  • Usage of image in sIFR

    Hi there, I want to use sIFR in my blog posts also. But there's a major problem that I couldn't fix. Let's say the blog post is between these divs: <div class="post">BLOG POST IS HERE</div> So, my selector is .post. When I insert an image tag inside this div, the image isn't being showed by the browser. Just like this: <div class="post"><img src="myimage.jpg" align="left" />BLOG POST IS HERE</div> Is there a way to use sIFR with images?

  • how to use ip address in xsl

    - by user1597122
    I'm using xsl to generate html from xsl. I have to use ip address in name of the class in css like this: <td><div title="delete" > <xsl:attribute name="class"> delete_link_<xsl:value-of select="destinationIp"/> </xsl:attribute> <img class="row-remover" src="/media/img/remove.png"/> </div></td> and i have this jquery function: $('.delete_link_<xsl:value-of select="destinationIp"/>').click( function() { // do some thing here }); but because there are 'dots' in ip address, the above code doesn't work. when i remove dots of destinationIp tag in xml file, it works. so i think it has problem with 'dot'. any idea to make it work? really thanks :)

  • Having trouble with Flash, Javascript and JQuery

    - by andypants
    I'm using JQuery with the JQuery flash plugin (http://jquery.lukelutman.com/plugins/flash/) and trying to send a JS call back to the flash, I keep running into "xxx is not a function" so apparently something is off. I'm new to JQuery and very new to this jquery flash plugin and just can't quite wrap my head around what I am doing wrong. Here's where I'm lading up the flash: <div id="tagimgback"> <script language="javascript"> $(document).ready(function(){ $('#tagflash').flash( { src: 'tagflash', width: 200, height: 200, flashvars: {theYear:'2010',theTagNumber:'123'} }, { version: 8 } ); }); </script> </div> And here's where I'm trying to call it: $("#tagflash").gotoNewFrame(theTagNumber); gotoNewFrame is an AS function within my flash. I know the function works as I've been able to test it prior to bringing jQuery into the mix.

  • Django development server serving css but not js

    - by Wisco crew
    I am developing a django (1.4) app on my local machine. I am running the built-in development server with python manage.py runserver. In base.html I have: <link href="{{ STATIC_URL }}bootstrap.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <script src="{{ STATIC_URL }}boostrap-dropdown.js" type="text/javascript"></script> boostrap.css loads just fine when I load a page, but bootstrap-dropdown.js is 404'd. They are sitting right next to each other in my static directory. Relevant parts of settings.py: STATIC_URL = '/static/' STATICFILES_DIRS = ( '/home/username/projects/projectname/static',) Debug is set to True. I have tried it both with and without the staticfiles_urlpatterns trick. Django can find one file in the directory but not the other? I think I'm going crazy.

  • what's the javascript "var _gaq = _gaq || []; " for ?

    - by parvas
    The Async Tracking in google analytics looks like this: var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-XXXXX-X']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s); })(); About The first line var _gaq = _gaq || []; I think it ensures that if _gaq is already defined we should use it otherwise we should an array. Can anybody explain what this is for ? Also, does it matter if _gaq gets renamed ? in other words does google analytics rely on a global object named _gaq ? Thanks Parvas

  • dynamically double image size

    - by Edan Duarte
    I have an embarrassingly simple question: How can I display an image at double its size without hard coding the width and height attributes? Here's what I tried, but I ended up having to just enter 1000 for width and height. Is something wrong with my function? Thanks! <img onload="double(self.id);" name="bigPic" id="bigPic" src="album1.jpg" height="1000" width="1000"/> function double(id) { var img = document.getElementById(id); var dblWdth = img.width * 2; var dblHt = img.height * 2; img.height = dblHt; img.width = dblWdth; }

  • External files (css, js) in embedded jetty

    - by user1938185
    With jetty, you can easily produce "html" response importing external file like : <head> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="myStyle.css"> <script src="myScript.js"></script> <head> However, where do you put myStyle.css and myScript.js, when jetty is embedded? Especially when the jetty server is a large OpenSource project not written by you? Is there by any chance a nice out.println(???); in the servlet.doGet that would provide the answer, or something similar?

I am super confused, so please help. Here is includepath.inc.php (the only I reason it's there is because I am on a shared host, and I don't want to type '/home/bigdumbhash/public_html/include' everytime. These are functions that go with my login system to save time: <?php function valUser() { session_regenerate_id(); $_SESSION['valid'] = true; $_SESSION['username'] = $userid; echo '<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;URL=\'index.php\'">'; } function loggedIn() { if($_SESSION['valid'] == true) { return true; } else { return false; } } function createSalt() { $string = $string = md5(uniqid(rand(), true)); return substr($string, 0, 3); } function logout() { $_SESSION = array(); session_destroy(); echo '<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;URL=\'index.php\'">'; } ?> Here is the actual HTML of the page: <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <link href="style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"> <title> Log in </title> </head> <body> <div class="navbar"> <img class="navlogo" src="logo.png"> <div class="navbutton"><a href="index.php">Home</a></div> <div class="navbutton"><a href="about.php">About</a></div> <div class="navbutton"><a href="donate.php">Donate</a></div> <div class="navregister"><a href="register.php">Register</a></div> </div> ?> <div class="loginbox"> <h1>Log in</h1> <form action="logingo.php" method="POST"> <input class="userpass" type="text" name="username" value="Username" onFocus="this.value='';"> <br> <input class="userpass" type="password" name="password" value="Password" onFocus="this.value='';"> <br> <input class="loginbutton" type="submit" value="Log in!"> </form> </div> </body> </html>

  • iframe reaches bottom of page

    Is there a way to make the height of the <iframe> reach exactly the bottom of the page? It is hard to judge by using height:xx%, and it might be dependent on browser.
