input text boxes use Ajax to query the database and show a drop-down box, but I'm wondering if it would be more intuitive to use a select box instead? The second box is dependant on the first, as when the first is selected theres another ajax query so only the available options for the first selection appear in the autocomplete box. Autocomplete Pros: - "Feels" right? - Looks more appealing than a select box (css design)? Cons: - the user has to be instructed on how to use the search (made to think?) - Only really works off the bat with javascript enabled. - The user may get confused if they type in what they want and no box appears (i.e., no results) Select Box Pros: - Can bring up the list of options / know whats there from the outset. - We use select boxes every day (locations etc.) so we're used to how they work. (more intuitive?) Cons: - Can look a little unaesthetic when theres too many options to choose from. I'm thinking maybe at most around 100 options for my site over time. Any thoughts on how I could go about this would be appreciated!

  • Problem with Twitter basic authentication using AJAX

    - by jelford
    I'm developing a javascript App that needs, as part of its functionality, for users to be able to update their Twitter status. The App is designed to work on mobiles, and as such I don't really want to be sending users all the way over to the Twitter site to sign in; they should just be able to pass their credentials to the app, and I'll handle all the signin. So I'm trying to use the Basic Auth with the restful API. My code looks like: function postTweet(input){ $.ajax( { type: "POST", url: "http://twitter.com/statuses/update.json", data: {status: input}, dataType: "json", error: function() { alert("Some error occured"); }, success: function() { alert("Success!"); }, beforeSend: function(request) { request.setRequestHeader("Authorization", "Basic BASE64OFMYCREDENTIALS");} } ) ; } So, as far as I'm aware, this should perform the authentication from the XMLHttpRequest header, and then post the status. However, whenever I call this code, I get a "401 Unauthorized" error from Twitter. Below are the request & response headers from firebug: Request: OPTIONS /statuses/update.json HTTP/1.1 Host: twitter.com User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 Accept: text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8 Accept-Language: en-gb,en;q=0.5 Accept-Encoding: gzip,deflate Accept-Charset: ISO-8859-1,utf-8;q=0.7,*;q=0.7 Keep-Alive: 115 Connection: keep-alive Origin: null Access-Control-Request-Method: POST Access-Control-Request-Headers: authorization Response: HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized Date: Sat, 13 Mar 2010 11:08:58 GMT Server: hi Status: 401 Unauthorized WWW-Authenticate: Basic realm="Twitter API" X-Runtime: 0.00204 Content-Type: application/json; charset=utf-8 Cache-Control: no-cache, max-age=300 Set-Cookie: guest_id=1268478538488; path=/ _twitter_sess=BAh7CDoPY3JlYXRlZF9hdGwrCPlyNlcnAToHaWQiJWUyN2YzYjc3OTk2NGQ3%250ANzJkYTA4MjYzOWJmYTQyYmUyIgpmbGFzaElDOidBY3Rpb25Db250cm9sbGVy%250AOjpGbGFzaDo6Rmxhc2hIYXNoewAGOgpAdXNlZHsA--d687808459872da0aa6a89cab35fd347300b4d07; domain=.twitter.com; path=/ Expires: Sat, 13 Mar 2010 11:13:58 GMT Vary: Accept-Encoding Content-Encoding: gzip Content-Length: 88 Connection: close Any help with this would be much appreciated, Thanks, jelford ps. • dz's Open Flash Chart 2 disabling animation problem (Rails)

    - by greg
    How to disable the startup animation in OFC2? Since I started using the dz build, the on-show animation is on by default, which sucks quite a lot. Neither of these work: graph.animate=false graph.on_show=false Also, dz's build implements the tooltip hover support poorly - the tooltip continues to hover even when the cursor is on another flash object. Has anyone overcome these problems?

  • Three20 JSON problem: Can deploy to simulator but not device (extThree20JSON)

    - by wgpubs
    Everything builds and runs in the simulator fine ... but when I attempt to run on device I get: "arm-apple-darwin10-gcc-4.2.1: ..../three20/Build/Products/Debug-iphoneos/libextThree20JSON+YAJL.a: No such file or directory" I check that directory and indeed the file doesn't exist. It does exist in the "Debug-iphoneosimulator" though (which I guess explains why it works in the simulator). So what gives and what can I do to correct this? Thanks

  • SVN (Subversion) Problem "File is scheduled for addition, but is missing" - Using Versions

    - by Mike
    I'm using Versions for SVN. I attempt to commit and get this message: Commit failed (details follow): '/Users/mike/Sites/mysite.com/astss-cvsdude/Trunk/cart/flashfile.swf' is scheduled for addition, but is missing I suppose this is because I had added files to the repo, and then deleted them via the filesystem. I'd like to have it simply make note of my change, and apply the change to the repo. How can I get around this?

