  I'm currently working on an iPhone app. This app has a login screen, also a signup screen. After the user has successfully signed up, I dismiss the signup view, then the app automatically logs in using the created account. After which, the login view is dismissed, showing the main view. I'm trying to modify this by immediately dismissing the login view, since I already have the account details of the user when the signup is successful. Basically, the ideal flow is: after the user successfully signs up, I save the username and password in a singleton class, then dismiss the signup view. When I get to the parent view (which is the login screen), I have a variable that checks if there was a successful signup. If that variable is true, I want to immediately dismiss the login view. However, I come across this error message: Data Formatters temporarily unavailable, will re-try after a 'continue'. (Unknown error loading shared library "/Developer/usr/lib/libXcodeDebuggerSupport.dylib") I'm not really sure why this happens. I have no problems dismissing the login view when I go through the actual login procedure - which of course also dismisses the login view if the user inputs a correct username and password. I'm not exactly sure, but I'm starting to think that the iPhone cannot handle dismissing 2 view controllers almost at the same time. Is it possible that I'm dismissing the login view too quickly? Is that a factor? Is there anyway for me to be able to dismiss 2 view controllers almost simultaneously without coming across this error message?

  I'm trying to write an Ant script to retrieve an URL via port tunnelling. I can successfully ssh from the command line without being prompted for a password. I'm sure I'm using the correct passphrase for the keyfile. What's the cause of this error and what can I do about it?

  I am writing a small application that does a lot of feed processing. I want to use LINQ EF for this as speed is not an issue, it is a single user app and, in the end, will only be used once a month. My questions revolves around the best way to do bulk inserts using LINQ EF. After parsing the incoming data stream I end up with a List of values. Since the end user may end up trying to import some duplicate data I would like to "clean" the data during insert rather than reading all the records, doing a for loop, rejecting records, then finally importing the remainder.   Hey Guys Been getting this odd error. heres the deal - in the below method i have an alert view come up, take a U/N and PW, then atempt to start another method.   I have the following code written by another developer on 2 pages of my site. This used to work just fine, but now is giving the error "Cannot convert lambda expression to type 'string' because it is not a delegate type" on the Delete line with Ajax.ThemeRollerActionLink. I don't go into this section of the site often, and we recently upgraded from MVC 1.0 to 2.0. I'm guessing that's probably when it stopped working.   OK I've seen a few people with this issue - but I'm already using a file path, not a relative path. My code works fine on my PC, but when another developer goes to upload an image they get this error. I thought it was a security permission thing on the folder - but the system account has full access to the folder (though I get confused about how to test which account the application is running under).   Hi SO'ers, I'm currently trying to access Active Directory via the dbms_ldap API in Pl/Sql (Oracle). The trouble is that I'm not able to connect with my own username and password or anynoymously.   I want to run a command using ssh. • Error with perl script using module Mail::Sendmail

  I am using below code to connect to SMTP server where authentication is required for connection. While executing script I am getting an error message saying "Error sending mail: Connection error from mail.utiba.com on port 465 ()". However the connection to the mail server is working fine, I can connect to the mail server using other mail clients. Please suggest what I am doing wrong here.   I have a selfhosted WCF service application which I want to deploy by a msi installer package. The endpoint uses http port 8888. In order to startup the project under windows 2008 after installation I have to either run the program as administrator or have to edit the http settings with netsh: "netsh http add urlacl url=http://+:8888/ user=\Everyone" I want to edit the http settings from my installer class. I have also tried to use Environment.UserName to allow access at least for the current logged on user. But this does also not work, because the installer class is run by the msi service which runs under the user SYSTEM. Hence Enviroment.UserName returns SYSTEM and that is not what I want. Is there a way to grant access to all (or at least for the current logged on) user to my selfhosted WCF service from a msi installer class?

  Hi there! I've been trying to retrive attachment from message in Exchange server using WebDAV.I don't know which version of Exchange the company is running. I'can successfully read messages and retrive list of attachments. However I am failing to save attachments. In both cases errors is: "The remote server returned an error: <403 Forbidden. • Gridview sorting: SortDirection always Ascending

• Django authentication in django nonrel on GAE

  I'm using the Django nonrel project on a google app engine project running locally in development. I've created my own models and these are fine when they are saved and retrieved in the datastore. I'm hoping to use django.contrib.auth to provide the user functionality. I can use the shell to create users and these get assigned an ID. When I create one of my own models which references User I have to pass in a user ID as it quite rightly fails otherwise. However, checking via the gae admin interface I can't see the User model in the datastore for the users I've created via the shell. Nor can I retreive the user details from one of my models which references them. Calls to mymodel.user.username return nothing. Nor can I log into admin using the username and password I've set up. I can see saved versions of the models I've made in the gae admin app. I get the impression that users are being created somewhere other than the datastore. Is there something else I need to do to use the standard contrib.auth users with django-nonrel and gae?

SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS is calculating how many rows are there and will be using for pagination, so it counts total records, even tho only 20 is showing. DISTINCT will stop the repeated row to display. username is from user table. album, album_permission. its checking if album is private and if it is, then check if user has permission, by user_id. i think rest is easy to understand, but if you need to know more about it, then please ask. im really frustrated by this query and site is very slow or not opening sometimes cause of this query. please help

• Try/Catch with jquery ajax request

  I am trying to build a Google Chrome extension that makes an ajax request. Something similar to the GMail Checker extension. The problem is that when I do the request using jquery, and I put in the wrong username/password, it fails silently, with the error callback function ignored. If I move the ajax call out of the background.html script (where I can't see the requests in the developer window), to the options.html script, I get a dialog box to re-authenticate. If I hit cancel, THEN the jquery error callback fires. But in the original model extension (again, the Gmail checker), they use plain (non-jquery) ajax calls with a try/catch, and if I put in the wrong credentials, I get an alert saying as much. I tried wrapping the entire jquery call in a try/catch, like so: try { $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: someurl, contentType : "text/xml", data: somedata, username: user, password: pass, success: function(data,status,xhr){ alert("Hurrah!"); }, error: function(xhr, status, error){ alert("Error!" + xhr.status); }, dataType: "xml" }); } catch(e) { alert("You messed something up!"); } But still nothing. Is the error due to it being asynchronous, or is Chrome not returning the request as an error since it wants to re-prompt for credentials? Or do I just not know how to use try/catch?
