  Let's say I want to grab the first paragraph in this wikipedia page. How do I get the principal text between the title and contents box using XPath or DOM & PHP or something similar? Is there any php library for that? I don't want to use the api because it's a bit complex. Note: i just need that to add a widget under my pages that displays related info from Wikipedia.

  Hi, I'm creating an interactive e-book for the iPad. This book will contain multiple pages that will consist of a lot of animations (frame and motion animations), transitions,... I was wondering what my development options are, should I use OpenGL, Quartz,...? I've use UIImageView.animationImages before and found that it had really bad performance. Pratically, when the custom control is executed using the MONO runtime, the underlying message is not sent to the control, causing the tab pages to be shown... There is a portable solution which is elegant as the linked one? If it is not possible, what are possible workarounds (apart from removing/adding tabs at runtime)?

Now I would like to list all the figures / tables / algortihms once again at the end of the file so that I can check if they all look the same. For example, if every algorithm has the same notation. • Ruby in DOS CLI, How to do?

  I see in a lot of the tutorials and how to pages, they use the following, or something similar ruby C:\test.rb Which would parse test.rb to the interpreter and ... execute the script. But how is this done a on a windows? Ruby isn't a recognized internal command (as per the DOS output)? I know how to do all these things on Linux, and its as simple as... alas Windows is completely confusing at times :)