  • Predicate problem in ToSelectList

    - by Stefanvds
    the ToSelectList method I have: public static IList<SelectListItem> ToSelectList<T>(this IEnumerable<T> itemsToMap, Func<T, string> textProperty, Func<T, string> valueProperty, Predicate<T> isSelected) { var result = new List<SelectListItem>(); foreach (var item in itemsToMap) { result.Add(new SelectListItem { Value = valueProperty(item), Text = textProperty(item), Selected = isSelected(item) }); } return result; } when I call this method here: public static List<SelectListItem> lesgeverList(int selectedID) { NASDataContext _db = new NASDataContext(); var lesg = (from l in _db.Lesgevers where l.LG_Naam != "leeg" orderby l.LG_Naam select l).ToSelectList(m => m.LG_Naam + " " + m.LG_Vnaam, m => m.LG_ID.ToString(), m => m.LG_ID == selectedID); return lesg.ToList(); } the selectlist I get has the selectedID as selected. now, when I want to have multiple selected items, I give a list of Lesgevers public static List<SelectListItem> lesgeverList(List<Lesgever> lg) { NASDataContext _db = new NASDataContext(); var test = (from l in _db.Lesgevers where l.LG_Naam != "leeg" && lg.Contains(l) orderby l.LG_Naam, l.LG_Vnaam select l).ToList(); var lesg = (from l in _db.Lesgevers where l.LG_Naam != "leeg" orderby l.LG_Naam, l.LG_Vnaam select l).ToSelectList(m => m.LG_Naam + " " + m.LG_Vnaam, m => m.LG_ID.ToString(), m => lg.Contains(m)); return lesg.ToList(); } the var test does return the Lesgevers that i have in the lg List, in my 'var lesg', there are no selectlistitem's selected at all. where is my mistake? :) how do I fix thix?

  • Antlr Lexer Quoted String Problem

    - by Loki
    I'm trying to build a lexer to tokenize lone words and quoted strings. I got the following: STRING: QUOTE (options {greedy=false;} : . )* QUOTE ; WS : SPACE+ { $channel = HIDDEN; } ; WORD : ~(QUOTE|SPACE)+ ; For the corner cases, it needs to parse: "string" word1" word2 As three tokens: "string" as STRING and word1" and word2 as WORD. Basically, if there is a last quote, it needs to be part of the WORD were it is. If the quote is surrounded by white spaces, it should be a WORD. I tried this rule for WORD, without success: WORD: ~(QUOTE|SPACE)+ | (~(QUOTE|SPACE)* QUOTE ~QUOTE*)=> ~(QUOTE|SPACE)* QUOTE ~(QUOTE|SPACE)* ;

  • Annoying Twisted Python problem

    - by Kalmi
    I'm trying to answer the following question out of personal interest: What is the fastest way to send 100,000 HTTP requests in Python? And this is what I have came up so far, but I'm experiencing something very stange. When installSignalHandlers is True, it just hangs. I can see that the DelayedCall instances are in reactor._newTimedCalls, but processResponse never gets called. When installSignalHandlers is False, it throws an error and works. from twisted.internet import reactor from twisted.web.client import Agent from threading import Semaphore, Thread import time concurrent = 100 s = Semaphore(concurrent) reactor.suggestThreadPoolSize(concurrent) t=Thread( target=reactor.run, kwargs={'installSignalHandlers':True}) t.daemon=True t.start() agent = Agent(reactor) def processResponse(response,url): print response.code, url s.release() def processError(response,url): print "error", url s.release() def addTask(url): req = agent.request('HEAD', url) req.addCallback(processResponse, url) req.addErrback(processError, url) for url in open('urllist.txt'): addTask(url.strip()) s.acquire() while s._Semaphore__value!=concurrent: time.sleep(0.1) reactor.stop() And here is the error that it throws when installSignalHandlers is True: (Note: This is the expected behaviour! The question is why it doesn't work when installSignalHandlers is False.)
